Staff was great, helpful, polite & professional. The room was fine, may have seen better/newer days but...overall just fine. The beautifully large tub has seen its best days. The only real negative was the air conditioner it did not keep the room comfortable. Thankfully it wasn't hot yet.

Room was outdated even after the claim of complete renovation. Staff was friendly. The sound of water running through the walls all night long.

Yes, they are still working on things as they opened early, but the room and hotel is VERY clean and EVERYONE you run into is totally focused on customer service. The management has done an incredible job in training everyone there to be focused on the guests. They will get over their bumps that always happen when you open a new hotel and will turn […] it into something special as they have laid a great foundation in their focus on customer service. Very quick check in and out . Room very nice size n comfortable bed new restaurant /bar staff was very inviting Had a very good stay!

Upon arrival I learned the Scanticon and the Radison were n ow one and the same and the amenities that were Scanticon specific no longer existed...somewhat disappointing but the Radisson was ok

Some of the reviews mentioned that the hotel was a little outdated. The only thing I would say was the bathroom maybe was a little outdated, but not bad at all. The room was large and very clean, the bed was very comfortable - I believe it was an airbed, as it had controls to adjust the firmness of the bed, sheets and bedding were of high quality. All the hotel gusts are being placed in Redisson : Scanticon Hotel is under construction. We have never been notified about this fact and spent about an hour looking for the building, trying to call (the phone number turned out to be out of service ) and finding alternative options .... Redisson was the closest to the Scanticon and absolutely accidentally […] we found out that Redisson accepts Scanticon's guests during construction period.... Baca selanjutnya

Room did not have whirlpool tub as advertised. No continental breakfast. Scantion was actually the Radisson due to construction and was not marked as such. Room was clean and spacious. Friendly staff. No microwave or fridge as advertised. Not enough sugar or cream for the coffee. Hotel was very close to shopping, good restaurants, and attractions.

When I arrived at the hotel, the entire front parking lot and surrounding area was under construction. To get to the Scanticon, you had to walk through the Radisson and then through a connecting hallway. It seemed like a mile and a half. The Scanticon restaurant was closed down. Good - Nice and clean room, very close to King of Prussia mall. Rate was reasonable. Bad - Present time they are doing construction in the parking lot and part of the convention center. Getting into the parking lot was slightly confusing. Long walk to the elevator after checking in at the Radisson desk. I'd still recommend this place to anyone. This hotel is awful. They were doing renovation to build a casino and when we woke up there were workers RIGHT OUTSIDE the window working with jack hammers. Why not put us on the other side or higher up? Carpet was stained, Coffee pot didn't work, Closet door wouldn't open. People at desk didn' seem to care about any of the problems. The hotel is in the middle of rennovations, which makes the experience much less enjoyable. It is an awful hike to the rooms, ANY rooms because there is only one entrance, at the adjoining hotel. The restaurant which I was so excited about going, is closed until the rennovation is done and the older rooms they put guests in now, need some TLC (hence […] why my room was changed... critter in room #1. This hotel is going to become a casino and is currently under construction. I am handicapped and was not able to get a handicap spot when arriving because there was only 8 available. That might sound like many but it was for TWO hotels. For this hotel you have to sign in through the Radison because of construction. I was told the room is "right down […] the hallway" which is completly wrong. It was down many hallways which was at least the total length of a football field. The only thing that was rated excellent was the folks that took care of the rooms. They were always in a good mood and always asked how I was doing. The one employee (no name allowed) which was who checked me in was horrible and does not deserve to work for a hospitality field. I gave my overall rating a 2 just because of the workers that I met. This hotel was the worst! Poor customer service, under construction and NEVER told, dirty!

This hotel is completely under construction which I was never told when I made the reservation. It is a 8-10 walk after checking in at the Radisson than walking through the Valley Forge Conference Center. When finally getting to my room it was 100 degrees from there and it was downhill from there.

WHen you get to the Scanticon, you must register at the adjacent Radisson's desk. You then must walk your way for quite a distance to get to the Scanticon elevators. During which MAYBE you cross paths with 6 other people. Kind of spooky for a single woman traveler at 9:30pm. The room itself smelled of cigars until I turned on the fan unit. I have stayed here before and loved it - right now it is under construction and the parking was terrible. All guests must register at the attached Radisson hotel and walk to the Scanticon. All parking is on the Radisson side as well. We had to park far away and walk in, get through a very crowded entryway and lobby, then walk all the way through the […] Radisson to get to the Scanticon. The hotel was a surprise after reading the reviews we were a little sceptical but we were surprised with a huge whirlpool and a large room, king size bed and yes, we had a big window as well. Yes, the walk was long to our room but we ordered room service for breakfast so it wasn't too bad.

Construction made it hard to find the hotel....had to walk a long way to get to the room through the Radisson...room was spacious and clean....we had to overcome an unexpected downgrade to one bed to get two doubles for two male business travelers

I stayed for one night in a suite. The hotel was under renovation so I had to check in at the hotel next door (which was connected, but still a far walk). No one offered to help with my bags. The hotel looked a little run down in general (stains on carpets, scratched furniture) and my room was a little smelly. It was stated that the suite had a king […] bed; well, it had a king size bed frame, but a queen size mattress. I ordered room service at 10:45 pm, food was bad so I only ate a little. The delivery person said to leave it outside of my room so I did. I checked out at 10:45 am and the partially eaten tray of food was still outside of my door. Also, they told us at check in that they were turning off hot water at 10am. I had a very early meeting (3:30am) and went back to hotel to nap afterwards. I tried to shower at 9:30 am but the hot water apparently was turned off earlier than I was told, so I had to take a cold shower. Overall, the people were nice, but the hotel was a let down. About to be swallowed up by the neighbouring Radisson and undergoing a major refurbishment / transformation in a casino resort and so certainly not seen or experienced at its best, I would imagine! However, the rate we paid probably reflected this and the hotel was full to over-flowing as a result.

Not a bad stay, however after checking in they blocked off the main front entrance to do construction on the parking lot. While I understand that is needed to improve things, the hotel patrons should have been notified and alerted of this and been made aware of emergency exits just in case a quick escape was ever needed. It was a pain to walk all the […] way to the Radisson to get out of the hotel. Checking out with bags and making that journey was not great either. The standard room in this hotel is very nice, very clean and it has a large whirlpool tub, of which we took full advantage. However, there is major parking lot construction currently underway and you have to enter the hotel through the adjacent Radisson hotel - which results in quite a long walk to your elevator/room. This hotel recieves an average review. It had its share of perks, but for every perk, there was one concern to be had. Perk 1: Tub large enough for 4; the hotel's standard suite came equiped with a tub that could easily have fit a half dozen people in it and included air jets. Concern 1: Said tub was rusty and very loud. Unfortunately, the knobs within […] the tubs couldn't be adjusted in the slightest because they were aged and rusty. One side of the tub had jets that were out of control, and the other side seemed to be shut off. Perk 2: 1.5 miles away from mall, shopping, and theaters. There is plenty to do nearby which made for a great excursion. You can see a movie, visit the mall, or have a nice dinner with the options being very diverse. Concern 2: Condition of hotel/Price of Room Service My primary concern was that I was going to round a corner and find "REDRUM" written on one of the walls. I suppose the hotels age and 'THE SHINING' feel can be viewed on either side of the scale - I guess it depends on which part of the hotel you are referring to. The carpeting was straight out of a 1040's hotel movie, with small stains here and there throughout the halls. But worst of all was the price of everything... want to rent a movie in the room - you'll pay nearly as much as you would going to a theater. Dirty room, remodeling going on in the lower level, no handicap access to the hotel. Very laid-back staff with no sense of service. I had to stay there for one night and left as early as I could...

The room did not contain any windows, so even with all of the lights on, in the morning, it felt dark. There was a fuzzy ring in the toilet at the water line, possibly indicating that the room was not frequently used. But, that would contradict the brown residue found on the toilet seat. UGH! The bed, while clean, was not comfortable and the pillows […] were absolutely flat. We chose the room based on the price but in retrospect would have paid more to receive a nicer room. Our room was HUGE! We had 2 beds, but really, could have fit 2 more. Loved the big room, huge bath tub and vanity completely seperate from the bath/toilet area.

The staff doesn't care. My husband, age 75 and recovering from heart surgery and cancer had to struggle with a broken luggage cart to get out bags to the hotel room - no help from staff. Room care never consistent and sometimes non-esixtant. I was there for spinal surgery and was told if we wanted anything to eat or for breakfast that it was a 10 minute […] walk to the adjoining Radisson. The elevators and common areas were filthy. Upon making my reservation and upon arrival I requested a comfortable chair in the room. I was assured there was one. My husband had to put the rungs of the chair back together in order to use it and the seat was caved in and uncomfortable as were the mattresses on the beds. (lumpy, dented and needed replacement years ago. The beds did not have mattress covers (which should have been there for sanitary purposes) Can you imagine sleeping in a bed like that after having surgery? On our last night the power went out at 1:15 am and was still not on at 8:00. Called desk and asked for help with bags (we were on 5th floor) Waited 45 minutes and called again. By that time my husband was struggling with to bags and had to go up and down all those flights of stairs twice. On his last trip someone finally arrived and took the last bag down. I had surgery two days before and was not supposed to walk more than 5 minutes. I had to walk down all those flights of stairs. During this time the staff was nowhere to be seen. If anyone healthy or waiting for surgery stays at this abomination called a hotel they need to have their heads examined. Not once were we ever contacted by any management or staff to apologise or see if they could help. As I stated before, THEY JUST DIDN'T CARE! By the way, the newspaper that they advertise to be delivered to the room each day was non-existant. when we questioned the staff at the desk they said we could walk over to the Radisson and purchase one!
