AZIMUT Hotel Berlin City South - Berlin

We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by an unfriendly woman, not very useful at all. My girlfriend asked her to show where we were on the map, she pointed about 2 inches off the map page, which left us confused but we checked another map and it just meant we were very far out from the city..1hr from Berlin city centre, bad hotel description. I took […] a shower and when I dried myself I found that the clean towel wasn't so, it had some caked in poo on it..Which I only realised after I dried myself, nice! Also the shower plug hole wasn't cleaned which meant the water came to nearly over flowing out of the shower, nice! The beds were two single beds pushed together but kept pulling apart which meant someone was gonna fall off so i had to jam a hairbrush at the leg to stop it coming away. The Tv was rubbish, being a European hotel you would expect it to have an array of english/european channels, sadly this was not the case. I stayed here for 3 nights and had a very pleasant experience. I share some details here: - Transportation: Bus 171 leaves every 10-20 minutes or so depending on the weekday and time of the day. The station is about 100-200 meters from the hotel, across the street. You get off at any of the metro stations along the route (Grenzallee, Neukolln, Hermannplatz). […] It takes about 40 minutes to get to the center, but if you'll be out of the hotel for the whole day, it doesn't hurt to be that far way. There're a metro station like 20 minutes away, but I never tried it. - Iron/ironing board: they won't provide one in your room, but the have an ironing room close to the reception. - Wi-fi: I used it once, it worked prefectly, although only in the lobby. Price was fair: 2€ for 30 minutes, 3€ for 1 hour and I think 7,50€ for a day. - Airport Shuttle: I had to call and email the hotel a couple of times to arrange our shuttle, but they finally confirmed a couple of days before my flight. I was worried they wouldn't provide it, since our flight arrive almost at midnight. The driver was there on-time, he was very nice and helpful, and speaks perfect english. It was a short ride to the hotel. - Neighborhood: it seems to be a residential area, but the street is quite commercial (in a good way). McDonalds is next door, so we had breakfast there everyday. If you have a german phone #, you can use their wi-fi for free (you receive the network password via SMS). There's also plenty of restaurants around, and from others reviews I read, they seem to be pretty good. - Bedoom: Bedroom was small, but had everything one could need: small closet, huge mirror (besides the one in the bathroom), desk, chair, small sofa, a place to put your lugagge... I flew to Berlin's Tegel Airport, and assumed that this hotel was very close to it. It ended up being on the opposite side of the city. The neighborhood has NOTHING of interest to a tourist, so one needs to take a bus and a metro to get to the center of the city. Breakfast was overpriced, and wi-fi was not included in the price of the room.

The service was great. The receptionists were attentive, clear, nice and friendly. The location is good if you want to be close to the Schoenefeld airport. It was a short bus ride away. A shuttle to/from the airport would have been nice though. Breakfast was a bit pricey at 12 euro, but this had been known when the hotel was booked. With that said, […] it was a good buffet breakfast with different options. Room was in excellent condition. Very clean and comfortable. Overall, good hotel with great service. the internet usage fee was too much at5 Euros a minute. and the quality of their computer was not worth paying for. Other than that the place was fine

Sehr nettes Personal. Es ist auf jedenfall empfehlenswert die Zimmer im 3.Stockwerk zu buchen, da diese renoviert sind. Diese Zimmer sind für 10 € Mehrbeitrag zu haben (Upgrade). Die Zimmer in der 1. & 2. Etage sind um 2 Klassen schlechter . Für Kurzaufenthalte ist das Hotel mit den besseren Zimmern auf jedenfall zu empfehlen.

V jihovýchodní části města, snadné parkování, pokoj čistý, voňavý, výborná cena. Spokojenost pro účel, který jsme potřebovali - přespání.

Hotel leggermente fuori centro ma comodissimo per l'aeroporto Schoenefeld, autobus 171 parte dall'aeroporto e arriva in 15 minuti di fronte al'hotel.

Wir sind nur eine Nacht im Azimut geblieben und zwar aus rein logistischen Gründen, nämlich weil unser Flug in Schönefeld erst nachts ankam. Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich, aber allgemein nichts besonderes. Der Teppich im ganzen Haus und auch in den Zimmern schien alt. Die Zimmer an sich waren aber sauber. Das […] größte Manko an unserem Zimmer war das Bett, das sich allzu leicht in zwei Betten auseinander schieben ließ und dies auch selbständig dir ganze Nacht hindurch tat. Am ersten Tag haben wir eine sehr kleine und alte Wohnung für eine Familie bekommen. Nach Rücksprache mit der Rezeption haben wir am nächsten Tag haben wir ein sehr grosses und komfortables Zimmer bekommen in der renovierten Teil des Hotels. Wir sind zufrieden mit dem Hotel.

Das Hotel liegt direkt neben mc donals und einer 24 h Tankstelle, was sehr vorteilhaft ist weil es doch weit draussen, südlich von Berlin liegt . Der Bus fährt direkt vor der Tür , ( 171 ) und benötigt ca. 10 min. um zur nächstgelegenen U Bahn zu kommen ( Grenzalle , U 7 ) . Sauberkeit des Hotels lässt zu wünschen übrig , auch Platz ist nicht viel im […] DZ. Ein TIPP : versucht kein Zimmer im 1. OG zu nehmen, da ist eine Dachterasse die für Einbrecher eine Einladung ist. Man kann die Fenster nicht kippen , nur ganz öffnen oder schließen , ist also gezwungen in dem winzigen Zimmer bei geschlossenem Fenster zu schlafen , oder man ist den Einbrechern schutzlos ausgeliefert. Dieses Hotel war sehr günstig und dementsprechend haben wir auch nicht den höchsten Standart erwartet. Die Zimmer waren oberflächlich sauber, aber wir haben auch nicht gesucht..... Die Teppiche in den Fluren erzählen viele feucht fröhliche Geschichten, die wohl mit einem morgendlichen Kater einhergehen:-)) Schlecht geschult, unfreundlich und teilweise […] "unangenehm leicht bekleidet" war das Personal. Keine kompetenten Auskünfte über Transportmittel. Ganz schlecht: Der Weckdienst wurde 2 mal angefordert. 1. Marathon 2. Abflug Beide Male wurde nicht geweckt. Auf diese Hinweise erhielten wir nicht einmal eine "Entschuldigung" das wäre wohl zu erwarten gewesen. Es gibt ähnlich günstige Hotels, besser diese wählen!!!!!! Baca selanjutnya

Alles in allem ein gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Personal an der Reception für diese Preisklasse akzeptabel.

I arrived in the airport very late. I got on a bus number 171 and asked for the stop hotel AZIMUT. Bus driver didn't know the hotel. He had no idea where it was. I told him it's Euro hotel, and then he understood. It was very inconvenient. I couldn't use wifi in my room because wifi didn't get to my room very well.

OverallI thought that the service was good, one very good thing is that they offer free transport both to and from the airport, which helped me and my friend a lot while travelling this time since we arrived late and left early to fly to Stuttgart. Goed Hotel voor verblijf van enkele dagen. Schoon en netjes. Ontbijt was matig voor de prijs die je moest betalen.

If you need a decent hotel with decent prices this is a good deal. Also the staff was very helpful during my stay. Its quite far from the center but we decided to leave our vehicle there and just take the bus and then jump on the ubahn....much quicker than being stuck in traffic.

Et ok og billigt hotel, med en rigtig god morgenbuffet. Faktisk bedre en forventet.

Das Hotel ist leider ziemlich weit entfernt von allen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, man braucht auch lange um z. B. in die Stadtmitte zu gelangen. Entweder nimmt man ein Taxi oder hat selbst ein Auto, dann ist das ganze kein Problem.Liegt dafür in einem ruhigen und freundlichem Stadtteil. Personal freundlich und angenehm. Det var et meget nedslående hotel ophold. Alt virkede gammelt og meget goldt. Selve sengene er af meget gammel kvalitet. Horellets toilet er gammel og koldt. Lugtede. Det er ikke et hotel som jeg vil benytte yderligere. Heldigvis var det et Best Weston hotel lige ved side af. Der var netydelig mere varme der.

Se upp med adressen då det finns två Rudower Strasse. Fel vid incheckning. Kolla före att de har fattat galoppen. Nära flygplatsen. Endast 7 km. Många restauranger i närheten. Hyfsad standard. Bra frukost.
