"just renovated--BEAUTIFUL"
We walked into our room and really thought we had walked into a 4-5 star hotel. We have stayed in Ritz Carltons, 4 Seasons and Lowes in Europe this room was on a par. "Needed accomadations for a funeral in town."
The only hotel in town and very nice and clean, but very overpriced for the area. Even with expedia discount, felt it was too much. It is next door to a resturant that is ok, but right next to the interstate and we saw police flashing lights for a long time in our window. Our whole extended family had to stay in this hotel for a funeral and their hospitality and service were outstanding. The hotel is clean, comfortable and convenient. It was a pleasant surprise. Easy access off the highway, and close to most many types of stores. Nice, safe area. It was very nicely renovated. The room and bath were clean. "Comfort Inn in Plainwell... GOOD surprise!"
I was a bit concerned about the Comfort Inn located in Plainwell because after I booked it, then checked reviews as it got closer to my stay... the reviews were only about two stars. I travel for my job and usually stay at a different hotel chain but decided to change things up and try out this place. I was very worried the hotel was going to be "scary" […] and unclean but I was pleasantly surprised to find it the opposite. The hotel was recently renovated and it is great! The room I stayed in was very clean, very nice and the hotel in general was way above what I expected. The location was conveniently located close to a Meijer, eating establishments and the High Way. "Good value for the money."
The hotel was very clean. The staff very pleasant. I had my miniature poodle with me and i only paid a nominal amount for a pet charge.
