Here is the deal. It is a nice hotel, and the front desk guy was really nice. The beds are comfortable, but double beds not queen. That is not cool with 4 of us in the room with a couple and two older teens. The bathroom is need of updating, but okay. I really do not like the resort fees that everyone is charging now and this is definitely not a resort. […] $20 bucks a day for nothing to speak of. It is off the strip and the neighborhood is not nice. My son needed something from the store and we walked to three different stores that were all very sketchy. Walked passed several homeless people sitting on the sidewalk on the way to the strip as well. Next time we will stay on the strip. Overall the Westin is a great place to stay if you want something a little more toned down than the usual Vegas Mayhem. The staff were extremely friendly (including the Casino Dealers) and hotel was very clean and well maintained. The hotel is right next door to a convenience store (very convenient!) and just a block from the Flamingo Monorail platform […] making accessibility easy. We were involved in an event at Bally's for the week we were there, and this was a nice alternative to staying there. Overall, this is a great value for a really comfortable stay! Our stay was delightful.The only problem was that the bed was too hard for my wife. Our solution will be to bring a mattress pad with us the next time we com...We shall return because it is a wonderful hotel

The Hotel is conveniently located just a half a block from the strip. Very clean and wonderful staff throughout the whole hotel. Had a King size Bed and a view of the mountains & Venetian. When the large Ferris Wheel is up and running it will be a great view.. Thank you to all for my wonderful stay

If you want to avoid being in one of the mega-hotels on The Strip and avoid the crowds and chaos which goes with them, this is the hotel for you. Very friendly staff, comfortable rooms (especially the beds) and good location contributed to a very pleasant stay.

The hotel was appropriate for my trip. It was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. The roos do need updating some though also they need to be brighter. The wallpaper dates them and makes them darker. The casino was small and not what we expected we went to the larger one next door. The Westin is perfect for people that want to enjoy Vegas but at the same time come to a place that is not busy and over crowded. It is also not too far from the strip and walking could be a possibility if you don't mind a 0.4 mi walk. Lastly, the beds were so comfortable that I did not want to get up!

For a 3 night stay for first-timers in Vegas, the Westin truly fit the bill. Checking in late Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend, the room-type that I had paid for (upper floor city-view) must not have been available because we were put on the lower 5th floor. From what I have heard the rooms are all the same, so we didn't request to be moved. Later […] in the trip, when I brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, they waived our daily resort fee to compensate for the oversight. I would recommend requesting a room near the elevators for their convenience and relative lack of noise. Every single staff member that we encountered at the Westin was friendly and hospitable. They are a real asset. The rooms are adequate. Clean and comfortable. The lobby/casino area also seemed clean and quiet at all hours. The Starbucks in the lobby area was clean and convenient. The pool is quite small, but sufficient for cooling off or splashing around with kids. We did not eat at Suede, the hotel restaurant. The location was perfect for us, being Vegas virgins. It is located 1 block off of the Strip from the corner of Caesars, Bellagio, and Bally's. We walked everywhere! The location is smack in the middle of the strip - convenient to walk North or South of the Strip. A walking tip - walk through the inside promenade of Paris through Bally's to arrive outside less than 1/2 a block from the Westin. Hotel room was great and the staff most accommodating-very much appreciated the gratuitous late checkout allowance of 5 hours which made our 10:00 P.M. flight home not so hard to take!

Little disappointed that we asked for two beds and when we got there they were all booked up.they did upgraded us to a king size bed and a rollaway bed however the rollaway bed was too small for both kids to sleep in so one had to sleep on the floor. Next issue was in the bathroom,the baby was crawling and she picked up a big ball of hair that was under […] the open cabinet area. We stayed here for couple nights. Hotel is slightly off the strip what gives it much quiet atmosphere but still very close to all major attractions. Hotel itself was nice, small, with clean rooms. We got the special rate of $79/night what was appropriate. I would not like to pay much more though. They have 24/7 Starbucks what was nice :) They have pool, […] but its very small, it got full early morning. They have also hot tub, and all are open 24 hrs so it was nice for midnight swim. I can say that the hotel was well kept and the asthetics were on nice. I don't understand why my room was only cleaned once in four days. The beds were made and that was it. I assume that was not figured into the bogus "hotel amenities" charge for an additional $19.95 per night. As a Starwood Member, I tend to choose these hotels by default. However, in Vegas I had never thought to stay at this hotel until I saw how reasonably priced it was for the right-off-the-strip location. It was the perfect place to stay; convenient, comfortable, affordable. The service upon check-in was impeccable, and I was even allowed to check in […] a couple of ours earlier than stated. It wasn't too bad of a room. I would stay there again just because of the price and the cleanliness, but the online description was diseaving. They said it would have a mini bar and fridge, that def wasn't true. The bathroom is pretty small but overall for the location, the price, and the cleanliness it wasn't too bad.

This was a good hotel and certainly good value for the money. Location is central to the Strip without being directly on the Strip. Rooms, fitness facility and swimming pool are all a little disappointing. The spa facilities are exceptional, but this seems to be a secret they are keeping from clients.

over all every things good the only matter is the cost: I had bookrd through hotel.com . total cost was 937 $ .. when we arrive they inform us that there is additional fees 20$ every night . !! even we dont use hotel facilities.

This hotel is great. It's located just off the strip, a short 10 minute walk (max) to the strip. Since it's not on the strip, the common areas were quite welcoming - not too crowded or loud. The surrounding neighborhood left a little to be desired. It's quite rundown and felt somewhat unsafe, though we never encountered any problems. Not somewhere I'd […] want to be alone after dark. While the hotel location was off the strip I thought that the service made up for being slightly less convient. It was my daughters birthday and I told them that at the front desk when asked about our visit. A few minutes after we got to the room a birthday surprise was delivered, personalized for my daughter. Love the service.
