This is a very nice hotel very close to Times Square and public transportation. The one problem is they do not have enough elevators and the 2 they have are very slow. On the positive, large (especially for NYC) rooms and clean. Stayed for 4 nights and was very comfortable. Location is brilliant 1 block from time square. Not cheap but cheaper than most other places in midtown and with much bigger rooms. Not so positive - Need to allow extra 20 minutes to get in to or out of hotel as lifts are pathetically slow. At […] busy times, it's much quick to take the stairs, even from the 15th floor. WI-FI restricted to one device per access code which is unhelpful. I've stayed here many times; a superb location. I like to stay here on trips with friends as they usually have availability for rooms with two double beds. Stayed 10 nights and was so pleased I did. My room was on 17th floor and consisted of a kitchen area with microwave and small fridge. No eating utensils but these can be purchased around the corner from grocery. Fantastic and a little quieter area but so close to everything 2 min walk to time square and all the theatres. I did walk to central park and […] Macy's and noted that the hop on hop off bus was around the corner if you like that sort of thing. Bathroom was a little small but great for one person. All staff polite and helpful. Lots of restaurants in both directions. Yes the elevators are a little slow but no problem. My only concern would be the noise of the air conditioning, if you were a light sleeper it would definately keep you awake. I would definately go back. The staff was helpful. The hotel is old but pretty well maintained. The elevators are incredibly slow to the point we took the stairs a couple of times from the 14th floor. I would stay there again for a theatre marathon if I catch it on a special deal again.Ulasan tetamu Hotels.com yang asli

The Belvedere is definitely in a great location! Was there 2 nights, and had to park my car, for a total of $650, which I think is too much. As everyone states, the elevators are a problem, I was on the 5th floor so I usually just took the stairs. The front desk and doormen are very friendly! The hotel is old and could use some updates. Stay some where else! There was way to much furniture for such a small space (more like a closet). The bed had divots the size of pot holes in it where you sleep. Great alternative to big name hotels. Oldish hotel, but rooms have been renovated. Great to have microwave and fridge in room. Fitness room is quite good. Having travelled in from overseas at night, we found the Hotel and the room quite comfortable, almost an oasis, as most of the reviews indicated. However, by morning the noise of the delivery trucks was quite disturbing as the room was located on the street side. We asked for a change of room and we were offered another room quite unlike what we had […] paid for, It was smaller, more cramped and uncomfortable. We could clearly hear the noises in the room next door. The staff were adamant that the room was the same size and equipped the same way. The argument ensued over night until I showed the copy of the reservation and pointed out the differences in the dimensions and how the room was equipped. A manager finally allocated another room. By then it was the third night of my five night stay. We still argued to have a comfortable chair placed in the room which finally came on the fourth evening. This ruined what may have been a most pleasant stay. However, the hotel is conveniently located- for business or sight seeing. The environment felt quite safe. "Best Location ever"
The location was really great, just a few blocks from Time Square. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The only problem was there were no dishes to go with the kitchenette. I asked at the front desk for two bowls and two spoons so we could have cereal and yogurt for breakfast. The items […] were sent up to our room in no time. A few times one of the two elevators was out of service which made for a little wait to get to your room.
