If you're traveling to Deadwood, this hotel is right smack in the middle of everything. Parking is inconvenient, as other reviewers have stated, but there isn't much that can be done about that, given the location of the hotel. Construction is going on in the building just across the street from the hotel entrance, so it's somewhat difficult to load […] and unload your car, but nobody seems to mind. The room was fine, and there wasn't any noise from the street that we could hear. The renovation/remodel is looking beautiful. It would of been good to know of this prior to reserving. Never vaccummed the floor, dry wall, carpet, wall paper debris all over floor and tracked into our room.

downtown Deadwood is pretty compact and the hotel is right in the middle of things and convenient to the museums and historic downtown

Love this hotel. Great location, friendly people, clean rooms. Didn't love the shades on the window on the inside room, felt like people waking by could see in the room.

The parking was not so good. But the stay was great. Large rooms, clean and a big TV. Most of all located near all the fun.

Convenient to all Deadwood attractions... but, the condition of the room was sub-par in terms of cleanliness. As an aside, we tip generously for good maid service - this room garnered no tip. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was no better. Greasy fingerprints on the elevator buttons and service carts left in the halls for extended periods were two […] examples. Only six tables in the lobby with four chairs each meant you had to share your table at breakfast, whether desired or not. Had it not been so convenient to all of the area attractions, it would be a one-star hotel... and we ARE Holiday Inn Express fans. Baca selanjutnya

We didn't really know what to expect at the hotel or Dead Wood for that matter. But we upgraded to a suite, because we stayed 3 nights. Had everything we could have wanted, comfy beds good breakfast, quite, and everyone was really pleasant. Can't wait for our next stay!! Love Holiday Inn Express.

Good hotel, friendly staff. Workout room is good. Breakfast is free but fairly poor (a pancake machine?). As noted before, the parking is a block away but we did not find that particularly inconvenient. These are small blocks. The lobby gets a little smoky from the casino, but that's probably true of every Deadwood hotel.

The only complaint I have is there was no "Do not disturb" sign to put on the door so we were disturbed before we were ready. Breakfast buffet included pancakes and bisquits and gravy. Pretty Good.

booked n/s, was given smoking, had to fight with front-desk to get a n/smokeing, will never stay at another HIE ever again it sucked, BIG TIME

Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking more than a block away was not convienant. Deadwood itself is a great place to stay while taking in the different attractions available in the Black Hills area.

Centralized location. Quick & friendly check in. Nice room; spacious bath. They accomodated a special request with ease; will definately stay again! Thank you.

You had to park in a garage that was 2 blocks down and 1 block over. The shortest way back to the hotel was through a dark alley. The air never got cool enough for us and our room was right on the street.

This facility was beautiful, but they do not have on site parking. We had to park in a city garage, covered in the cost of the room, but with typical low clearance, we had to remove the Thule carrier from the top of our van and store it in the room for two nights. An unexpected hassle after a long day.

We particularly enjoyed the Main St downtown location. We were happy to see that the hotel had luggage carts; a nice added convenience. We found the breakfast selection very good; tasty, hot, and nice choices. Rooms were clean , bed comfortable, and pleasant decor. Great place to stay in deadwood, right on the main street, with everything close by. The only problem was the parking, it is two blocks away in a parkade so a bit of a hassle to load and unload luggage, but worth it to be right on the main street. Nice room and good breakfast.

We have been to Deadwood many times, but had never stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and were very pleased with everything. Very accomodating to us.

Hotel was well situated. However, having to park the car away from the hotel was inconvenient. The complimentary breakfast was adequate. We stayed for two nights and unfortunately we didn't sleep well due to a very noisy air conditioner, even though it was switched off.
