The staff is very friendly and professional. The hotel has been renovated, but you can still tell that it's a bit on the older side. The floor in my room creeked in spots and the black-out curtains only covered the sides of the window. It was not designed to extend all the way across which I thought was very interesting. Luckily I was up early anyway […] so this did't bother me. But someone who is truely on vacation and wants to sleep in would have a hard time with the light shining in. This Days boasts being the highest rated in San Diego, and I see why. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pool/spa area was nice. The photography of hotel makes it appear much better then it really is. We were disappointed when we first arrived because of the pictures. Had we not expected better we wouldn't had been disappointed. The "kitchenette" is shared space with bathroom counter. They do a good job keeping it clean but well used. "Awesome, economical, convienent, comfy..."
Hotel is located in a convenient location staff was friendly and helpful. One of the eyes on the stove didn't work...maintenance came and promptly resolved the issue. Our room was exactly what we needed. The room could have been cleaner...dirt on walls. Our family enjoyed our stay and we are already planning out next vacation and stay at the Days Hotel...please […] don't get it confused with Days I@@. I forgot to mention the kitchenette was already supplied with a set of stainless steel pots and pans, silverware, a set of dishes, other cooking utensils dishwashing liquid...(I took my own because I didn't know) We had a great stay! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was comfortable; room had kitchenette but one stove burner didn't work at all. Excellent location. Pool and jacuzzi would have been very nice, but other guests were eating pizza in pool, though signs for no food etc were posted. Other guests using pool/jacuzzi were very loud and partying. Would have enjoyed […] those facilities more if guests were more monitored. Room service was good; room clean. Great rates. Easy driving distance (for guests with kids) to Zoo and SeaWorld.
