Hotel looks like a motor lodge so don't expect an immense lobby or pool. The room appeared dated but it appeared that the staff take great care to keep it clean and hospitable. I liked the size of the room and the fact that it had to separate rooms. Each room had a bed and a TV which makes it perfect for someone with kids. I was amazed at the cleanliness of this hotel room. First of all, it wasn't a hotel room it was a suite. It had a kitchenette, a king bed in a separate bedroom with an entrance to the bathroom, a full/queen bed in the main room. This hotel is older and you could tell. "Place to stay while dropping son off for college"
Gotta admit... I was pleasantly surprised. I saw the previous reviews and expected a dive. Well... not the greatest part of town... but... very close to the college. I was able to visit my boy, grab breakfast with him before I left the last day, and slept very comfortably in a very nice room. Front desk help was nice and helpful. Breakfast was sparse, […] but ok. Coffee hit the spot. I'm gonna have to buck the trend for the debbie downers about this place and say that this will be my hotel of choice when I go back to visit my son at college.
