Coast Gateway Hotel Sea Tac - SeaTac

Having never stayed at this before, I was pleasantly surprised. It was an overnight stopover. The hotel is very close to the airport. The shuttle was the fastest of any at a Seatac hotel I have ever used (many). The staff were all very pleasant. The room was clean and the bed/bedding was very comfortable. I thought is may be noisy, because the building […] is older, and they were full. It was a totally quiet night, I had my best sleep after traveling for a week!. There was a restaurant in the parking lot, and a few more just steps down the street. They also had a decent complimentary breakfast. I would recommend this hotel. Baca selanjutnya

We were on a family mini vaca from Alaska Gone for most of the day at MLB games and sight seeing. The 1st day we left the room with the DND sign on the door. MY bad. I went to the front desk for fresh towels and told them I would need room service the next morning due to my mistake. The following morning I made sure that we took the DND sign down and […] left at 10:00am. A maid was cleaning the room across from us. I smiled & said hello to the maid as we walked away. We returned 5:30pm & our room was still never cleaned. By then dirty glasses, extra towels and trash from the prior two days had built up. We went to the front desk & told them of their error and our disappointment but the woman questioned it as if it was a mistake on our part or she couldn't figure out why we were missed. I asked for someone for more towels and trash removal. The woman at the desk said that she would let house keeping know they passed us. 2 Hrs later a "hotel driver" brought us fresh towels & handed me a trash bag. The driver was a nice man & clearly house keeping wasn't his job but what on earth? I am disappointed that we paid good money and never even had a bed made, fresh glasses or coffee during our 3 night stay. The shower door had brown floaty looking stuff coming from the door seal while the shower ran. Something is seriously lacking in the house keeping department. It was a huge let down! Stayed at many motels near Sea-Tac and this is the worst.Small room and not enough parking, The toilet was leaking and asked the front desk to have fixed. They did nothing.Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

tt was great! I would only recommend that you would have separate light switches for the commode and sink areas so not to disturb your roommates if you need the toilet in the middle of the night. PS I think you spelled the word "neighborhood" incorrectly above

I stayed one night before flying out of Sea Tac! It's SO close to the airport, shuttle was efficient, front desk clerk was SO helpful! The hallways and foyer look older and the bathrooms could be updated but the bed was very comfy and clean!

Surprisingly quiet for a hotel that has a ringside seat for the airplane parking lot at Sea-Tac. The rooms were well appointed and quite clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing essentials that were in my mis-directed luggage. Everything was fine with the exception of sharing the hospitality room where the continental breakfast was served, with a dog. While on a leash, I find it less than appetizing to dine with a canine.

We stayed at this hotel at beginning and end of our trip. Both time we were impressed with the cleanliness and service provided. Hotel is close to airport and we were happy with the shuttle service.

When looking around Tacoma international airport for lodging I noticed this hotel... We got in late and so that may have been why there was only one person working at the desk. Shortly after checking in we made it to our room... Nice basic... Not to bad for the rate!! This package included up to 7 days parking at master park! And so really I have no […] complaints... Excellent service. Shuttle provided rides to the light rail into Seattle, as well as to the airport. The only thing missing was cable access to PBS broadcasts.

Nice value for the money. Stayed 1 night, we were catching a flight out of SeaTac to Alaska the next morning. Staff was friendly, helpful and the shuttle to and from the airport worked seamlessly!!

Easy to find right off freeway and 188th, easy parking, clean and comfortable.

Air conditioning unit in the room was very loud and ineffective. Even in winter, I had the cool air on high and was not very cool. Bed was hard and not very comfortable. There was a business center on the 3rd floor, but you had to go to the front desk to get a special key. Continental breakfast was just ok - everything off brand and a little stale.

We arrived very late but the staff was pleasant and we were able to check in quickly. They sold us bottles of Arrowhead water for only $1 each. I wasn't sure exactly where to park because the parking lot is shared with the Ale House across the way but I won't complain because the parking was free. The free breakfast was good (typical of a hotel breakfast […] with coffee, juice, waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, bagels, toast, english muffins and oatmeal) but I was surprised that there weren't any muffins or danishes. The room was a little small but it was very clean and pretty and the beds were super comfy. This was a "grab bag" hotel from Expedia where I got a good rate because I didn't know the name of the hotel until I had booked it. I was not expecting this hotel to be as great as it was! I am very happy with my stay here. Clean and VERY comfortable bed, great staff and customer service, very nice. I would stay here again and again!

We stay here because parking our car while on a trip is easy and inexpensive. Shuttle to and from airport is great. Will either deliver you to hotel or parking lot when you return. Great customer service. Breakfast has hard boiled eggs and yogurt for gluten free choices.

A very convenient location to the airport . Very friendly and helpful shuttle drivers. The comfort if the room was fine needs Updating. Only bad part was I found a Bug crawling on my closes!! That was Pretty disgusting . .

Room was small, but everything was clean and the staff were very personable and helpful. It is very close to SeaTac airport and the free shuttle runs on demand. The free breakfast is basic and simple but decent.

The hotel was very nice. The room small, but comfortable. It had a small refridgerator, inside a cupboard, a microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Being close to the airport the noise was not very bad considering other places. The continental breakfast starts at 5AM until 10AM. I did not try it because I was going to eat at the VA hospital […] in Seattle, before my appointment. Sharps Roaster and Ale House is across the driveway. Down toward 188th St, about a block away is a very nice Subway sandwich shop with gas fireplace. As you go further you will find a Thai restaurant, Denny's, Jack in the Box, Taco Bell and another family restaurant. All this within a 4-5 block area. Baca selanjutnya

Not sure why the ratings are so high. This hotel seemed pretty average to me. There is no tub, but an OK shower. The toilet and shower are in one room, with the sink in the main room. One light switch does both, annoying if one person is sleeping. There is an armoire, but no regular closet. The bed was comfortable and the room fairly quiet considering […] its airport location.
