The room was hot and the air conditioner was set so it would not cool past 74f. It was cool outside and it would not bring outside air.

We liked the hotel, the services was wonderful, breakfast was great..the restroom was updated...the hotel was very clean. The bed was very old, tired and not comfy at all. The towels were very old, cheep and when we requested something extra before our check in, that request was not done. This is not the most luxurious of hotels, but very comfortable and clean. The beds were comfy, the pillows were not too fat (one of my frequent complaints), and things smelled nice. Quiet neighborhood and pleasant stay.

The staff at this hotel is outstanding. Obvious attention to detail. They are genuinely friendly yet professional. The staff is very responsive. The lady that takes care of the breakfast buffet bar is superb; and the maid staff is very thorough. The hot tub and pool are very well maintained (floor was a little slick) so the kids had to be extra careful. […] Linen is crisp and bright, beds are very comfortable. Housekeeping was very tidy, and the desk clerks were cheerful and helpful. The hotel is easily accessible to the freeways both to Beaverton and downtown Portland, but is far enough away to provide a very quiet environment. I slept very well.

The drain in the shower / tub was so slow that you were ankle deep in water. by the time you finished showering. The TV kept disconnecting with a (No Signal ) indication. So did the Wi-Fi. Other than these aggrivations all was. OK.

It was good. The place is clean, looks safe and not far from good restaurants. The hotel should consider adding a coffee shop in the premises. What they call the market is too small, expensive and with very few choices. A cafeteria will bring customers for many hours every day.

hotel nicely furnished, appreciated complimentary newspaper and candy in foyer, and also great choices at the continental breakfast. Just what we were looking for. Rooms neat and clean, nice swivel flat screen tv. Overall great value and location compared to more expensive hotels in Portland. Choices of restauants nearby.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful. The continental breakfast was FANTASTIC the best my kids and I have ever had at a hotel. Great price

We stayed here late (9 PM) on a Friday got the last parking space. They are in process of a large remodeling project in lobby; it was torn apart. Our room was recently remodeled and it looked very modern. But, they neglected to replace a very cracked sink. Imagine the bacteria growing in the cracks! They also left the original air conditioning unit […] and it ran and ran. The room was cool, but we couldn't turn off the noisy fan. The linens and pillows on the king bed were great, but the blanket for the pullout was thin and overly worn. We also could not close the drapes and the parking lot lights were very bright. After a long drive, this was not a great stay. The breakfast buffet costs $9 per person- I didn't know this before booking. The "friendly" staff was young, pretentious, and insincere. Nice hotel in a beautiful location. The swimming pool was nice, exercise equipment worked well, but would suggest a second treadmill.

we loved our stay, The front desk was so pleasant and took time to help very quickly. I was in the workout room and the remote was out of battery power. The front desk showed up in 1-2 minutes. They gave directions and advice about our questions re: Portland and what to see and where to park. We were very, very pleased with the room and the breakfast […] was delicious and fillling. The hotel was fine and what I expected. The breakfast was good and bigger than I expected (most continental breakfasts dont include hard boiled eggs, which I was pleased to see). The only negative is the check-in guy was ok, not overly friendly, and he tried to place me in a ground level room. Since I was traveling alone, I wanted to be placed on a […] higher floor. Though we had some problems finding it (we didn't have clear directions and turned the wrong way) everything was great about our stay. This will be our Portland hotel from now on!

All personnel were outstanding. Our night in room 325 were interrupted by cycling of heating unit; our next nights were perfect. Very much enjoyed the firm mattress.

Enjoyed our stay - was easy to attend the opera and park at a lower fee after 6. Enjoyed Gubancs for dinner which was not far away. Lots of other places to eat also.

Bathroom was EXTREMELY small with no shelves or counter top for storage of soap and other items. Really unbelivable for the price they charge. The frontdesk folks were nice and room was clean but look elsewhere unless you like being cramped.
