We chose this place because it was close to Fort Mead and to the Washington DC metro. Once we were there, we parked our car and took the metro. It was so nice not having to drive anywhere. When it comes to hotels, how well I sleep overrules every other evaluation criterion. I have stayed at nearly all the hotels in this area (Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn) and I sleep better here than anywhere else. Unlike the "fancier" hotels in the area, they don't have the super-thick duvets and feather beds that make you sweat all night […] long. I've stayed here probably a dozen times, and the staff is always professional and courteous and the rooms clean. The only downside is that there's not much to eat nearby, unless you like TGI Fridays. The room's redesign is questionable. The lights are far too dim in the washroom, and the lack of a second mirror in the sleeping room was either an oversight or something that was blatantly missed. Also, the hotel failed to provide me with a receipt when requested stating something to the affect that because it was booked on-line they cannot provide […] a receipt. A receipt from the hotel is needed for reimbursement purposes during my business trips. Fortunately, this was not a business trip. Room was very comfortable. Only king beds were available however. Doubles would have been better for our children, who were sharing a room. Beds were firm but comfortable. "Pleasantly surprise"
Was pleasantly surprise & worth the money. Will be back again. We only stayed the weekend but had kids & family there. Was centrally located near all of my family member & did not have to go further than one hour to meet any of them which was good.
