One of the best all round hotels i've stayed in because: i) Free Shuttle bus services were provided to Feringhi beach, Georgetown and night markets ii) Clean rooms iii) Cheap rates iv) nice breakfast buffets v) Proximity to the beach vi) Friendly staff. What more could you want?

This hotel is at Miami Beach along the northern coast of Penang. It is a 20 minutes drive to Georgetown if there is no heavy traffic. The nearest shopping centers are Island Plaza and Straits Quay 10 minutes drive away. There is a small little beach opposite the hotel accessible via a link bridge. It is value for money but don't expect any luxury.

i first visited batu ferringhi and it was breath taking on the road there, the sea was absolutely fantastic, and upon reaching the hotel, it was really tall and lovely...like that feel...however check in took us 35 minutes and it was really annoying where the room is not even ready when we check in at 4pm...where there is 5 or 6 of others waiting for […] their room...the room was really pleasant, so big and comfortable, breakfast was nice, love it... At first, we were not happy for rooms arrangement, we booked 2 rooms for 4 persons and was given different floor. Finally, we switched to same floor as we insisted to change. We have stayed at this hotel on our last 2 visits to Penang. The hotel is situated between Georgetown and Batu Feringhi and is therefore situated in a quiet setting away from the touristy areas. The room is quite big, infact too big for a couple. The bathroom is clean and in decent size too. The swimming pool is small and always packed with kids. Comfortable but airconditioner unable to be adjusted: noisy & icy/too cold. Fan and temperature unable to be adjusted. Getting to places somewhat difficult unless you use taxis. Had to change room 5 times as air condition did not work, eventually checked out to go to a better hotel. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away!!

The aircon very cold. put 30 degrees C still freezing . Room very spacious. I like. 2 hrs free internet when you buy drink at the Restaurant dwn stairs. There is ice choc drink. I like. Lunch time so many people! Swimming pool is clean. The room has sea Downstairs shop sells drink, swimming trunks.

THe hotel is quite far from downtown. The room is relative old. It has nice view of the sea and the area if relatively quiet which is good. The receptionist was however extremely slow. It was annoying to stand waiting 15min just to get to your turn to check-in. Overall it was alright.

I det stora hela är vi jätte nöjda med Hydro, bra frukost, gratis shuttle till både Batu Ferringhi och Gorge Town. Personalen generellt vänlig med ett och annat undantag. Renligheten är ok, med tanke på hur det är i övrigt i Malaysia. Massage till nästan samma pris som utanför hotellet, poolen städades ibland flera ggr/dag. 他の方が書かれていたように、ジョージタウンから離れています。またバツーフェリンギからも離れている中途半端な位置にあります。ホテルに無料シャトルバスがありますが、本数が多ホテルと比べると非常に少ない。ホテルには専用ビーチがありますが、これも狭いですね。 今回払った客室料金とホテルグレードからすると、あまりおすすめはできません。
