We (family composed of 2 adults & 2 children) stayed in swiss-in KL in china town; check-in was smooth but rooms were not connected and were very far from reception (had to take two lifts and pass thru a controlled gate on 2nd floor,...etc.). The hotel location is superb in the middle of chinatown & a 5 mins. walk from a main bus station (Putrajaya). […] We didn't enjoy a view from the rooms (back view) but rooms were comfortable & adequately spacious despite there was no in-room safe . Cleanliness may be a question mark and house keeping may be lousy. I reported that we found cockroches in both rooms, next day one room was not cleaned up (!). the booking was for a family room for 3 , turns out that they had converted an deluxe room into a family room by adding another bed. In all there were 3 beds, the T.v just had about 4 channels, the complementary wifi connection was very slow. At times no one responded on the operator or customer care number. the room was cleaned to satisfaction daily. […] if you are looking for a spacious accommodation, then give this place a miss. if on budget, i recommend you book for a day or 2 and they extend ur booking if you are comfortable with the place. Walls were wet n moldy, if i wanted to i could put my foot through the wall. The shower was filthy and there was no hot water, the type of shower you want to wear sandles in. Sheets had a few peoples hair in it. I could go on but thats enough

I expected hotel would be so bad but in fact, the service was same as 5 stars hotel. I paid CAD$39 without breakfast a day but they offeredevery breakfast and it was good. If I need anything, they just brough right away. when I checked out at 5 am, they prepared sandwich for me. it was surprising. overall, compare to price, it was actually great :)

We used this hotel for one night, arriving around midnight after a long flight and left at 9am to catch a bus. For this purpose it met all our needs. If we were staying in Kuala Lumpur any longer then the lack of window, and noise from neighbouring buildings would seriously put us off staying here again.

I stayed in Swiss Inn around five nights and was very content with the place. The staff was very helpfull, it was clean and the breakfest was good. I saw that many said that it was small rooms, and that they had no windows. That is true, but I did not consider that to be a problem. Also I found out that it was a smoking-room, and I was concerned since […] I am allergic, but it was no problem so I didnt ask the staff for a change. I would stay there again for sure. Best location to move around and see KL . The hotel staff were very cool and experienced.

Third time at this hotel. Previous twice were great but this time the room had no window and there had been an obvious overflow from the shower area onto the carpet, leaving the whole room with a strong musty smell. Most unpleasant.

room stinks of cigarettes and toilet doesn't flush... their solution is to make me wait a long time for maintenance and use an ionizer. room is also very, very small. breakfast was good though... just about the only thing saving this place.

2 females on a shopping, beauty and spa holiday. We absolutely loved the Swiss Inn. We had stayed at another hotel in KL, flew off to Bangkok, then returned. Just before flying out, we went looking for a hotel. Went into the Swiss Inn and it was busy. It was fully booked for the time we needed. We then proceeded down the road to an internet cafe and […] booked online for cheaper than they could have offered (BONUS). Front side of hotel is easily found. Quite busy, but manageable. The back of the hotel goes straight into the Chinatown markets. This means first afternoon you can take a look around, check out prices, then go back the next day with your bartering face on. The hotel itself was good. The only thing that would prevent me from taking my family back is the fact it doesn't have a pool. A pool is cheap fun that would entereain my children for a good 2 hours a day. Breakfast is great. Loved this hotel! Such a great value. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The location is a very short tuktuk ride from the Old Market, Pub Street and the Night Market. We didn't do much walking around the immediate area because tuktuks were so convenient. No elevators but the staff carried […] up all our luggage and brought it back down when we left. Also got my laundry done there (paid by item) and it was returned the very next day nicely folded and clean - total cost wasn't that much. HIGHLY recommend for your visit to Siem Reap! Hotel is considered cheap.. And it is convenient for tourists who like to shop for cheap stuffs.. As Chinatown is just at it's doorstep.. Breakfast was okay.. But in one of the room we stayed in, the bedsheet is not very clean as it still has stains on it.. But I assume most hotels have this problem.. Extreme good locality in china town, offer good by gain for money and shopping need . Central market is about 10 minutes walk . I found it good for money if you are traveling in a family

I got a deluxe room in the old wing. It was a bit cramped, but I doubt you can expect much more from a downtown hotel. The location was amazing with great access to the nearby LRT system and amazing hawker stalls just outside the door. The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole package was definitely worth more than I paid.

Extremely happy with the Swiss Inn. Great location in centre of China Town and close to LRT. Great buffet breakfast. Will definitely stay there again. Have 2 young children so it would have been nice to have Disney or Cartoon Network.

Well I have no problem with my stay. I did read on the reviews and some are bad reviews which made me think to cancel my reservation but I was surprise there was nothing like it was described. Maybe those guest have too high expectation. The staff are warm and friendly too. The Swiss Inn in China Town is a reasonably priced hotel for what you get , its a little bit between 2 LRT stations so you will have a wee walk to do or take a taxi. Lots of food vendors close by and some chain fast food resteraunts , a starbucks too if thats your thing. My room was pretty ok , one thing i didn't like was that it didn't have a window […] !! so when the lights were off it was pitch black , doesn't make it easy for waking up . The bed was comfortable , sheets clean , towels were of a decent quality , tv had about 10 chanels ( 5-6 in english ) , tea and coffee facilities, fridge . had everything you'd expect . The staff were always polite and friendly and a newspaper was availble everyday also . Breakfast was basic but good . I'd stay there again , but i'd ask for a room with a window . Baca selanjutnya

Swiss Inn was very central to Chinatown. The room was not plush, but well equipped, comfortable and clean. Staff were excellent and very helpful.

Location is good but room is small and no window. Wifi inside room always break down, the breakfast is common, the staff is not helpful

This hotel is located in crouded and dence China Town market. In the room I was staying, shower was not working, Wash basin sink was not draining water and worse .. toilet sheet is just next to entrance door of 4'x4' bathroom ! This is the cheapest hotel in town, and as you would expect, it is one of the worst. There is a bed and a tv with a handful of channels. WIFI was down about 90% of the time. Didn't even try the shower. Breakfast is mediocre. Probably the worst thing about the hotel is the Chinatown location. There are about 2000 stalls that all sell the same crappy […] $1 t-shirts and dvd rips. After about 5 minutes I was sick of the place and actually didn't buy a single thing, despite the "bargains". Every one of the 2000 vendors will yell at you to buy their garbage and charge about 10X more than its worth. In general Kuala Lumpur is a filthy ugly city where everyone you meet is trying to gauge you out of your money. I recommend skipping the city and its crooked taxis altogether. Baca selanjutnya

Room was clean & modern. Only complaints are that there is no place to put anything (no drawers, 3 hangers under a little shelf) but not a big deal if only there for a night or two; and there is no window so when you get up, you have no idea if it's sunny or raining. Not sure whether I'd recommend it. The location was good I've to say however the standard room was a cubicle and the toilet seat was in a position that it'd be difficult to be used by taller or overweight people. Luckily I'm neither both of them. If you travel on you own, better ask for deluxe should you stay there more than 2 days.

The hotel lobby was small and simple yet as we entered we were greeted by smiling and very accommodating staff. Immediately we were given our room assignment and directed to our room. The room was just right with 3 beds, complete with television and refrigerator. The TV however only had very limited stations - no cable. So , we had to make do of whatever […] was on TV which was mostly Malaysia programs and 3 US stations - sports and movies. The food however was very good and the waiters were very friendly. Location was perfect as it was really in the busy Chinatown area which had a lot of shopping areas and restaurants. Good value for money.

Even though the hotel is situated in Chinatown, it is quiet and peaceful. The breakfast served is beyond my expectation. Location is perfect for us who travels on Public Transport! We will be back ;)

Would say i get my money's worth. Just that when my daughter's toy went under the bed, it get's so dirty. Maybe they can do more on their cleanliness!!!

If you like to shop those can bargain then you should stay here and if you looking for Chinese food is there too ! Cheers !

Definitely a top choice for Chinatown KL. Lots of places like temples & Central Market nearby. Plaza Rakyat LRT station is a short walk. PLENTY of food right outside the hotel. The location of the hotel is very good as it is right next to the Patalia Market and within walking distance of Little India. Furthermore, KL central is not far away and you can easily get around. The hotel itself is something different. Service is very poor and I had to spend a lot of time talking to their staff. They promise free wireless internet, […] but it doesn't really work. Furthermore, they tried to charge me extra for two water-bottles at check-out, and refused to listen to me. We booked a deluxe room and were very sattisfied with the room, location, breakfast buffee and the price we had to pay for it. We had some trouble with communicating with the people in the front desk but since we didnt really have anything to complain about, it was ok. They were just very busy.

Don't stay here if you're looking for anything more than a bed and a shower, it's just not that kind of place. There is a steep gradient in the room condition and cleanliness between the old and new wings of the hotel. Upon arrival we discovered the room was small, poorly maintained, noisy and could only be reached by a labyrinthine set of hallways […] and elevators. We asked if we could get another room but nothing was available. After looking at another nearby hotel we decided to check out and take the one-night penalty. When we arrived at the front desk with our bags to check out, we were shown a newer room which was much nicer, although still very small. The noise from the next-door hostel's rooftop bar kept us awake until 3am. The next morning we changed hotels. The good aspect of this hotel is the excellent service, the staff were polite and accomodating. The air conditioner in our second room was leaking and the maintenance staff corrected the problem very quickly. The breakfast buffet was good, nothing out of the ordinary, but that's a buffet breakfast. It was better than many I've seen. The location is good if you enjoy Chinatown. One of the hotel entrances is on Petaling Street, the major Chinatown market for tourists, and it's not far from the old Central Market. This hotel might be good for backpackers or casual travellers who aren't looking for much beyond a bed and a hot shower. I got a room in the new wing, so I can't speak for the old wing, but this room was great. I had to finagle with the a/c unit to get that just right -- it had been blowing right onto the bed, and it took me a few minutes to figure out how to adjust the louver with the a/c remote. The room was clean, fresh, new, the location is terrific, right there […] in the heart of Chinatown. It was a bit loud on Friday night when the drummers were outside banging away, but that was over by 9:30. The staff was very helpful, answering my questions, the breakfast buffet was great.
