Although the booking was accompanied by pictures of spacious rooms with large beds, my room was the size of a cupboard (literally 40 cm between wall and bed) and the bed rather small for two persons. Wifi was available but the connection was lost often (<1mb download on my mobile device). Room description said dvd & cdplayer, but those weren't there, […] only a tv with very pixelated, unwatchable channels. Neither was there sunlight or a view, and the toilet did not flush adequately, On the positive side, the hotel lobby was charming, and the service by the friendly staff was excellent. It's our first time in London and South Kensington is just beautiful. The neighborhood is very clean and the hotel is conveniently located just minutes from the train station. Upon walking in, we were greeted by a very professional and pleasant staff who welcomed us with a warm smile. The check in area mimics a beautifully decorated victorian home, […] very warm. While we were being checked in, we were asked if we would like something to drink. I thought we would get a glass of water but there was quite an impressive selection. We had a choice of wine, champagne, tea, etc. and if we wanted it could be brought to our room. That was nice. The room again was beautifully decorated with the victorian feel and most importantly it was clean. We were very happy with our stay! Oh, if you need a cab, they can call one for you but I recommend walking to the street and get one yourself. We had the hotel call a cab for us and I guess maybe it's because he's self employed but the cab ride back to the train the station was double than what it was from the station to the hotel. 5 mins walk from Gloucester Rd tube station, this was a great place to stay and explore london. My only gripe was the wifi internet access was intermittent at best and there was no facility to purchase movies to watch. Otherwise great though

This is an awesome little hotel. For less than you would pay to stay in a holiday inn, you get a charming room with a comfortable bed, wonderful service, in a nice neighborhood. The Cranley is an exceptional hotel in a row of beautiful white houses on a quiet street. The lobby area is personal and well decorated, it feels like a comfortable sitting room. The room we had was spacious and well decorated, everything was really clean and well taken-care of. There were a few nice extra touches that we enjoyed like heated towel racks […] and complimentary drinks and canapes in the evenings. This is a great hotel in a quiet area of London, great for exploring Kensington and Chelsea as well as being easily accessible because of the nearby tube stations. Baca selanjutnya

The staff were more than helpful and do a magnificent job maintaining this old and run down hotel The location is great in a very quite street no traffic noise Walk less than 2 blocks in any direction and there are plenty of pubs and cafes the bits that disappointed us and no fault of the staff was the floors are wood and a couple of times we thought […] the people above us were going to crash through the floor. The carpets are that old there where long threads sticking out. The curtains had major rips in them like the rats had got at them. the wood around the bath was rotten and to get a coffee you had to ring room service which added to the expense Coffee and Tea making in your room I would think the norm these days It would not take much in the matinance area to freshin up this hotel and make it a true 4 star Congatulations to the staff for trying to present this old hotel Baca selanjutnya

The reception area is traditional and in keeping with the house - the first floor reception rooms of a Kensington town house. The room was disappointing - I find it difficult to criticise in comparison to other hotels because I do not usually stay in hotels like this and am aware the rate was at the lower end of the scale for upper end 4* hotels but […] as general comments: the outer door did not lock, the heavy inner door slammed noisily, the bathroom was 'ok', but a bit dated and the shower was poor. (A plus was the Penhaligons shampoo and bath gel). The room was furnished as you would expect an average family townhouse to be, but the furntiure was scratched and the curtains frayed a litlle stained. The room seemed clean, but for example, the white duvet cover had large blue marks that looked as if they had come from being washed with something navy. The windows are drafty wooden sashes. The TV display, strangely, was in reverse. It wasn't exactly grubby, and one couldn't expect a traditionally furnished hotel to have gleaming, spanking new furniture...it just comes down to individual preference. From a hotel room, I would rather have less tradition, more comfort, cleaner lines and less wear and tear. I wasn't reluctant to get out of bed and leave the next morning... Baca selanjutnya

We loved our stay at the Cranley in early October. The attentive staff made sure our needs were always met, the room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the location, a quiet street in one of London's best neigbhorhoods, yet close to everything including terrific restaurants and shopping. Would return in a heartbeat.

Small hotel, excellent service, timely response to all requests..excellent location for Kensington, Chelsea and Kinghtsbridge venues, Some rooms very small..some quite ample. Decor quite nice. Small lobby and reception. Former townhomes. adequate and prompt room service only..no restaurant. be aware that there is no guarantee re prequested rooms.... […] a big disappointment upon arrival. A caveat : Important to understand the difference between their "superior" and "executive" terms .. gracious, quiet,, small .,.great location helpful staff.. not included breakfast OK....rooms beautifully decorated if a bit small.. larger rooms available. ..like being in a private home...

The Cranley is a nice place with everything you expect - almost. The one drawback is the lack of a breakfast room. Instead, you get a rather spartan breakfast in your room. the secoind morning =, we went to the Pret a manger nearby and had breakfast there instead.

I picked the area based on access to the tube, to Heathrow, the city etc, and previously stayed with a chain hotel around the corner....well I won't ever stay anywhere else again. The staff at the Cranley were professional, friendly and took every opportunity to provide service above and beyond what was necessary. Hotel is in very good location, just minutes walk from tube station and shopping/eating/going out places. At arrival we were checked in into a tiny room (barely any space to walk around the bed or put your luggage) that had windows looking out onto a kitchen extraction fans, so as soon you opened the window you knew what was cooking. After request for […] another room, we were without any problems bumped up to another room of higher standard free of charge. This room was much more reasonably sized and with a wiev. They call it the business class room I think, and if you are after comfort go for this, if you came for weekend out and about in London the smaller/standard room would be fine. Hotel does not have a restaurant and the room service prices are rather on expensive side, which is not a big problem considering plenty of options around to go and eat. My wife and I spent 4 night at the hotel in mid October 2009 due to a friend's recommendation. We were positively surprised at the charm and comfort of the hotel. We found the hotel to be on a quiet street in a great neighborhood. It was as if we had a room in a friend's house. Our room was an executive room which was very roomy even to American standards. […] The bathroom was on a large side as well. The hotel has an optional breakfast that is served in the room. We didn't take advantage of that. It also has a complimentary afternoon tea (my wife enjoyed it) and evening champagne/appetizers (which i enjoyed). Staff was very nice and always eager to help. The only suggestion is to replace the TVs with larger screen ones and add more channel selection on the TV. We would certainly go back to the hotel next time we're in London. Baca selanjutnya

Dejligt lille hotel, som virker meget hjemligt og hyggeligt. Især deres service med champagne på værelset om aftenen, inden man går ud. Dog var morgenmaden noget kedelig.

Hôtel cosy à l'anglaise. Très bon emplacement, accueil excellent, on a aimé la coupe de champagne autour de la cheminée, on avait l'impression d'être chez soi.

休暇で女性一人で利用です。カーペットのシミやベッドヘッドの汚れ、長年の浄化があまりキレイに行われていないので、気配に気を使う場合はトイレ以外はあんまりいい感じはしないです。部屋によると思いますので、キレイに使っている部屋にたまたま信頼があれば良い効果もありますが、私の通されたお部屋はあまり気が良くありませんでした。 朝食もパンのみ（飲み物付き）で１０ポンドはそれほど高くありませんが冷たく、美味しいものではありませんでしたので、食事は外出が良いと思いますが、これといって、徒歩０分エリア（１ブロックの範囲）にはそうしたショップもなく、面倒な方はあまり行動が出来ない等の意味で近隣の環境は２ですが、静かさでは誇りを持ってお薦めできるエリアで、何もないのが良い人には必ずともそうはいえません。iPodの […] ドッグがあったので、充電できる利点以外はアメニティがゴージャスですのでそれは足りていると思います。親身のあるスタッフと多少言葉尻が悪くても精一杯もてなしをしようと言う気持ちは伝わって参りますが、全体、可もなく不可もない感じでほとんどを３としてお勧めするほどには評価しませんでした。 Baca selanjutnya

Malgré notre chambre situé dans l'entresol, nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Tout était parfait y compris le petit déjeuné.

Very small and very nice hotel. Clean and nice size rooms, and great service. If you need something, they'll fix it. Ten minutes walk down to Fulham Rd and 15-20 minutes walk to Stamford Bridge. Few minutes away from Glocester rd. tube station.

un hotel confortable, propre avec de grandeschambres ( pour londres). quartier calme a proximite du metro et des bus reliant oxford circus en 15/20/minutes. Acceuil sympathique et disponible. un tres bon restaurant indien a coté. un seul manque pas de pkg mais la possibilite d' un pkg payant (assez cher) un hotel à recommander'
