My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Good clean rooms no complains there. However, at breakfast I watched a server take a cup from a dirty table, look at it , determine its cleanliness and give it to someone else. That was bad but it topped the cake when he took a coffee pitcher from another used table and determined it too was okay to share. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The food was good, the bartender in the lounge was very friendly, made me feel right at home. Everyone made my stay enjoyable and very relaxing. I will stay here anytime I'm in Amarillo.

Extremely poor internet connection. Had to change rooms to be closer to a router. While I was discussing this with the desk clerk, two other people came up and were complaining about cleanliness issues. One demanded, and received, his money back.

The stay was good. The hotel did double charge me but it was taken care of a couple of days later.

My room, was okay, however I was somewhat disappointing, the sliding door in my room broke, couldn't close it the maintenance guy came over like 30 minutes later and said he couldn't fix it, but was able to somehow close it. then breakfast was horrible!!! all of it was bad. I wonder if you can get people to cook better. My children and I didn't eat […] anything the gravy for the biscuits was disgusting. I don't think I will ever come back to a Holiday Inn again. Assigned room not cleaned by 3:30 was then assigned new room and the door to this room was difficult to open or close without great force.

They put us in a room right next to the ice machine. At 5:30 a group of people came to fill their coolers and the noise was so loud it was like a TV blaring in your room. The staff told me I must just be a light sleeper which I'm not at all. They finally agreed to a partial refund.

Food in the resturant was disgusting and it took forever to get served and everything was cold.

The hotel is nice and has a great breakfast including eggs, bacon and sausage. The only problem that I could see is that the staff was a little relaxed about opening up the indoor pool on time, not all of the ice machines were operational and the sider door "D" would sometimes not open from the inside. The elevator in the lobby worked intermittently and so it would stop working without warning. We only used it once when a hotel employee reset it and agreed to go with us while taking us to our room. The hotel is dated and well worn, and is in need of a renovation. The sliding glass door in the room would not open to allow access to the balcony or fresh […] air. The air conditioner would not blow cold air. The Internet access did not work. The shower did not work correctly and would allow some of the water to flow through the faucet for the bathtub, which drained slowly, so the bathtub filled up with water while you were trying to take a shower. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The indoor pool, hot tub and arcade were great amenities for a family, and the free breakfast buffet (eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc.) was very good and served in the hotel's restaurant. It was far and away better than the usual continental breakfast in a breakroom kind of space. When we checked […] out, we were offered goodie bags with water and snacks for the roadtrip ahead. All in all, the place had a feel of a higher-rated hotel class. I think it earns its mid-grade status because it is older, but age is no concern of mine if the place is well-maintained and run, and the people are friendly. The pool and hot tub were slightly dirty, but I chalk this up to very high usage. We stayed in a similarly priced and rated hotel the week before, which was very much a get-what-you-pay-for experience. The Holiday Inn, by contrast, left me feeling like I'd found quite a deal. The room was clean and cool. The hotel is located in a convenient place that is close to services. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

This elderly facility sits on the industrial side of downtown. A new Holiday Inn is being built on the west side of Amarillo and I suspect this one will be closed or sold once the new one is open. The service was quite good, and the free breakfast was hot and hearty. I am not particularly fond of the individual, in-room AC units, which work OK but it […] seems one is either cold when they are on or hot when they aren't, depending on the setting. They should not be allowed to post that they have a "fitness facility;" theirs consisted of two treadmills, an elliptical step machine and a spin machine, only one of which was working. This is the loudest hotel we have ever stayed at. The ice machine was down the hall and it was used all night and so was the elevator. We had 2 dogs stay with us and we were put on the 2nd floor. Because of all the noise, they didn't want to sleep either. Our kids didn't get any sleep and we left in the morning feeling worse than we did when we got […] there. I will never stay here again! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good. Bed was awful. Hard as a board and pillows were lumpy. It's understandable that an older hotel won't have the latest/greatest in accomidations. Things were clean but beds need replaced and pillows do too.

Internet did'nt work. Not sure what the deal was with several (junk) cars in the parking lot, they obvilously were not travels, these cars have beend sitting there a long time.

The pool was closed, there was no parking, the shower curtain was missing, the high speed Internet was not working, and the elevator had a coors light on the floor. Upon checkout I was not asked about my stay, for the first time in my life I was relieved because I hate confrontation.

If all you are going to do is check in late like I did and just sleep then I guess this hotel could be o.k. for you. The reason for this is because this location the parking lot is filled with trash, for some reason its seems that they are overwhelmed with keeping the property clean. The hallway and the doors are dirty, the so called 2 million dollar […] pool was so dirty I could not see the bottom. Check in was slow due to a 'rush' at the time we arrived. Once in the room the temperature was hot so we turned on the AC. It never totally cooled down the room. When questioned front Desk had no other rooms with new AC so we had to stay put for the night. Just an older motel which needs some TLC.

Had to change rooms from the start 1st room was dirty and unclean. 2nd room the sink had been cracked and was not very clean. The entire hotel was run down and not very well maintained. I could have stayed at a motel 6 and had the same experiance.

L'albergo è piuttosto squallido e poco pulito. Assolutamente non all'altezza del nome. I condizionatori fanno rumore durante tutto l'arco della notte, le camere che danno sul giardino interno (chiuso) non hanno praticamente mai ricambio d'aria. Bagni vecchi e poco puliti. Colazione mediocre. A parità di prezzo meglio scegliere altro.
