"Hyatt hotel in North Cross"
I don't usually write reviews but I've stayed in a lot of hotels and the Hyatts Place are just a cut above. Great room/suite layout for the same price you would pay at a holiday inn express for a regular room, absolutely fantastic service, modern classy furniture...honestly I'm always impressed...highly recommend it...

"Hyatt Norcross GA"
We have stayed at this particular hotel many times. However, on this trip, at some point between Tennessee, and GA I somehow lost my credit card. The front desk refused to let me check in without my card to slide. I offered to leave a cash deposit for the weekend, and they simply refused. After paying a month in advance for a 2 nights stay, needless […] to say I was angry, and we will not be returning to this hotel. We are here on an average of 2 times per month. "Hyatt Place in Norcross"
Spent two nights in this hotel while in Atlanta for a concert and some down time. Hotel was easy to find, albeit a bit of a drive from most metro Atlanta things if that's what you're looking for. Sits on a divided 4-6 lane highway that never seems to get terribly busy on the weekend as it is in the middle of a bunch of corporate office parks it seems. […] Traffic noise wasn't an issue at all. Location felt very safe and the parking areas were relatively well-lit. Check in was quick and painless and the staff seemed plenty friendly and eager to serve. Small bar with appetizer type foods at just about any hour (though it would appear it's all pre-cooked frozen stuff that's reheated). Never got up and moving fast enough to try the breakfast, but from what I could tell it's a fairly nice spread. Lobby area has some nice, comfortable lounge areas to sit and watch various TV's. Also has a business center with 2 computers and free use of a printer. Didn't get a chance to check out the fitness center. This was my first stay in a Hyatt Place hotel, so it may be the norm, but I found the room to be much more spacious than a typical king bed room in any other hotel. Upon entering, you see the room is divided in two, where there's a nice sitting area with a couch and large ottoman, nice desk space and small sink and bar with a mini fridge on one half, with the other half being where the bathroom, closet and bed are located. The fridge in my room didn't seem to function well, even after I turned the COOL knob all the way up it still kept my drinks just barely chilled. More like a wine cooler temp. Alerted the staff on checkout since it wasn't a big deal to me and they said they'd get it replaced. The very large (especially by hotel standards) HDTV appeared to be about a 42" and was located in the center of the room on a stand that allowed it to be swiveled towards the sitting area or the bed, which worked out great. very bad guest on both friday and saturday night. running up and down halls yelling. Saturday night guest two doors down smoking weed then ask to leave. I have stayed at Hyatt many times an this was completely uncalled for.

When my wife and I look for a hotel,one of the things we make sure of is that it is a non smoking one. We were having problems with other guests smoking cigarettes and illegal drugs on our floor. As soon as we put the complaint, Leslie at the front desk and the maintenance guy tried their best to take care of the problem. Due to not knowing which room […] it was coming from, they could do nothing. The next day when we got back from having fun in the mountains, the smell was stronger and we got to see which room was doing it. We again, reported the problem and Leslie, the supervisor or manager and the maintenance guy handled it so professionally. We were moved to a different floor and after calling the police, the guests were caught and kicked out of the hotel. Now, that's what I call customer service! We were all a team! The room was okay but I really expected more than a closet bathroom with a tub that was too small to sit in and no water pressure at all for the shower. The hotel advertises these beautiful luxurious showers but we didn't see any. The staff was knowledgeable but they seemed really rude. Maybe it was because my husband and I were only there for one night, […] we were in town for the George Strait concert. Everytime we passed by the front gallery, we were glared at. Even during breakfast we were constantly being glared at. Plus the hotel was very difficult to turn into. There is a grass median so you have to go down and make a u-turn to come back up and turn in. "overnight service"
The hotel only had one person overnight, who was expected to do everything all by herself. We had to wait to get our food prepared after midnight for 40 minutes because she was so busy with all the other guests. Our TV didn't work right away and she had to inform us the hotel had no maintenance staff to help us fix it. We eventually fixed it ourselves. "Pleasantly Surprised"
We were very pleasantly surprised with the Hyatt Place Hotel. The room was quite large and very well designed. The breakfast buffet was quite good and included some healthy choices. The fitness facility had very nice equipment. We were not expecting a facility as nice as this for such a reasonable price. We will stay here again when we are in the […] Atlanta area. "The Hotel Hyatt in Norcross, GA"
The handle on the middle draw iof the vanity was missing. This was brought to the attention of the desk clerk - however, it was never replaced during my stay of five (5) days.

My husband and I were making a trip to western N C. The Hyatt Place was perfect for us. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer. We were close to a wonderful seafood restaurant called Pappadeaux's. Complementary breakfast was well made and extremely ample. Would stay any time we're in the area and recomend to others as well.

Booked this room for New Year's Eve and was welcomed by a great staff. Once in my room I received a courtesy call from the front desk checking to make sure the room was to my satisfaction which I thought was a great gesture. I brought in food from outside of the hotel, but didn't have any plates or silverware. The restaurant in the hotel graciously […] provided me and my guest with everything we needed. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Room was supposed to be nonsmoking but had a definite, but light, smokey smell to it. Complimentary breakfast was fine but there wasn't much attention to refilling low items, etc. Overall a good stay.

"Doesn't compare to Perimeter Location"
The last time we were in Atlanta we stayed at The Perimeter Hyatt Place and chose this location this time around because it was cheaper.... I see why. The hotel was not nearly as well kept as the other location. The Perimeter location was in a much better, more convenient area. In addition we returned to our room late Saturday evening and there were […] no parking spaces available. Every thing was great,but when I asked for my recipt I was told that you would send it to me. I question this.
Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. We arrived late, 1:00 am, and was greeted very well at the front desk. The room was very large with a sleeper sofa. The sofa needed to be cleaned and was not very comfortable but the double beds were exremely comfortable. I liked having the sink outside the shower area which made it more accessable to everyone […] staying in the room. The shower could have been cleaner but overall it wasn't bad. CLean and nice hotel..Location is hard to find and signs are not visible form the streets...Nothing within walking distance. If you don't have a car you will be stuck in this hotel. Offers free WIFI that is even slower than a dialup modem...Breakfast was average with no hot items...
