Our hotel room here had twp double beds. One was tilted, the other was on a frame too big for the mattress resulting in large metal supports sticking out of the sides of the frame about 3 inches - a great ankle killer. The light in the corner had neither bulb nor shade. We got there late and very tired, and immediately went to bed. I had noticed that […] the room had a strange smell to it,but was too tited tothink much about it. Later in the night I realized that the strange smell was stale tobaco, the hotel and given us a smoking room although we had booked non-smoking. "Comfort Inn- Vernon Ct."
Water pressure in bathroom was poor and sink did not drain well. Overlooked parking lot and had to ask help to close blinds. Staff was very helpful and I would stay there again if in area and needed a place to stay overnight.

"Hotel mostly a truck stop-smelled smoke badly!"
In non-smoking room but we could smell smoke and clothes smelled smoke on departure. Breakfast was well presented and clean. Stayed 2 nights and bathroom was not cleaned first night until afternoon next day once we notified clerk at front desk! Only towels were changed. Not worth the price we paid!

This is a perfectly serviceable hotel. When I have to go to Vernon (my old home town) it suits the bill just fine. It's clean and centrally located. Having Rein's Deli next door is a total bonus!
Excellent location off of I-84 both directions. The staff is good but they had problems with the computer at check in. They are right next to a wonderful Jewish Deli/Restaurant which suited my wife and I really well. The hotels owners children need a better place to play than the parking lot. A child could get hurt.
