Courtyard by Marriot Boston Downtown/Tremont Hotel - Boston

Check in and check out were great, the hotel was beautiful. The room was nice but tiny, which wouldn't have been too bad if the walls weren't paper thin. There was a large noisy group of people who spent the entire night in the hall outside our room talking and yelling and opening and slamming the door to the room. I had to call the front desk twice […] to come up and get them to quiet down and should have called more times than that. We got NO sleep. This Courtyard hotel was a very pleasant experience. Both comfortable and visually appealing. Staff on all shifts were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay again and recommend this location to others.

Typically, my experiences with Marriott Courtyard hotels are pleasant. The Courtyard by Marriott Boston Tremont Hotel, however, is not. It sports a decent nightly price for the neighborhood, but the room felt cramped and the amenities were underwhelming. Elevators were creaky and old with many buttons that didn't illuminate. King-sized bed was springy […] and uncomfortable. TV was clearly not mounted with a level (though we never used it). Barely any space to walk around the bed in the room. No in-room fridge either (minor gripe). Bathroom was poorly laid out with precious little shelf / counter space for toiletries. Shower head was about average, though I expected better. Overall, I expected better from a Courtyard Marriott. Would have guessed it was a lower-tier hotel based on the room quality. Baca selanjutnya

Room was small, and walls were very thin. There was an adjoining room with only a door separating us from our neighbors, which was somewhat uncomfortable. The location was perfect for our plans and the hotel personelle were helpful.

Very satisfied with the over all hotel, however when I called the hotel prior to check in I was told that they only offer Valet parking for $40.I thought the price for Valet should have been a little cheaper for people who have reservations. Also the front desk forgot to mention that there is a public parking garage straight across the street from the […] hotel entrance $36 a night, not to much lower than the $40 for Valet but to have known there were other options close by would have been nice. Aside from that slight annoyance the hotel staff, and rooms were excellent. Great location! Walking distance to the theater district, and several fantastic restaurants and bars. Baca selanjutnya

this is a great hotel in a terrific location. bear in mind that if you happen to get a room with a door to the adjoining hotel room, there is very little privacy! we could hear the couple next door loud and clear!!!

Very comfortable room but your windows need upgrading, lots of heat is lost! And that would mute outside sounds.

The only complaint was. the size of the room and the bed was terribly uncomfortable . But hotel was very clean and location was great.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Boston right in the middle of the theatre district. Although it is a Courtyard by Marriott it is the oldest and most dated hotel I have ever stayed in the chain. That's not to simply it wasn't clean because it is. My only negative comment is that on the 12th floor there was a smell as if I was […] in an old persons retirement home. the room was damp and dank as was the entore floor we stayed on. the hotel has poor ventilation and no fresh air. would not stay here again.

We had a cockroach in our sink in the bathroom of the room. I've never stayed at a hotel and found a cockroach before, I was very disgusted.

There was 7 of us on this trip (4 in one room, 3 in the other). The rooms we booked online were to contain two beds, the rooms we got had 1 king size bed. The room is definitely suited for two people, small and comfortable. There was no scenery to look at. We were given fold-Up beds. Not as comfortable as what we paid for {unless you like that pole […] in your back). We checked back with the front desk in the morning, and was told that they didn't have our proper rooms yet. The Wifi connection was so weak that it was useless (we were in rooms 617 & 625). Wired Internet connection took a lil bit of finesse to connect, and when it did connect it was slow. The bathroom had no vent, so mirrors fogged quickly. Didn't have any of the noise issues from the club below. Was 1 mile from Faneuil Hall so that was a plus. It was pretty clear this hotel is an converted office building. The room was tiny - kept stubbing our toes on the bed as it stuck out into the room. No place to put our luggage so we had to lay it on the floor. Outlets in the bathroom weren't close to to the mirror. Not much room - only a bed and desk.

From the moment I arrived at the Tremont Marriot I felt "important" the valet took my key the doorman held the door and I was in my room within 3 minutes of arriving. The room was nice with a king size bed and a loveley desk. I was in town for a show but was happy to get back to my room and more important my comfy bed. I would definately stay here  […] again. Besides having a club on the first floor corner of the hotel which kept us up till it closed with the loud bass, the toilet almost overflowed everytime it was flushed, the shower didnt drain so the next person in line for a shower had to stand in the dirty water from the person before them, the outlet in the bathroom didnt work so blow drying hair had […] to be done over the bed, drunk people yelled and slammed doors in the hallway all night and upon checking WAS NOT even asked "how was your stay?" It was Thaks, have a nice day. After i complained he simply said "oh, i will tell the engineer about the toilet." No appologies, no sorry..When you have have a 20 mile walk for hunger the next day YOU NEED a reasonable nights sleep, didnt get it and will not stay there again. Very Nice room, Good Value and the bed was very comfortable. I would definately book here again.

The valet parking was told to us by Hotel.com that it would be $32. The Marriott court yard told us it was $40. That is what we payed. it was only one night. Little disappointed in that. Over all it was a good stay for us. The room was the smallest room I think that I have ever stayed in. It was clean and neat. Thanks Susan B

Room was comfortable enough with two queen beds however the bathroom was ridiculously small and very poorly lit. No tub, just a shower with a curtain. It had a make-shift door that slid but not very well. My mother got stuck in there twice! It was $40 cheaper than the W (up the street) but I will probably spring for the extra money next time. In general, […] the hotel is looking a bit tired. On a positive note, everyone was very pleasant and they accomodated me with a late check out at 1pm. Valet parking was $40. We were in town to see a show at the Wilbur, so this hotel was perfect! The front desk was so nice to provide us with a cork screw when we fogot ours as well as held onto our bag of to-go food while we went to the show! Only problem was the thin walls at about 1am. But I was able to fall asleep!

There are no bathroom fans in the hotel bathroom.

The loud music played in the attached bar/disco can be heard on the 6th floor until 2AM.

This hotel is in the heart of the theatre district and is literally right across the street from the New England Medical Center subway stop. Very easy access and very pleasant staff.

Very NOISY at night time due to surrounding clubs in neighborhood. Had disrupted sleep all night until the clubs closed. Could hear the noise/music in my room. Way too loud & uncomfortable!!!

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I chose it based on the ratings on hotels.com, it's location and price. However, the room I stayed in was depressingly small, the telephone line was dead, tv had no picture, iron was broken. I reported these problems to the front desk the first morning. When I got back to my room around 10pm, the phone and tv was […] still out of service (I'm grateful they changed my iron!). When I called the front desk by my cell phone, they offered to send a technician to check them out. I waited for 10 minutes and called back to tell them that I did not want someone to come to my room late at night and work. It's like waiting for Comcast guy but at night. Who wants that? If you do not need any services from your hotel stay, this may be a cheap alternative to many expensive hotels in Boston. However, I seriously think that this hotel does not deserve more than two stars. Front desk is polite and professional but this doesn't mean much if the work doesn't get done. The room was too warm and stuffy. The windows didn't open. The hotel said that it can only turn on air or heat, but could not control the temperature by individual rooms. Sometimes even with the air turned on, it was blowing warm air. The hotel staff was helpful and apologetic and even gave us an old fan. On 3 of the nights, there was loud music and […] crazy, screaming people hanging out on the sidewalk by the hotel. On 2 of the nights, the police came around 3:00 A.M. to break up the disturbance. At one point there were probably 70-80 people hanging out in front of the hotel at 2-3 A.M. (not exaggerating-there may have even more). Unfortunately, I was staying at the hotel for the Boston Marathon and had several noisy sleepless, stuffy nights before and after the race. Would not recommend this hotel until you can adjust the climate and stop the wild parties that last until 3:00 A.M. Thank goodness for the Boston Police who were able to maintain some order around your hotel and allow guests a few hours of sleep. Baca selanjutnya

We loved the location of this hotel. Everything about it was expensive (parking, drinks @ the bar, etc) but it was convenient to Emerson College and the Theatres!

Good location, an easy walk to Boston Common, Cheers, lots of shopping. Room was clean, smelled good and the bed was comfortable.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado. Cerca de la terminal de omnibus y de Boston Common. En la misma cuadra hay discos y bares. Excelente ubicación. No tuvimos ningún inconveniente, la habitación era amplia y equipada. Lo unico que no nos gustó es que el baño era muy oscuro (literalmente 1 lamparita) por ser tan grande y uno se duchaba literalmente a oscuras […] xq la unica luz estaba en el espejo arriba del lavabo.
