"Hotel Indigo"
I was so excited about staying at this hotel due to the family activities. I was HUGELY disappointed when I was shocked by the cost of what I thought would at least be a continiential breakfast included (NO). What a shock that was when I was traveling with 2 small children. The housekeeping was also very disappointing. We had to continuously ask for […] towels and extra washcloths (1 per room, it seemed, we had 4) and then they just stopped housekeeping all together. No coffee left, no clean dishes, they were just wiped out and replaced, guessing by the smell. Its like they gave up, and we put stuff away so they could get in and moved around accordingly. They barely made the beds. (which WERE very comfortable). The other disappointment was the small bathroom and shower. It had a detachable shower head, which may not be disappointing for some, but I felt like I was showering in a camper. "It was just OK"
The hotel has the potential to be quite nice but the hallways were very dirty and looked like they were under repair and the room itself was a bit disappointing. The breakfast area was nice and very good

"The Hotel Review"
I personally didn't really care for this hotel because my room wasn't clean, the sheets had stains on them before I even got into the bed. The bathroom was having maintenance issues I had to ask to switch rooms, their pool said it was open and they wouldn't allow me to use their pool or hottub.

We needed the heat during our stay in December and the system was so noisy. Every ten minutes it would come on and make a loud noise that it would even wake us up. Needless to say we had a horrble night's sleep.

"Indigo in Buffalo - near the university"
The hotel overal l was very comfortable, clean and modern. Great location. However, the walls were quite thin. We could hear the television set very clearly from the room next door. Very disturbing and made it very difficult to fall asleep.

Like the fact that there was no rug in the room. Just clean laminate floor. Stayed on second floor and it was very extremely quiet. Fan is noisy, but like most hotels.
"Good looking and comfortable but noisy"
This is a very nice-looking boutique hotel, conveniently close to Buffalo airport and the Canadian border. The only problem is that the walls are very thin, and we were close to the lobby, so we could hear the boisterous crowd at the bar, and conversations of people passing by.

We visit relatives in Buffalo about six times a year. This is a new find. Close to university, shopping, thruway. Clean, aesthetically pleasing, modern, reasonably priced. Beds are wonderful! Very friendly young staff (university students?). This will be our go-to place in the future.

Hotel Indigo was a great choice! I was a little weary to stay in a "non chain" hotel, but this place exceeded my expectations. I had a wonderful experience. Very comfortable, clean, and great staff. i would highly recommend staying here, especially if you're visiting UB!

The hotel was just ok. I think it is way over priced. Our room was not the cleanest. Found hair in our shower, hair and dust all around window and baseboards. Not worth the money.

I have 3 kids going to college in Buffalo and I have stayed at Hotel Indigo 4-5 times now. Very clean, staff is very helpful and I will continue to stay at Hotel Indigo in Amherst

"Cramped"
Smallish room with no closet but an armoire that was too close to the bed too open.Cramped bathroom, no storage, wall hook pulled off door from toiletry bag weight. Four in room but breakfast comp for 2 people. All items for breakfast overpriced so the comps are just a come on. "Excellent Hotel"
I have stayed in the Toronto Indigo Hotel (it doesn't even compare). The bar is fun, the hotel is great, the staff is great, food is good. This is a dog friendly hotel and the staff love he dogs. Very nice, modern styled hotel. FYI to those traveling with kids, there was no bathtub and only one towel bar, in the shower! The location was fine, close enough to the falls and to Buffalo.

The room was very comfortable and clean, and well decorated, It had a flat screen TV that was nice to watch, I woud not hesitate to reccomend this motel to anyone!
Had a bad experience with one of the staff at the front desk, she was very snappy with us when we asked to have the door lock fixed in our room and additional coffee, didn't even ask if we need cream for coffee or anything else for that matter. "Breakfast voucher a joke"
My family of three paid extra for the continental breakfast for our one night stay, only to find out the next morning that our breakfast voucher was only good for one of us! When we inquired, they upped it to two. We've never encountered this before.

The hotel was conveniently located near UB, which was my destination. They provide free transportation to and from the airport AND to UB. The rooms are a little wacky with the modern decor, but completely comfortable and clean.

I read a few reviews about this hotel and got mixed reviews. Frankly, for the price we paid I was very happy with the hotel. It was a 25 min drive to Niagara Falls and 10-15 from Buffalo. This is my second time staying at this hotel...and although I really like it I am not sure we will be staying there again. Let me start with the positive things..the hotel is beautiful, the rooms are great and the staff is always very pleasant and helpful. I love that they serve Starbucks coffee and that there is a nice little lounge in the lobby. Free […] Wi-Fi is always appreciated. Now let me get to the negatives...the bed is comfortable but the pillows are horrible...way too soft and it was very hard for me to get comfortable and get to sleep. On this most recent occasion we were put in a room right off the lobby and it was extremely noisy! While the lobby bar is nice, we were not able to enjoy it because on both occasions staying there we couldn't find seats and it would have been nice to sit and enjoy a glass of wine after a long day of shopping. My bf loves whirlpools and was looking forward to enjoying a nice soak in the morning..on both occasions there were kids splashing around and jumping into the whirlpool and he was unable to relax and enjoy it...that is just rude, and on both occasions there were parents with these small kids and they did nothing to stop this nonsense..I understand kids playing in the pool...but in the whirlpool...COME ON! "Hotel Indigo - Great 2 Night Stay"
great all around, convenient location near the UB-North Campus, have a convenient shuttle to take you anywhere in a 5 mile radius, great beds, pool, etc. No Wi-Fi, although they do have computers in the lobby, they have no privacy, and the connection is slow. I did not need access to the web so it was no big deal.

From the delicious smells when you first walk in to the great service this hotel was a great place to stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the University at Buffalo's campus. Right across the street.
