Travelodge Cedar City - Cedar City

The AC/Heater unit wouldn't turn off. It got to hot . Therefore we had to turn on AC then it got to Cold.

we were charged twice for the room; once by hotels .com and by the front desk in the morning

The heater didn't work, had to be moved. Room need to be maintained. Location is at a truck stop. So if you don't mind go for it.

We needed a room on short notice, it was ok, beds were comfortable, breakfast was not the greatest. Location was close to where we needed to be for the night.

While the staff was very pleasant and the rooms were clean, the hotel was run down and frightening looking! It was just my son and I and I was very thankful to see other families there when we checked in at night, as I felt that every horror story I have ever seen was filmed here. The breakfast was basically toast or cereal. The upside? I slept better […] than normal and was very comfortable in the bed. The front desk staff was very nice and overall it wasn't a bad stay. The room had torn carpet and exposed carpet tacks which we did step on. It was reported but not repaired during our stay. The heater made noise when it was running so it was either sleep or be warm during a snow storm. The heater was repaired for the next night, The beds were low quality, losing their shape and stained and they needed to be replaced. […] The bed frames were made of wood covered with old carpet. I stayed in this crap hole for one night. My family got 2 rooms and only used one of the rooms. The other room had no heat and the door would not lock. Not only was it unsafe for my kids it also was dirty and there was blood on the bed. After calling Hotel.com back that night to cancel the room reservation for the following night, The hotel would not […] give us back a credit on the room that had the broken door.. Place is hard to find though you can see it from I15... It tools us a lot of time to find the place and when we entered, the room was too cold to stay. It took 3-4 hrs to heat it to room temp. The basin was broken and bed was too small for 2 people though we booked a queen size bed... Not good place to stay.....

The service was good. The handicap room can use new carpeting, plus the lights over the night stands are way too high for a handicap person to reach. The toilet seat needs replacing. Too old and dingy looking. Snow in our parking place could of been cleared. The continental breakfast was better than most places give. It was very good. Clean, Comfortable, Cheap!!! Great for just passing thru.

We were just passing through and needed a bed that allowed dogs. The price was right, the pet fee reasonable, and we found nothing offensive about the room at all.

I didn't pay much for the room and that was what I needed on this trip. The room was clean enough. Very basic. I wish there had been an iron and ironing board. Maybe I could have gotten one if I had requested it, I don't know. Im not one to complain, and i understand the whole "you get what you pay for" phrase quite well... but still, this was one expierence i wish i could have un-done. When i arrived i was greeted by a man who could bairly speek english, and who mistakingly gave me a 1 day keycard, when i had a 6 day stay... i was given a room on the second floor which […] was disgusting, the room was stuffy, the AC unit was covered in at least a half inch of dust and grime, the fridge that was there wasnt plugged in, and the outlet that it could have been plugged into was broken, the sink and faucet were questionable when it came to drinkable water... long story short, the pictures you have in your head for an "Average" hotel are far from this. please stay away. It is an outdated hotel that feels dirty. No complaints with the check in or breakfast, just low budget.

Its location is really awful. It took us about 30 min to find it out in dark. Anyone can miss it even in daytime. But it served the purpose of a simple night stay in a weeklong roadtrip. Value for money.

I read reviews about the hotel being compared to the Bates Motel and my husband and I had to laugh! That is pretty accurate. We rolled into Cedar City at 2am and found the Travel Lodge. It is far out of the way next to a closed restaurant called "steaks and stuff" and an abandoned gas station. We were very hesitant about getting out of the car and spent […] several minutes in shock and denial that this was the hotel seen on hotels.com website. The hotel looked very different, pictures need to be updated. I would not recommend to anyone, find a coupon book readily available in town, you'll find a much nicer hotel for the same price or pretty close. First I called to get directions to the hotel and the person answering the phone could not speak english. Then after we (my daughter and I) checked in we noticed the pillow cases looked dirty, like make up and drowl. I called the front desk and asked for new pillows and they NEVER arrived. The toilet didn't flush, unless you held down the handle. The […] sink wouldnt drain, and the lever didnt work to move the little plunger/stopper up and down. The face clothes where dirty and dingy. They tried twice to enter our room with us in it!! I have to slam the door shut and we slept with with the door barricaded. The refrigerator didnt work.... This was a great place to stay the night on our way to the midwest. Cheap, clean and convenient.

There are small black bugs in the beds and tub. I went to the front desk to tell the clerk, the clerks response was " yes, so of the rooms have bugs".

Although we had to go and request soap that had been omitted by the maintenance staff, we consider this motel very adequate as it met our needs. It was clean and smoke-free. The English of the owner-operator is a bit hard to understand, but he makes up for it in working hard to provide fine traveller accommodation.

this is the worst hotel on my 10days trip in US. I arrived hotel at 1:30am. After driving 800km, all I need is sleep asap. But the owner took more then 30 min to check me in. He is very slow, punching my credit card number one by one, and copy my id for two rooms I booked. He does not know how to make two copy at once. the first room wasn't good, we talked to management and they moved us to another room, it was fine, they included a microwave and mini fridge in the room as well. If something isn't good you just have to ask, we did that and the staff was more than willing to meet our needs.

This room was cheap. Seriously. The sheets on the bed didn't even fit & had to be readjusted 3x in the middle of the night. The A/c for some reason kept turning itself on, even after we turned it off. There was less barely any toilet paper in the bathroom and no replacement roll left.... It appeared as if someone sat on the bathroom counter at some […] point as everything I put on the counter rolled off... Their continential breakfast was nothing more than stale mini muffins and warm juice. The Hotel rating tells it all. The location was terrible and the neighborhood was bleak at best. Arriving at night it was dark with little lighting on the streets leading up to the hotel. was very pleasantly surprised at the condition of this hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and in good repair. Not your usual Travelodge. There were only 2 negatives. The "continental breakfast" was either stale "Fruit Loops" or stale "Raisin Bran" or stale VERY mini muffins. The apple juice was empty (and this was at 8am!). The young lady that checked […] us in was very sweet and helpful but the desk clerk the next morning looked and acted as if we'd woke him up. He didn't even acknowledge our presence until we complimented the quality of the room. Bottom line... We ran into some weather and couldn't get there until 2am. We called ahead and they waited up for us. Nothing fancy and just the basics. It will do for a night of rest if you are on a road trip.

No frills, you get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting much, after reading the reviews, so I wasn't disappointed. It was clean and a place to stay for the nite as I passed thru on my way to Idaho. The food was a nice bonus.

I wasn't expecting anything overly great with a travelodge, and it was rated 1.5 stars, but this was still a disappointment. The room wasn't clean to start with, and after the first attempt by housekeeping we already knew we were in trouble. Things left in the sink, dirty linens left in the room, removing the sheets from the bed but 'forgetting' to […] put new ones on. It was a constant battle to keep the room in any sort of condition that would allow us to stay in it. Very disappointed with the hotel, but will say it's not indicative of the chain as a whole. It was right off I 15 so good for just sleeping. Just convenient if need a bed and don't want to go out of your way.

The "motel" was run by a family and not professional at all. the outside and exterior was run down, the rooms were not horrible, but they weren't exciting to look at either. my wife at least slept in the bed with no blankets (we never touch those things) and didn't have the best nights sleep, but she is pregnant and hard to please anyway. if you are […] seriously un-willing to spend money on a nights stay and need a place, go for it, otherwise, spend the extra $20-25 for somewhere in town and nicer (Choice Hotels are the best, Comfort Inn, La Quinta, etc. for your money) Baca selanjutnya

Stayed for 8 mights to visit relatives in town. The room was clean enough, the rate was pretty economical, but the floor was uneven (tripped on it several times). One of the two beds was worn out and lumpy. A drawer was broken, but the manager had it fixed shortly after I complained. They only gave us one towel per person (some of us have long hair […] and need a towel just for that). I know I could have asked for more, but decided not to. I dislike complaining. The manager was nice enough, but I sometimes felt like I was intruding when I talked to him. There was a nice cleam pool, but I didn't have time for swimming. The free breakfast was cereal - instant hot or two choices of cold; juice (apple or orange); bagel and/or doughnut (no chocolate); milk if you want; coffee or tea. Very cheap, but it saved me on my food budget. The Travelodge Cedar City was difficult to find; even our GPS was not accurate. This motel is not in what appears to be a very good part of Cedar City, but it is close to major roadways. Our room was adequate, but that's all. Since we were traveling with our dog, we were assigned a "pet room." I have no problem with staying in such a room if it is […] clean. The staff was not friendly. We asked for the attractions in Cedar city, and was told no attractions and no shopping.

Terrible service and the person at the front desk was rude. Not going to stay here again.

The outside looked worse than the actual room. The neighborhood was sparse with not much around, and located next to the freeway, but for the price it wasn't too bad. The room was recently remodeled and it was clean. The bed wasn't too bad either. On the other hand, the pool had a lot to be desired! Good thing we weren't there to swim.
