My stay was good. The only negative thing that got on our nerves was the internet. They only had wired internet and it had a permanent problem that our laptops could not connect to it. We got the manager's laptop in the end but that was lucky. I wonder why such a big hotel doesn't have wireless internet. Very nice

Hotel had parking, but 15 per day. No wireless inrternet (or at least not yet). Even wired internet was a pain to use. Cable signal was very poor, about 1/2 of the channels were very fuzzy. Supplies and towels were of very low quality although the room itself was great. It was like the hotel was high end before, but now they are cheaping out. Great […] location as well. the bathroom was not equipped with shampoo conditioner and any othe toiletries. the shampoo and conditioner and body wash were supposed to be in the containers but they were empty. Staff was quick to bring a bar of soap but the inconvenience was late at night . I would suggest a checklist for the cleaning staff.

Price for quality was well worth it. We did not want to be directly in the heart of the action and still wanted nice accomodations. This fit the bill to a tee. 8 rooms to a floor also gave it more of a private feel.

Enjoyed my stay thoroughly. during my stay, ALL staff were friendly. The bedroom was roomy, updated & clean. The beds were very comfortable & woke from a restful sleep! The restaurant serves delicious breakfasts. Hotel is central & surrounded by shopping and restaurants. Will be back again.

When we got to the hotel after booking online, we were told there was a $200 deposit on top of the room amount.. Not staying at a lot of Hotels we did not realize this. As we only have a prepay Visa, Summer from the front desk told us there was a Money Mart across the street that we could add money to the card. Money Mart was closed at 5 pm on Saturday. […] The hotel would not accept cash. Had it not been for a friend with a credit card we used we could not have booked the room, and would have missed our 20 year high school reunion. It said nothing online about the extra charges. My sister & I were given a corner room with a great view on 27th floor. Expected to get one queen bed but were given two! Room very clean and could not hear city noise from so far up. Were pleasantly surprised to see that room was equipped with mini fridge and bathrobes as well as a very nice closet. Great water pressure in shower! Hotel provided parking […] at reasonable rate in their own garage with anytime in/out permission. Only complaint is that the high-speed internet service was very spotty. Baca selanjutnya

My wife and I have been staying at the Blue Horizon for over 45 years every time we visit Vancouver. And the hotel still looks fresh, bright and modern as it did those many years ago. Location is great, rooms are BIG and clean, terrific views especially from about 12th floor up. Hotel is right in the middle of town with Robson Street shopping at the […] door and no more than 20 minute walking distance to theatres, Stanley Park, BC Place Stadium. we always stay at the Blue Horizon when in Vancouver as it is close to everything downtown (just have to step out the front door and you're at all the stores, restaurants and coffee shops) and very roomy for a family of 4. The view is always great also. Reasonable rates.

Hotel was clean and the price was right. Great location,right in the heart of Robson St. The parking is my only complaint, a little pricey. Other than that it was a good place to stay

Recently stayed 3 nights at the Blue Horizon. It was an excellent location for shopping and eating on Robson. Hotel was clean and quiet, service excellent. Short drive to other attractions such as Stanley Park and Granville Island. On site parking easy to use and reasonably priced. Only thing I would suggest is for property to get Wi-Fi for the rooms. […] Will definitely stay at the Blue Horizon again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in Vancouver. Pleasant and relaxing; close to shopping and food

My Niece recommended this Hotel and I wasn't disappointed. They graciously let me check in early and even gave me an upgrade. It was wonderful to be able to plug in my laptop and not pay any extra charges. The coffee was free and excellent and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a very nice room for a romantic get away! We had a balcony on the 21st floor and a very nice view of the port of Vancouver. The room was spacious with a bay window giving on two sides. The beds were comfortable. Large closet mirrors. Nice flat screen tv although we did not take a minute to watch movies. Very silent room. The only downside was […] the relatively small bathroom with the pink bath which is a little outdated. The hotel is downtown close to many restaurants and bars so a great location. Great place to stay-and pool, sauna and spa fabulous after a long day walking around. Worth remembering that British Columbia tax is quite high and there is a local hotel tax as well so price not quite as fabulous as it sounded but still worth it. Hotel is close to boutique shops and restaurants. The front desk catered to my requests without any problem, such as a room with a city view (facing Robson street - don't request this if you like having your window open while you sleep). Enjoyed the heated floor in the bathroom. I did not use the parking facility, but it's right beside the hotel. I have stayed at the Horizon most times throughout the years when I am in Vancouver I love the location; I love the hotel. The last stay was the first time I had a complaint and it was with whoever you have contracted for your movie set-up. Very confusing, and I'm sure it should be on record. Hopefully it will be straightened out as I am very leery […] now of trying out the movie feature. Otherwise, the Blue Horizon is my favourite place to stay. Robson is my favourite Vancouver street. great location, lots of shopping and dining within walking distance. Also a short walk to the waterfront (Burrard Inlet) great rate for a d/t hotel

We have been staying at the Blue Horizon for over 20 years and find it continues to be one of the best deals in town. Consistently clean and well-kept rooms and facilities, helpful staff, and great location with good transit service. On-site parking (though for a fee) also makes this convenient when traveling by car.

I booked this hotel online and then asked for the highest room possible when I arrived. I was accommodated with a room on the 28th floor. What a view! Loved it.

The staff is very friendly and helpful - always a good experience!

Very convenient location, 10 minute walk to centre of downtown Vancouver, 30 minute walk to the nature of Stanley Park. Location can't be beat.

Although the hotel does show it's age in places, I was very pleased with the accommodation and rate. The service was attentive, the room comfortable. The only complaint I have, common with many hotels, is the parking charge. It seems very penny pinching to charge drivers coming from out of town to park at the hotel.

Hotel is in a great location, easy walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants. Gastown and even Granville Market (although it's a little bit of a hike) are within walking distance. Staff was generally pretty helpful. The room was very large although the bathroom was pretty tight.

apart from finger prints of former guest on mirrored closet doors my stay was perfect. The front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was large with good amenities. Very comfortable. I will recommend to others and will return myself. Great location but quiet too.

Hotel was in the middle of Robinson St and a very happening location. Lots of shopping and restaurants. Although I found some hair on the floor of the bathroom, (not mine) it was clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and had recently been remodled. This hotel is ideally located for exploring Vancouver. All the sights are in walking distance and you are surrounded my great food and shoping. To add to the location, the rooms were fantastic. Overall a great place to stay

Of course I have lied in my survey answers..... It is all 5(very satisfied as always) as this hotel offers the very best value in Vancouver; B.C. I just hate to have Blue Horizon this best kept secret of Vancouver out in the open for my own selfish reasons.....

good hotel, comfortable room, bug tv with lots of channels, great restaurant, central location, close to shops and restaurants, would recommend.

This hotel has many issues. When we checked in, cups in the room were dirty and lavatory was partially clogged. Soon after we checked-out, I found I left my luggage in the room. I called them. We have already arrived in Victoria, so we changed the plan an went back to there to pick-up the next day. But, woman at front didn't know I called and also insisted […] that they didn't have my luggage. I asked her to check again, because I'm 100% sure that I left in the room. However, she just said that they have already checked. Later, I emailed to them. Front desk supervisor replied, and eventually they found and sent it to me. I asked him where he found my luggage, but he never response. I suffered discomfort, and lose time and money to go back to there. They have poor support, so I NEVER recommend this hotel.
