Knights Inn Cedar City - Cedar City

Good, reasonably priced hotel. For what you get (wifi, continental breakfast, etc.), it's a good value. Nothing special, but I was looking for a bed to sleep in and wasn't looking for all the frills. If you're looking for a place to sleep with clean rooms and good services, this is a good value.

For a very low cost we got a lot! A yummy breakfast, a fridge, and a microwave. All of these ammenities helped us save money by not having to go out to eat. The owner was nice, (not so much his wife), but I would definintely recommend this hotel to others!

This hotel was just okay.... It seemed old and outdated, and it wasn't the cleanest. One of the wash cloths was stained and should have never been placed in a hotel room. The lobby smelled like maple syrup. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable even though the sheets and blankets seemed worn.

The toilet was plugged and I was unable to resolve with the plunger. The presence of a plunger makes me think that this might be a commen problem--at least for that room. When I went to set my purse down on the floor, there was a lot of dust and cobwebs in the corner. When I have stayed before I have not had any issue so not sure if this was just a […] fluke. The hotel was very outdated (they had a big sign out front saying, "Color TV") but it was clean. It was as cheap and bare bones as you can get with the exception of the small refrigerator. The beds were not very nice, nor were the linens. The shower and sink also left much to be desired but they did work. If you are looking for a place to hold you over for the night, this will do. If you are looking for something fancy, then choose another place. I would recommend it for those who are just passing through and want a bed to sleep in instead of the car.

I want to change to a new shower head.

We needed a place to sleep on a long road trip, and for the price this fit the bill. Woke up really late because of the drapes, and no breakfast was available, no pity or regrets from the staff at all, not even cofee. :(

Planned a quick snowboarding trip up to Brian Head, UT for the Holiday season. The Knights Inn was just a quick 15 minute drive up to the slopes. Great heating and water pressure. Boarded all day , nice dining around the corner of hotel. Sweet spot!

I've stayed here three times in the past few years, and it's always a pleasant experience. It's not fancy, but it's clean and quiet and easy. I always feel they provide a good value for the price.

Overall a nice clean place to stay. The only thing that was annoying was the Continental Breakfast, there wasn't a tea bag or a sweetener (other than sugar) to be found.

All that I really needed was a room for the night and a hot shower in the morning. It was clean, no bedbugs or nastiness anywhere, and the room was spacious and smelled liked a typical motel. It did the job and was about $25-$30 cheaper than other places in Cedar where I've stayed in the recent past. Cons are: slow slow service at the counter, a pungent […] curry smell in the lobby that is sickening - its like this all the time! The "breakfast" is just dried out rolls, warm milk and sugar cereal in a pez dispenser. Not good. But I didn't care, I needed the room not the breakfast, I didn't plan to sleep in the curry soaked lobby so I could deal with holding my nose for a while. Good point: no bed bugs; Bad points: 1) breakfast is an insulting joke: generic cocopuffs or frosted flakes, unless you want cheap white bread or bagels with no butter or cream cheese. 2) When I asked for a late check out (1 pm instead of 11 am) they wanted $10 per hour. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my single King room had turned into a suite with a King in one room and a Queen (and separate TV in the other). It didn't do me a lot of good as I was alone and had no need for the separate room but it was a nice upgrade. The bathroom ceilings and doorway were really low. The hotel was nice for a night or maybe two, but the "breakfast" was a disappointment--two types of cereal, a few bagels, some juice and coffee. No fruit, no pastries as is tradition with hotel continental breakfasts. I was ok with this hotel and would recommend it for someone staying for a night or two and needing a hotel close to campus and one that was inexpensive. Knights Inn is a motel and that is what you get - motel accommodation. It is well located near the University (Shakespeare Theater) and Route 14 which takes you to Bryce Canyon. The continental breakfast is adequate for a quick bite (Cereal. toast, bagels, muffins, tea & coffee, juice) although the coffee was a tad weak. Pulled up and was checked into my room in less than 2 minutes. Very nice room. Clean. Smells great. Very comfortable. Didn't eat breakfast. Room 201

We were very satisfied with our stay at Knights Inn. It was quiet, in good condition and offered a continental breakfast.

We followed the GPS with the address mentioned in the reservation, and ended up in a village 15 miles away from the hotel. We had to use the google map from our smart phone to get the correct directions. Please get your directions right before you start. Room was clean and had a fridge and microwave to our surprise. Staff not nice

The hotel is old and the rooms a bit musty. It's doable if you get a low rate.

Motel is old and a bit run down. Stains on the carpets and chairs. It was ok for an overnight stay but thought the rating stars were too high

We needed a place to stay enroute from Salt Lake City to Las Vegas. The last time we were in Cedar City, we used Motel6. A check of Motel6's rate showed it was significantly higher than Knight's Inn. While the wife drove, I put a reservation in from my smartphone. The only complaint I have is neither one of us smoke and we both are severely allergic […] to ANY cigarette smoke, so we absolutely had to have a non-smoking room. Unfortuantly we also both have bad knees so a non-first floor room in a motel w/o an elevator is a problem. Wouldn't you know the only room on the first floor at check-in was a smoking room? Hotel front desk personnel were warm and friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Lobby did not open til 7:00 am so we had no access to the "free" continental breakfast on either Sat or Sun morning. This is a great place for a value hotel. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the Shakespeare Festival and several restaurants. The room was nice.

Really nice staff, good pool, comfortable & clean room. I wish the folks in the next room could have closed the door without slamming it but that's not Knight's fault! The location is good - just down the street from my favorite Mexican restaurant (Don Miguel's) & the DQ!

OK, this is a Kinghts Inn not the Ritz Carlton. You're getting what you pay for. However, the management of the property was nice, the room was clean, the shower was great and the property is centrally located within Cedar City and National Parks country in southern Utah. Good basic lodging. Breakfast was nothing to shout about. The price is great if you just need a place to sleep for a night!

Really? Nothing but heavy carbs? Not everyone wants to eat a sugar bomb for breakfast! Other places we stayed on our trip provided at least hard boiled eggs for those who need protein for breakfast. Nothing there I could even eat. blah.

This motel was a bit scary- there were two guys outside yelling at each other and about to get into a fight. Also, the air conditioning unit had a terrible smell like cat urine when I turned it on. Location is good and in a safe neighborhood. The price is very inexpensive so the amenities are in accordance with that. The room was in decent condition. The breakfast wasn't spectacular - mostly cereal, milk, coffee, muffins and some fruit.

Clean room, nice beds, good size TV, free internet worked great, nice area and easy to find. Breakfast was slim pickings, fake OJ, bagels and toast, just two kinds of no name cereal. No variety or even an apple.

Nothing fancy just a good motel to stay over for the night. Lady wasn't very friendly. There was free WIFI, so that was good. Room is ok and nothing to complain about.

We were pleasently surprised. We read the reviews before we booked and so we were aware of the fact that the hotel was older and that the breakfast consisted of cold cereal, toast, and juice. Great for the price

The hotel was a bit older but clean, comfortable and affordable. Only thing I didn't like was that the large window in our room (and all the rooms) didn't have a lock on it.

I chose this motel for its low price and convenient location. It was clean and quiet and met all my needs.
