The Fort area is the central point of Mumbai. It was here that the commercial and administrative activities were largely concentrated in the past. Even today some of the main financial and other offices are lodged in this area. Churchgate area is in close proximity to Nariman Point, one of the most developed areas in Mumbai. Churchgate gets its name from the famed Churchgate Railway Station. Horniman Circle is the main focus of the Fort area. The Gothic and Victorian buildings in the Fort area highlight the history of the British Empire. Town Hall, an imposing neo-classical construction is located overlooking the Horniman Circle. Those with an interest in Indian art will want to visit the Jehangir Art Gallery, a well-known exhibition space in Mumbai, next to the Prince of Wales Museum. Other prominent landmarks include the Flora Fountain, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (previously Victoria Terminus), the Municipal Corporation building, and the University of Mumbai with the Rajabai Clock tower.

Loved the Oberoi!!! From the first breath of air conditioned air as I stepped inside to the last goodbye to the gentleman greeter outside who helped us into our cab, the entire stay was amazing!! The room was very comfortable, clean, spacious. The staff was extremely professional, warm and welcoming. The gym was up to date and I would get offered a […] cool wet towel to freshen up at the end of my workout with bottled water and fruit. Great added touches ! The breakfast was spectacular at Fenix with both Indian and Western offerings with friendly and efficient waitstaff. I loved the Asiatic Lillies everywhere including the Lilly essence in the air. "Best Hotel Ever!"
Of all the hotels that we visited in India, this was by far my favorite. The room was amazing, the staff were friendly, helpful and the location to central Mumbai and sights was outstanding. I cannot recommend it enough. I will definately be visiting again!
"The Oberoi, what else"
Everything as expected. Only 2 drawbacks: Internet Services should be included in a Hotel like that. Paying 900 Rupees per 24 hours doesn't suit that classy place. The room doors are not soundproof, you here the lobby noise quite well, especially the piano and the band that is playing in the adjoining bar (allthough very good music indeed).
"The Oberoi - Great Hotel"
Great hotel. Great service and liked everything about it. Don't get confused between The Oberoi and The Trident which is connected to it. The Oberoi is far superior and enables access to all the facilities of The Trident also but The Trident guests don't get the same access to The Oberoi.

it was just perfect - everything with so much great detail and the service just overwhelmingly perfect. I truly enjoyed my stay and would go back in an instant. the hotel is in excellent shape, the pool, fitness center state of the art. really recommend this hotel!

I seldom write reveiws but I have to tell everyone who is listening....make your reservation here without thinking twice. We picked this Hotel as our last stop after travelling all over India for six weeks and staying in many 4 and 5 star hotels. I knew Oberois are good but never expected to be completely blown away, Their awesome and extraordinary […] service, the hotel location, their rooms, ambiance, decor and food--- everything was par excellence. We loved every single minute of it. Hear this--I had some water get into my right ear lobe and was having trouble hearing. This happened on the day I was to check out and leave for SFO. I casually mentioned it to the hotel staff. They called me in my room, arranged a free consulatation with their "in-house" doctor who then set up my appointment with a top ENT specialist. (I know that is hard in India) I was able go see the doc in 1 hour and got well. Checked out at 3 PM. Wish I could have stayed there longer...5 stars all the way. Baca selanjutnya
"Oberoi Hotel, Mumbai - Perfect service"
The service level at this hotel is absolute perfection, extremely attentive and gracious without being obtrusive. Views from the rooms are extraordinary -- ask for a south- or west-facing room on an upper floor. The rooms facing the Arabian Sea (toward the west) are the best, but can be pricey. Be sure to dine at Ziya, their innovative fine dining Indian fusion restaurant, while staying at the Oberoi. What an outstanding hotel! Great service, fantastic location, good food and a room that had the most unbelievable view. We were fortunate to be upgraded to an Executive Suite which was huge. We used the hotel gym which was very well equipped as well as their pool. We stayed at the Oberoi for 3 nights after travelling around in India for 2 weeks. The hotel has everything, you can ask for - not only for business travellers but also leisure travellers.
