Comfort Suites Downtown - Buffalo

Everything was marvelous exept only one thing - It was cold during our visit in Buffalo and the air conditioner did not work on heating, so we couldn' t fully enjoy our splendid room.

I recently stayed here for a convention. It was only a two block walk to the convention center and very convenient. The breakfast was great and the rooms were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has been one of my favorites in Buffalo, we came in from the country for a Sabres game on Valentines Day. Hotel room was beautiful but what is with the half pillows??? My hubby and I woke up soooo stiff from the mini pillows!!! We also wanted to go for a drink after the game but found nothing but tumbleweeds on Chippawa. The hotel itself is great. All rooms come furnished with a king sized bed, 2 tvs (1 in the living room area and the other in the bedroom area) a nice bathroom, a dressing/make-up area and "kitchenette" with a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker etc. The rooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly. The morning breakfast is good, better than your typical […] continental breakfast. They have yogurt, cerials, woffle machine, baked goods etc. The only downfall was that we did not expect the city of Buffolo to be so empty and dark. When visiting the city just because we found ourselves borrowing dvds from the hotel lobby as apposed to being out and about - perhaps it was the time of the year?!?! Overall, very nice hotel. Spent the night in Buffalo on our way to Boston. What a great room! The staff were so friendly and helpful. We so much enjoyed our stay making plans to come back and will definitely be staying again. Wishing now we would of stayed our whole vacation in Buffalo instead of moving on to Boston. We have stayed at a lot of different hotels but our new favorite […] will be Comfort Suites! Great hotel with the friendliest staff you can find. Very accommodating and understanding, they definitely take good care of you here. Location was fantastic too!

Large room, good place in downtown with a restaurant in the fist floor. Polite and friendly servers.

I stayed at the Comfort Suites last week because it was affordable and close to the area I needed to be in for a job interview. The hotel itself is nice - not glamorous by any means, but cleaned and maintained. The staff is excellent - they were friendly and kind enough to give me a late checkout when I asked. The hotel also has many free amenities […] that add to the value - free parking (in a lot 1 block away), shuttle to the parking garage (during certain hours), shuttle to the airport (if you schedule in advance), free hot breakfast, free gym, free dvd rentals, etc. The building also has a TGI Fridays downstairs, which is nice since you might not want to wander around outside the hotel too much during the night hours. The room itself was spacious and had 2 flatscreen televisions - 1 in the bedroom and 1 in the living room. The room was more than enough for my one night there. Overall, if you're looking for a pretty nice place to stay for a great price, I'd recommend Comfort Suites. Baca selanjutnya

The building looks old from the outside, but what I found inside was amazing. Very clean room, nice view across the street. Very nice breakfast. My only complain is that my flight was delayed and my wife was joining me from another flight. She arrived earlier and checked in , when I arrived after mid night the lady in the front desk was not able to […] let me in. I explained, everything but she was not find her name. I was tired from the long flight and was frustrated by the situation. I wrote my wife full name on a pieces of paper and gave her to check agin. She kept on cheeking. It took 20 agonizing minutes to finally to find the name in the system. The morning staff were very helpful, they even helped me find a cab. Baca selanjutnya

You have to walk across streets from your room to the parking garage

The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly enough - it was tough checking in because there isn't really anywhere to just "leave" your car to check-in. Otherwise, the location was fine and the room was great - nice and spacious. Likely would stay there again.

I stayed there for 3 nights while on a business trip and was very impressed with the room. Very large and clean with so much walking around space. The staff were somewhat friendly as well, I had a bit of problem checking in, three staff behind the counter didn't acknowledge me for few minutes standing in front of them but eventually was checked in. […] The parking was a bit of a issue too because there are no parking spaces by the hotel and you have to walk to a nearby parking garage. My third hotel in as many nights, this one was a breath of fresh air. Front desk people were awesome, room was nice, and I could even open a window which is a rare treat these days. Only very minor complaints: pillows a bit over-stuffed for my liking, and the tub didn't drain properly. I'd be willing to bet that if the guest before me had mentioned […] the plumbing issue, as I did, it would have been remedied prior to my arrival. i enjoyed my stay,even as brief as it was ! On another note,i didnt like the service,the lady at the desk wasnt welcoming and some of the personnel speak inappropriately but as an overall concerning the room and the location,it is great !

Friendly staff, great location, comfy rooms.

This hotel is located in downtown Buffalo and right next to a free shuttle. We were going to a concert at HSBC and it literally took us 5 minutes via shuttle to get there. In addition, parking is free in a lot only about a block away. It was perfect for an overnight stay. The king suite we were in had a separate seating area in another room and 2 tvs. […] It was very spacious. My only complaint was that the thermostat did not seem to work right and we could not get the fan to come on. I would not recommend for families with infants as the shuttle does go by often and makes a rumble sound that could be disturbing to some. However, we are in our 20's and it did not bother us at all. Free breakfast was awesome as well! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling for leisure to the Buffalo area. Baca selanjutnya

I had been discouraged by earlier reviews about Comfort Suites but was pleasantly surprised by everything except the mediocre included breakfast. The staff was courteous and helpful and the accommomdations represented good value.

Spacious rooms; friendly, helpful staff; would definitely not pay double for higher-end suite hotel -- this is excellent value. I don't know much about the surrounding neighborhood so I just gave it a 3. We cabbed it to our meeting. Liked that there was a convenient TGI Fridays right there. Breakfast so-so but not a deal breaker.

In town to catch the Josh Gorban concert. Comfort Suites is on the tolley line which took us directly to HSBC Arena for free and back again! Service was great and the room was more then I expected.

I chose this hotel after reading reviews of comps in the area and am glad I did. Recently redone, the hotel is clean and fresh. The staff was very friendly and very accomodating with the free shuttle. The shuttle alone saves you the $33 cab fare from the airport. Breakfast was a bit on the light side but fine. Comfort Inn is right next to Chippewa Street with its restaurants. Near bus and train strations in Buffalo. Suite was nice but really not necessary; bed comforatble. Kitchen area was uiseful. Shutte took me to bus station.

Arrived at the train station, easy location, near grocery, post office tourist office. Staff was nice, helpful, wi-fi worked.

I was expecting less and got much more. The hotel is located right in the heart of downtown Buffalo, close to many restaurants and other attractions. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was also clean and up to date. The complementary breakfast was generous and of good quality. To make a long story short, my wife was pleased. She had nothing […] to complain about. This hotel is right by the theater district in downtown Buffalo. The trolley was just a block away. There is a TGIF within the same building as the hotel, but we opted for the Bijou Restaurant right down the street (no waiting to get in and good food). We walked to our theater and when the show was over there was a great little pizza parlor just one […] block away. Went back to our VERY comfortable bed. Very good location! TGI Fridays is very good that is attached to it! We didn't get to the breakfast because the bed was so comfortable we didn't get out! This is not the first time we stayed there but we will go back!

We were going to a Sabres game and this hotel was perfect. Right on the train line so transportation to the Arena was easy and parking was included in a nearby parking garage, so park and go! Room was spacious for 3 people, hotel was relatively quiet and comfortable. I would stay here again.

The rooms were clean, big and more then I expected. The price was great. Would recoment in a New York minute. The free breakfast was nothing special, but it was free and long hours.

My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Suites for our anniversary so that we were close to everything, and we were. I am glad I was with him and not traveling alone due to the situation of walking two streets over to the parking facility. We quickly checked in, and had no problem with the elevators. Our room was very spacious and the bed was better […] than mine at home! Two flat screen t.v.'s were great as well. Our only complaint was that the free breakfast was mobbed, food was picked over, things were a mess. We were in no hurry so we waited till things cleared up and found out that the poor woman working the breakfast was the only one on duty. We felt bad for her though. We had juice, yogurt and waffles because the fresh fruit and paistries were gone. I think the the hotel staff should re-layout the breakfast space and make sure things are stocked and that one person does not have to service a whole bus full of people. My husband and I would probably stay here again though. We had a great bed, free parking and free breakfast. 4 of us were staying in 2 rooms just for one night, the hotel has adequate off site parking. Inside the hotel seems a bit jaded and grubby, with the carpts of the corridors very dirty!!!! The rooms were fine, nice and spacious, but again very old fashioned. That said we all had a great night sleep, although it was a tuesday night!! The hotel was a below […] average and was served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery. Suite agréable, grande. Petit déjeuner très complet. Large choix de DVD en prêt gratuit. Situé sur Main street à deux pas du tram. Seul bémol : le ménage est fait vers 19h (bizarrerie). Très calme.

If you are looking for a few-days stay in Buffalo, it is the best choice. Good quality for a reasonable pricing. Staff is very nice and kind. Just in the center, 20 minutes by walk to any famous place.
