The only problem we had was there was a musty smell in the room. Also, the housekeeping staff knocked on the door at 9 am asking If we needed towels or anything - we weren't out of bed yet so we said no - they didn't come to clean the room then.

Wonderful stay! Housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tasteful. Front desk staff on day of check out was a deal maker. She was helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate multiple bikers on a rainy day. As a female traveling alone I felt perfectly safe and comfortable throughout the hotel. I will book again.

Our stay was great and the staff was so friendly. the room was wonderful, just what we needed for a getaway. We will dedinitely come back for anohet visit. Very well run considering all the remodling going on. There was no construction noise on our level and the rooms were quite clean.

The rating showed breakfast included, but it was an additional 8.95/ person. Not worth it when the Hampton and holiday inn express offer free hot breakfast.

The hotel was very nice and clean but it was a little dated and need some new up keep. The room could have used some new paint and carpet was worn out in some areas but all in all the stay was pleasant and the staff were great.

Our room was on the third floor and the room beside us along with the one above us was very loud. The room had an odor to it as if it had been used as a smoking room, but then was turned into a non-smoking room. It was very damp and nothing seemed to dry out even when it was warm outside. The room was kept clean by the staff, but we received a knock […] on the door of our room by the cleaning crew to see if we were leaving for the day before 9:00 am so it could be cleaned. Hotel was great. Room was clean all the time. Room service everyday. If you asked for more towels or anything you needed they brought it right away. The beds were made everyday. Free coffee in lobby. Our stay at the Courtyard Marriott North Myrtle Beach was great. The hotel is very nice as expected for a Marriott hotel. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The hotel lobby and dining area was beautifully decorated and makes you feel you are at home.

The thing that disgusted me the most was that I found a cockroach in the initial room I was placed in. Although I was moved to another room (which was not very clean, ie. sand on the shelves of the closet and dresser), I had unsettling night of sleep due to wondering if there were cockroaches in the new room. Over the past year, I have stayed at different hotels in different locations, and most all (even lower-rated places by comparison) have mini-refrigerators. The hotel service was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and acted like they were truly glad we chose to stay in their hotel. We were able to use the lounge area for a business meeting and felt very comfortable inviting our client to this hote.

Staying overnight with children, I was most concerned with the cleanliness of the room and its bedding. I thought the room was superb! My (3) kids have allergies and I slept well knowing they were on clean sheets and that the a/c filter had been serviced recently. Very nice beachside hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, so the kids can hang out in their own area while the parents relax. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall quality. The prices were also very reasonable.

I would book this hotel again-the chocolate chip cookies were complimentary, computer was available with printer at no charge, full breakfast for $8.95, and snacks were available at a reasonable charge.

The hotel was right by Barefoot landing. It was clean and quiet. The desk clerks were nice and mannerly. They gave us directions directly to where we needed to go.

Very clean. Comfortable. Great service. Great location. Had issues with Heat/Air system that cause some inconvience but other than that it was a great stay. The staff was very prompt in resolving the H/A issue.
