After checking in to a cheaper all inclusive resort, my partner and I decided we couldn't stand another day of eating its terrible food, and sleeping on a rock. We had already booked the 5 day trip there, but booked a night at the Dreams Resort to vacation from our nightmare resort. We ended up spending the rest of our vacation on the white sands of Dreams resort accompanied by true gourmet food and the friendliest staff. My husband and l stayed at "Dreams" when it was El Camino Real and have always loved the serenity of the setting. It is the only all inclusive we stay at as we enjoy doing the restaurant scene in the locale--but we find our times at Dreams and the choices that are provided work well with our vacation. We do move, however, from Dreams to spend time time […] within Puerto Vallarta at another venue to soak up more of the wonderful Mexican culture. From the special events in the evening, to the whales sometimes cavorting while we eat breakfast (and the fabulous breakfast buffet), to the releasing of the turtles, the friendly and efficient staff, we enjoy our stay at Dreams immensely. The restaurant choices are fine for us--but we only choose to eat in those that have water views. If I was to stay at Dreams for a longer period of time I might want a bit more variety. I love being able to catch the local bus outside on the road as well as the convenience of the taxis always on site. Many years ago, there was often a fashion show around the pool provided by a boutique from PV...that would be a fun event to bring back. But we enjoy Dreams very much,l encourage others to try it, and are already looking forward to our next stay. Baca selanjutnya

My husband and I were finishing up our honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta and spent the last two nights of our trip at Dreams PV to attend the weddding of two friends. I will be the first to admit that our mediocre experience at dreams could have been because we had spent the previous 4 nights at the ultra-luxury Grand Velas where the staff appeared proud […] of their careers and jobs and took customer service seriously. At DREAMS, one got the feeling that many of the staff didn't actually like their customers or their jobs. Some of the staff was excellent, but some, not so much. We waited too long to book our room and the only room left was a large amount a night pent house. For this amount of money we expected that the preferred tower club house would not have hundreds of fruit flies covering the fruit. One would also expect that housekeeping would arrive before 7pm, or that the leak in the ceiling in our room would have been dealt with with more than a towel placed on the floor. Aside from these issues, the other complaint we had was that the property is starting to show its age. The pool is a bit outdated as are the buildings. There are some great parts about this hotel. The food isn't wonderful, but it isn't bad either. It is like cruise food. The drinks are flowing and they use decent liquor. The beach is the big draw. It is beautiful and they have plentiful lounge chairs and umbrellas to enjoy the view. The wedding we attended was very well run and managed and they put their best people on the event to run the bar and bring excellent food. It was the highlight of the trip and they aced this part of it. I am not sure that I would recommend this place if you are into being pampered and in a super luxury environment, but it is a great place to go for a wedding or a spring break with friends. We loved the private beach not crowded at all, service was great very relaxing.

We loved the hotel, the staff was very friendly, and the food was great. Drink service was very prompt and we had a great time. This was our first time at an all-inclusive and I was a little worried. I thought the place would be filled with partygoers taking advantage of the free-flowing booze and very low qualtiy food. But I was wrong...We loved the […] food and never saw anyone getting too out of hand. We are big fans...The Suites are nice, but not necessary...we spent all our time on the private beach. When it comes to all inclusive resorts I tend to have low expectations simply because it's hard to pull it off well. My wife and I aren't hard to please but still recognize flaws. After spending a week in the resort and around the town, meeting many other tourists, Dreams is definitely the place to stay for a great price (in July 09 atleast). The food […] was great, the hotel is great, the beach is beautiful. We stayed in the preferred tower which I think is clearly the way to go. The price difference was minimal in relation to what you get. The resort is secluded by cliffs on either side of the beach and a gate to get in so there are no all inclusive wrist bands or other tacky measures to make sure you're legit. The outdoor bars take care of you all day long with the typical beach drinks and corona and negra modelo on tap. The infinity pool is where you want to be for couples and adults while the other pull is roaming with little kids. We never had a problem with the two groups clashing as the resort is big enough to handle both. If you want all inclusive, with a great room and amazing views you might as well stop searching because this is what you want. Lastly, a few boats pull up every day to offer fishing, snorkeling, etc. I met George and his boat "Simpre Viva", nice guy and knows everything about the area. Paid him for a trip out on the water for a few hours and had a great time. A good way to avoid larger boat excursions where you're shuttled like a herd of cattle. Baca selanjutnya
