Nice hotel with good location. Room we stayed in was without view but the beds were comfortable. Good housekeeping and the service from personal was excellent!

i spent so much time trying to make sure that I chose the perfect hotel. I would think that I found one then I would get caught up in reading the opinions of other past guest of that hotel, and then thought that I may be making the wrong choice. I spent days doing this. The GREAT news is I went with one of my first choices. The Paramount Hotel was a […] great decision. From my first interaction with Natalie at the front desk to the driver who drove me on my departure date from the hotel to the airport was so much more than I expected. I never once had a negative thought or an issue come up that could have put a cloud over my what was a perfect visit. I arrived early, but was allowed the courtesy of an early check in. The buffet breakfast was an experience that you did not walk away from thinking I wish they would of had something they did not have. The staff was assertive, polite, and a pleasure to be greeted by first thing in the morning. If going to the theatre is something you plan on doing while in NY there is no better choice for you to decide to stay. I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about my visit at the The Paramount. I am actually booking another stay in late May at The Paramount. Do not do what I did and waste your time going back and fourth it will eventually drive you crazy, and make everything a blur. Hip lobby, liked the Dean & DeLuca's next door, convenient block west of Times Square. First time in a Queen room without a desk/credenza, though.

this hotel was brillant,having never visited new york before i was nervous about the location,but as we found out had no need. we were about 30 seconds walk from times square and 4 blocks away from from the sub way (5 mins walk) the staff were brillant and the concierge incredabley helpful,as i had excersions planned and wanted directions. the rooms […] were small but very clean and the beds amazingly comfortable as hotel beds are not normally nice.If you come to new york for the size of you room, find something else to moan about... anyone who complaines is WAY to fussy lovely hotel, will definatly visit again.x Baca selanjutnya

My only complaint - and it's a very small one - is that the TV didn't work in that all that was available was promos for pay movies. When in NYC, I like to watch the local NYC channels, so normal cable service would be much appreciated. Other than that, it was GREAT, top notch!

I call the 1800 number to get a reservation the person that answer was so nice, I told him that I'm taking my girlfriend into the city for her BDAY and that I had tickets for Superman and., I was not sure where to bolok a hotel and he have me your location and he was right on LOVE IT SHE WAS SO HAPPY !!!!! for sure we will come again and I think my […] sister is booking a reservation for something for weeken for her and Ray. The perfect hotel in Times Square. LOVE this place!

This hotel is in a good location and by enlarge it was a nice place to stay, but the hot water supply is below standard with regular cold showers and very poor water pressure at the shower head. Due to no hot water, maintenance was call and came promptly and said it should not happen and went away to do something, but still the problem remained and […] we had luke warm and one of us still had a cold showers. The cheaper room is absolutely impossible to stay at. Its tiny! There is no space for anything, even for the luggage. I upgraded for a bigger room and it is still small. Than I went to a 2 double beds and it was ok. I wonder the suites are great. The location is amazing. They have a dean and delucca inside de hotel wich is very convenient. Ok place but can do better. I was here on business and found my room lacking furniture - like a desk! Hallways are very dark and room was very sterile - like a vacant dorm room. Lobby and bar are nice but watch out they automatically add on tips.

The location of the hotel is amazing. 2mins from time sq is ideal for anyone trying to get around to the sights and sounds of nyc. On arrival we where told that are room was not ready and that there was around 30 people awaiting rooms. Dont rush back the clerk said which i thought was suprising but it was mid day so we went for lunch. The rooms are […] very small. Had a perfect view of nothing and there was a ipod docking station missing from are room. The tv wouldnt work nor did we find a remote use the functions of the tv. The air con quite load and doesnt always work on command. The first night we sat down at the libary bar and where greated by thomas who asked did we want drinks. Nothing special about the table and overlooked the lobby. I asked for a coffee or tea to which he snapped back that there was none served at the bar although i ssen a lady at the bar with a cup. We said we would think about it to which Thomas gave us 2 maybe three minutes. Again we told him we where ok to which he said people where coming and we had to move. I found this very rude as the bar was apart of the hotel and we where paying guests. I noticed people using similar tables to use the internet in the lobby. It put a very bad taste my mouth and would not reccomend going to the libary bar. You must pay for the wifi in the room and there is no tea or coffee provided but to be honest there was very little room to make anything anyways. There is also a asian man who walks around who always looks angry. I went to use the toilet in the lobby to which he put his hand out and shouted another time. Overall i would only recommend this hotel for a guys or girls holiday. I dont think its ideal for couples. The staff and service let it down as it is a beautiful hotel and a perfect location. The room was too small to almost turn around to scratch your head. It was clean but more than two nights staying there you would go crazy.

The Paramount is location in the heart of Times Square, great location. However, the rooms are extremely small and the logistics of the room are troublesome.

We wanted a hotel near the show so we wouldn't have to walk far. It was perfect! Right on restaurant row, everything was in the area. And only four blocks from the bus depot. We will stay here again!

Hello May I just say the hotel was extremely accomadating, the staff were extremely polite and kind, the housekeeping were exceptional all in all an amazing hotel and already planning a trip back. Thanks paramount hotel for the amazing job you do! Keep up the good work

Can't beat the location (Times Square) and ease of access for subway and taxis. My room (an upgrade) was tiny - as in I could almost touch both walls while sitting on the middle of my bed. The bathroom is also very small with no shelf space for toiletries bag. Heater/air conditioner is loud ( as are many in NYC). Had a glass of house Cabernet in the […] bar for $19. That's ridicululous even for Times Square. No comp Internet (almost a right these days) and very cheesy lobby decor. They got you and they act like it. I was attracted to the Paramount because of the location (off Times Square) & the fact that a Dean & Deluca coffee shop was off of the lobby. After looking at the web site, I liked the quirky modern feel of the lobby. When I arrived, I was impressed with the ambiance of the lobby. The high ceiling made the space feel uncluttered, even though there […] were numerous groupings of chairs making up intimate seating areas. The asymmetrical staircase, leading to a landing with a pristine white baby grand piano, is the focal point, with candles marching up the outer edge of the staircase itself. Also prominent is a silvery, large, modern, sort of space age statue of what appears to be a friendly beast, possibly an alien? But what really ties the ambiance together is background kaleidoscope of ever-changing, never repeating music. It has a mind expanding feel; I would describe it as chill/trance music. It makes the hotel feel really modern to my 50+ year old ears. I don't want to forget to mention the HUGE chandelier hanging up high in the center of the room. With its million crystals, it also had a distinctly modern feel. Its shape is organic, and you can also appreciate it from the second floor, which wraps around the outside of the lobby. There are tables & chairs which circle the open space overlooking the lobby on the second floor. People inhabited every other table singly & in groups, often with thier laptops open. It is a comfortable area, which allows you to take in the ambiance of the modern lobby below, which, likewise, is populated with smart young things & thier laptops. I wound up eating at the "Library" restaurant/bar on the second floor, facing 48th Street. The view is very limited, but the ambiance of the "Library" is relaxed. The food was good, although the selections were meager. Now to the rooms themselves. They are tiny, but again, tastefully decorated with a modern feel. This hotel was an absolute bargain for the location! People complain about the size of the rooms, but come on folks - it's New York! How much time are you spending in your hotel? I stayed alone in a little cozy room on the fifth floor and it was perfect. I walked everywhere I needed to go in Midtown West. Times Square is less than a block away. It's […] a less than 10 minute walk to get to Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue, Bryant Park, MoMA and countless others. Central Park and the Empire State Building are both less than 20 minutes walk. Perfection. There are at least three or four subway stops within four blocks. Very good location because you are steps away from the tourist spots. The room is not like the ordinary hotels but it will do for two people who will be using the hotel room only to sleep. The room that we got was newly renovated and comfy. I will definitely check in again on my next visit.

The room was TINY, maybe a 10x10. The radiators where making lots of noise which kept my fiance and I up all night and the parking was $60 per day because theres no street parking. On a positive note: The hotel was in a prime location and the hotel is modern and sheek.

Uniquely located boutique hotel with flair and character!

This place is a disgrace. Our room was already taken despite being paid for over 2 weeks in advance, and we were instructed to accept a smaller room with sepearate single beds for my wife and I without apology or compensation. Apparently the hotel is completely full. I am beginning my fight for fairness tomorrow, so far the management has made it clear […] that they couldn't care less. AVOID THIS AWFUL PLACE. Convenient location. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice atmosphere lobby, with music all day round. Free WiFi and iPads as well! Very small wardrobes! Inconvenient shower. Noisy-double windows would have been better. No refrigerator in the room.

Even though I knew my room was going to be super small, I was mentally prepared. However, because the room was small, the head of my bed was right next to the room air conditioner / heater unit. It made SO MUCH NOISE that I basically did not get any sleep. I was not able to turn it off. This was the smallest room I've ever stayed in—even smaller than other hotels in midtown Manhattan. But it was well-appointed and stylish, and the staff was very friendly. And the location can't be beat.

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. The hallway on our floor smelled like a dirty diaper. It was disgusting.

This is a great hotel with great decor and ambiance in the lobby and bars. I would recommend to anyone seeking a quality stay in NYC.

Love this old New York/Hollywood glam style hotel!Great atmosphere...you get a nostalgic feeling in the super cool hotel.Old 20's charm with nicely renovated rooms...definitely will stay there again.Oh,and it is steps from Times Square!!

The room was a box. It was so small I couldn't believe it. We were promised a queen size bed and we got a full size. The maid knocked on the door at 9:00 in the morning to clean the room, check out is 12:00. We did leave the room for a little while the next day and went back to freshen up and the same maid told us she cleaned the room already and we […] couldn't go back in. Terrific location, clean, funky, fun and very secure. Highly recommended.

I paid for a deluxe room, I would hate to see the size of a regular room. The room was tiny and the shower pressure didn't rinse my hair. They took out towels when the cleaned and didn't leave use any fresh ones. We called, waited 30 minutes and they came after we called a second time.

Its was fantastic. Great gym, wonderful staff. I look forward to staying again.

The room was very small and the shower was tiny. Thankfully I only had a small bag because if I had had a suitcase there would have been nowhere to put it.

This is a very nice hotel, though the rooms are VERY VERY tiny and the "Full" size bed is a cross between a twin and a double. Everything was clean, nice people, close to many attractions. It was my second time staying there and I would stay again.
