"Very Disappointed."
Although the bed linens were clean and the beds comfortable, this hotel was long past the need to replace carpets & paint. It would not be possible to clean the carpets as they were obviously very soiled. The hall way carpets were also soiled in places. The staff was pleasant but did not know how Expedia worked and so could not inform us of next steps […] when we were very unhappy with the state of our room. There was breakfast available but after the state of the cleanliness of the room we were not comfortable eating there as who knows the state of the kitchen. Stayed in room 205. The carpeting in the room has grease stains and other stains to the point we were un comfortable to walk in bare feet. Given the price, this was a good value. It was clean, and while the room was small it was adequate for our needs. It is close to Applebee's (just across the street) and it backs on to a fairly large shopping mall for those things you forgot. There is a SilverCity theatre about 1 km away. Brought 6 year old grand daughter along. Plan was to grab a swim in the morning before we went out for the day. Our little girl was terribly dissapointed when we were told the pool opened at noon.
