I booked this inexpensive room with low expectations. I just needed a basic room to crash in after a long exhausting day before heading back to michigan. When I got to my room (all I wanted to do was sleep) I was knocked back by the stench! I couldn't believe how dumpy, dingy, just flat out gross the room was. The toilet didn't flush. The towels were […] like sandpaper. I chose to sleep in my clothes in fear of the sheets. The smell of the room was so strong it was keeping me awake. Gross. Was attending an event in the area and was looking for an inexpensive hotel to spend the night. Hotel was ok clean but breakfast left little to be desired we past on the free breakfast and went to Bob Evans

we booked a non smoking room and there were cigarette burns in the sheets. the room was never cleaned while we were there. the tv remote never worked. and the person working the front desk tried to charge me again for the room and i couldnt understand him when i tried to explain what was wrong.

For the price this is a very nice, clean hotel. Service was good, rooms were clean and had everything we need. Staff was helpful, and they offered a continental breakfast in the morning.

HORRIBLE! From the front desk attendant who took almost 10 minutes to acknowledge me at the front desk while making himself coffee in the adjacent breakfast room to the fact that the front desk actually argues with me as to why my room wasn't cleaned by 3PM--this place is a DUMP that should not be listed on this website!! Period. I only stayed here […] because it was the only place I could find close to the funeral home, as I flew into the Cleveland area to be with family to bury my 29 year-old nephew who was killed when a deer hit his truck & killed him. Front desk staff: BAD. Housekeeping staff: HORRIBLE. Stay away from this place! It is dirty and poorly managed by people with bad attitudes! Take your money elsewhere. Baca selanjutnya

I was visiting my daughter at Oberlin College so I did not spend much time at the motel. Clean, comfortable, nothing out of the ordinary. Breakfast was average. But it is half the price of the Oberlin Inn and 10 minutes from campus.

Sadly, as soon as I entered the room, I was disappointed due to the drab furnishings and lack of upkeep. But, would only be sleeping and bathing in the room for two nights.

coffee tasted like water. the bathroom fan sounded like a jack hammer when turned on. tv didn't work one night.they cleaned our room one day when a "do not desturb" sign was on door(good thing nothing was going on). lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. close to major roads and entertainment. all in all, i would give it a 4 out of 10.

We stayed there overnight on a trip to Michigan and it was quite sufficient. Everything was clean, including the pool and pool area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice variety. The only "negative" thing was that the toilet seat was loose (which my husband fixed), and the door to the room was a little hard to close. The location was convenient but the staff and hotel upkeep was horrible. We had no towels when we got there and when I asked the front desk for some I was told it would be a few hours "to round some up". The rooms themselves were filthy and there was trash still in the bathrooms. It's not like the hotel was busy, and the staff was scrambling, they just […] simply didn't care. Hotel was OK for the price. If you are looking for a nice place to eat visit Ziggy's or Corks both located in nearby City of Amherst.

The room reeked of smoke. Condition of building was poor. They seemed to try to clean it as counters, tub, floor tile in bath area were cracked, missing parts, stained but not filthy. Bed was firm but sheets seemed clean. Hole burned in bedspread. Wallpaper peeling, door fixtures rusted and dirty. Parking lot in poor condition. Requested non-smoking room, received smoking. Clerk at the desk not at all helpful, even a little belligerent. Room was clean looking. Cigarette burns in all bedding, comforter and blanket. Door to toilet and tub would not close properly. Just not a good experience. Do not stay here if you have any choice in the matter.

It amazing that this hotel is still open. Everything about it was unpleasant. Service at the desk was not friendly to start. Assigned smoking room even though non-smoking was reserved. That might not have been too bad but blankets and comforter both had cigarette burns in them. The bathroom door wouldn't close and the grout around the bathtub and tile […] was stained. When we returned from an outing the maid did give us towels because she hadn't made it to our room by 4. She was nice. That was the only thing that went a positive way. Nice hotel with Denney's restraunt in front of it. Not all rooms are the same. Some had microwaves and refrigerators in them. Wireless internet did not work very well in the second building. It had great signal in the lobby.

My biggest issue was that the room was freezing (especially the bathroom) when I arrived and it took a quite while for the heat to make it's way there. of course it was Cleveland area in Mid-February, but still some level of heat would have helped.

Receptionist that checked us in had a dreadful cold and kept coughing all over her keyboard, my license and credit card and the paperwork she gave me. After checking into the room, I took a soap bar and thoughly cleaned my license and credit card. I gargled with moutwash and did a "airborne" fizzy drink. It gave me the creaps! This motel was a nice stop for us while visiting a nearby college. It was nothing posh but the staff was friendly and polite even at midnight. Access to the turnpike as well as the nearby college was wonderful. Breakfast was basic with cereal and rolls, juice and coffee. The price was within our budget. I would stay here again.

Difficulties with Expedia reservations- hotel staff worked through this: This is a plus. Room reserved for us had construction on going in the room; replacement room was smelly and had not been serviced as linen and towels were piled on the bed. The final (3rd try) did not have the the correct linens nor enough towels for a family of four. The room […] was not set up (king bed with a fold out) to allow for the foldout to be utilized as a bed. I reset the room and moved the furniture to accommodate the needed room arrangement. The water was touchy to say the least with respect to the shower/bath temp. Every night there was a problem/issue with one of the two card keys. The hall ways were cold (in Dec in N. Ohio the heat needs to be on!). Communications within the hotel staff to stock the room after the 1st night for a family of four did not occur. The King size bed was extremely uncomfortable- not sure if it would have been better to sleep in the chair or on the floor. The bathroom was consistently cold which seem to tell me that the exhaust fan in the bathroom needs to run continuously and or the insulation (again in N. Ohio in the winter) is lacking. The "breakfast" was a bit . . . well, we went to Bob Evans. The good news- the hotel is near a several food choices. For those slightly adventurous, I'd recommend a couple local spots: "Hot Dog Heaven" for lunch and Moosehead Pub for BBQ dinner- both are about a 5 minute drive. Baca selanjutnya

The hotel, room, staff, and restaurants around were excellent. This is a very good place for a short sojourn.

Basic clean room. Only complaint was that breakfast ended promptly at 9am. They didn't even offer coffee afterward.

A good, basic, clean, economical motel and we would stay there again. There was a range of restaurants and take out food venues surrounding the motel also. It was also an easy drive into Cleveland as it's close to the highway and the coastal road which was a lovely route to take.

The hotel was hidden behind a Denny's restaurant. The parking in front of motel needs to be resurfaced as well as repairs done on the room. Seemed like it was missing some furniture and it was not exactly what the picture looked like on the ad. Not too happy but it was a place to stay,.

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel that included breakfast and was close to a workshop I was attending in Elyria, OH. This hotel met that need. It wasn't perfect, but it was comfortable and served my purpose very well. We had a problem with our sink which would not drain. This was after 7pm and there was only one staff member in the entire hotel, […] and he was at the front desk. It took a while, but he was able to get to our room and fix the drain.
