They said it was a new location - new is relative. The rooms have been redone - but the rest of the building is falling apart. Location is SCARY if you can even find it under three highways - afraid our car would be broken into - and no where near Galleria-would take an hour to get there in rush hour. I understand the management is going to renovate these soon, but they should have done this along with the recent remodel. "Great Hotel"
I have nothing bad to say about the place. My finacee' and I were in town from Austin for a wedding.This hotel is quite new and the rooms are nice and modern. Everything about the stay was great. Bed was fine, bathroom was clean, hotel itself was clean. Not much of a view, but then again you're in Houston so I wouldn't expect one. Lol. The lobby bar […] was well stocked with a good variety of beers and liquors. The bartender, George, was excellent. He took great care of me even while being kept busy by a large wedding party.
