Blue Cypress Hotel - Arlington

Good place to stay at.

Everything was very good except for the fact that the commode was stopped up and my husband was given a plunger to plunge it himself. I think for the price we paid for the hotel that maint. personnel should be on stand by for such emergencies. Other than that, everyone was very cordial.

We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is quite attractive inside and out. The room was large and comfortable, and we loved the chaise lounge. It does not have a coffee shop, but is a perfect choice for people like us who will be on the run and wouldn't have a chance to eat meals there, anyway. The breakfast is adequate for need for meals. We enjoyed our stay (as short as it was) at the Blue Cypress Hotel. The room was well appointed and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was usual fare and it was kept replenished to the end. The only suggestion I would have is to have later breakfast hours during the weekend. Right now the 6-9AM weekend breakfast ends a tad too early.

Alot of road construction. Hotel next to train station with train horn blowing up to 1 am. Pretty workout area until new owners starting using part of gym as storage area. Son got stuck in elevator. Breakfast very small-mot much of selection. Was old Best Western. Find someplace to stay.

Me and my husband stay here just for a night away from our house. The price was great and the hotel was very clean. We will stay here again!

Great hotel with a full gym & indoor pool, only let down was that due to horrendous car rental cost, I never rented, so it is a little isolated due to there being no sidewalk/pathway to nearest shops/restaurants a mile+ away. Would recommend the airport Super Shuttle as this is less than half the cost of taxis. Hotel also provided transport (charged) […] to the Cowboys stadium couple of miles away. I stayed her my first night in Dallas because of the price in conjunction to distance to Cowboys stadium. Fortunately the hotel had a shuttle to go to the stadium and pick up after! This was very convenient, though with it's popularity, the wait after the game was long and due to the frequency, I ended up taking a cab back instead (no problem). I was really pleased with the Hotel. You could tell it was remodeled but they had done a great job. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. There was some construction but it was still easy to get in and out. They also offered a shuttle service to and from the majors venues near the hotel. I would stay here again.

Okay...for the price it was really nice. The area had two major events (concert & playoff baseball) that weekend so there were people everywhere. We had an extra parking pass and the staff offered to place it on the counter to sell for us. So when we took the pass back down to the front desk, they just threw it in a drawer and said ok, thanks. Needless […] to say our pass was never sold. My main issue was the lack of communication between clerks at the front desk. No one knew about resolutions or accodomations made. Everything about this stay was very enjoyable, close to alot of food locations, the mall, 6 flags, and dallas stadium. Also they ahve a full gym downstairs.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very close to Cowboys Stadium, so easy access on and off the interstate. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. The bar was under construction but they promised us it would be up on next years visit to the Dallas area.

little difficult gettin in this place because of the construction but you cannot beat the location if you are going to Six Flags, the Rangers, or the Cowboys! It is a little more expensive than the La Quinta which I would try first simply because they are roughly the same so why not save the $? AWESOME and affordable place to stay if you are going to Cowboys or Rangers Stadium or to Six Flags. This hotel has obviously been remodeled and is very stylish and new. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and a great gym. The only thing that is a bit of a hassle is there is construction near the hotel and the GPS was not reliable but there are […] large signs to follow directing you right to the hotel. This is however, a minor inconvenience hardly worth mentioning considering all that this hotel has to offer....its more a heads up. The wekest point of this property was slack of places to eat or drink in the immediate area, so a bar and grille on site would be great. I had a nice stay otherwise.

We recently stayed at Blue Cypress. We were taking our granddaughter to Hurricane Harbor the following day. This is a great place to stay as it is so close to Six Flags, The Ball Park, and Hurricane Harbor. Everything was good at the hotel except that the outdoor pool was not available and they also did not have a whirlpool or sauna.

Six of us stayed at the Blue Cypress in Arlington, four adults, two kids, on a Texas Rangers game weekend. We well satisfied with our room, especially the new updates and decorations and comfortable beds and clean crisp linens! Breakfast, although not sausage, eggs or waffles, was very good with a good selction of cereals, breads, bagels juices, coffee […] and milk. It was all very good. The neighborhood isn't very appealing and highway construction made it chore to get to the hotel. Once we were there though we all had a good stay! I recommend it. Baca selanjutnya

While I was a little frustrated that they had given away my specific room type, even after I called to confirm the information and a late check in earlier that day, every effort was made to resolve the situation. They offered me two solutions and allowed me to choose the one that worked best for my family. Kudos to the management for making me happy...not […] an easy thing to do late at night when I'm already tired! The fact that getting to the hotel was extremely difficult due to road closers was totally out of their control, but surely added to my frustration level. I had a great time staying at this hotel. My trip was short so I could not go out much because of my meeting schedule. But inside this beautiful hotel, I saw a lot of amenities particularly the business centre, gorgeous lobby and new and clean room made my stay memorable. The Hotel was not far from Six Flags and Rangers Park, but because of construction it was difficult to get to. Also the breakfast was a joke, which was a problem since there are not any fast food places close. The bed was not the best, but the hotel was very clean. It was also newly updated.

The service was wonderful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The prices were fantastic. We had a wonderful stay, and would recommend this hotel.

This is an older hotel that has been remodeled recently. it is in Excellent shape. they did a very good job on the remodel. The gym has potential and pool area as well, but it is showing signs of the water damage it sustained. Room was great, and VERY clean. The location is FANTASTIC. SO close to cowboys stadium, rangers ballpark, six flags/hurricane […] harbor, etc. Cool story of service - it was storming very hard, and a car trunk in the lot popped open. the guy at the front desk went out and closed it, got soaked, and never complained. the owner of the car probably never found out, but we saw it, and i was VERY impressed. Overall not a bad place! I had been to this same hotel year ago under different management, and is much better now. The hotel is under going some renovations and is much nicer and up to date with amenities and style than the hotel from years before. This hotel is a little hard to get to if you don't know the way. My family really enjoyed the pool, however […] I was a little dissapointed that the sauna, and steam rooms were still under renovations. We had a very short stay at this hotel, however our experience was a good one! Recently renovated with a very modern contemporary style. Room and bedding were clean and comfortable. Room service was excellent and the staff were very polite and accomodating. Would reccomend this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. My only complaint was all the construction around the location but other than that very nice, comfortable, and stylish hotel.

We booked this hotel because it was opening weekend for the Texas Rangers & everything else was way overpriced. I was a little nervous because it was so reasonably priced; however, it was wonderful. The rooms are clean and spacious. Everything was top notch. The only problem was a request for adjoining rooms that did not get met. I will be staying here […] the next time I go up to see a game. Awsome place to stay if your visiting for a Rangers or Cowboys game & Six Flags! The staff was extra nice and having the shuttle to the game and back was awesome! Definatly plan on staying there again!

The hotel was obviously recently renovated and the decor is very pleasing and the room was very comfortable. However, the breakfast was meager and the customer service was average. There were no phone books available and the attendant did not give any information on local deliveries other than pizza and the two companies who obviously have an agreement […] with the hotel and charge very steep prices. The hotel is in the middle of being renovated. BUT through the renovation they still have managed to have nice rooms and the staff was very friendly. Their continental breakfast only offered bagels, bread, cereal and apples. The could add a little more to the breakfast. But all in all, our stay was very pleasant and I would stay there again.

Our first room was nothing like what it said onine, it was hot from the AC not being on in the rooms. In the first room the lights didn't work and looked like something from Motel 6. Then we had to pay to upgrade after that and still pay an additional refundable deposit. The next room was still warm from the AC being off.
