Quality Inn & Suites - Austin

Good value for a last minute booking. Staff was fast and efficient. Friendly vibe. Neighborhood had trailer parks and trashy bars, but felt safe enough.

We won't be staying at this hotel again. Checked in late & was unable to find parking in hotel lot - clerk had no suggestions & neighborhood next to hotel looked shady. Finally found a spot behind a parked trailer at the very end of the lot. Fire alarms went off @ 3 in the morning for a long time. It was OK. Did not like going to have breakfast and almost get run by a lady that looks very unhappy, almost upset and not even get a response for a "good morning"...Like breakfast thought..!!!

The fire alarms started at 11:30 at night and continued for 30 minutes (confirmed there was not a fire with the front desk). At 2 a.m. the fire alarm went off again. The breakfast was less than adequate with many items not stocked and the bread items were not fresh. I had to get hot water for my oatmeal and coffee from the lobby area. Fire alarm went off once at midnight, and again at 2:30 AM. Manager said it was because someone set it off, but then they had a fire system company there doing maintenance on the whole system as we were leaving in the morning.

will not stay at this hotel again.....

We had two quick overnights, chose it for price and proximity to airport. It's adequate...a little worn out and depressing locale. But comfortable and quiet. A little overpriced for just adequate.

I selected this hotel because it was a good price and convenient for my needs. Hotel staff was lukewarm, but overall, I am satisfied with my stay. My only complaint is that my room was situated literally right by the lobby, front desk, and very close to the main entrance. I could hear people talking loudly in the foyer and was woken up a couple of times. […] Fortunately, I was exhausted and was able to fall back asleep quickly. Spent one night here because of bad weather and delayed flights. My only complaint was the rate was very high.

If you like a veiw of a trailer park, poor customer service, and sporadic cleaning service, this is the place for you. I had an issue with the bathroom that they took several days to fix. When they did come to fix the issue, they left my door propped open such that anyone could have come in my room. I have no idea how long it was like that. I had three […] people traveling with me and they all had similiar experiences with things in their rooms no working and getting a poor response. mostly, quality inn in austin near the airport is ok. no complain at all. service is good. i will recommend to others if needed. thanks.

I put my wife and mother in law up here for one night, and it wasn't a great experience. Nasty stains on carpet, rips on sheets/bedding. Towels weren't "clean", lots of stains. Had I known I would not have booked them there, good thing it was short night. Overpriced for the quality.

Our stay at the Quality Inn was nice. It's close to the airport. I just with the shuttle van would've started earlier. We had to pay $15 for a taxi because the shuttle was'nt running at 4am.

Breakfast was good, however there was no one attending who could replenish the items as they were used up. Wehad to wait a long time for someone to fill the waflle mix container. Also we had to leave a day early, and we were not able to get a refund.

The pictures do not look like the hotel at all. Many of the floorboard runners are missing. I don't know if they are remodeling.....maybe people would be a bit more lenient if they knew this was the case (although their idea of remodeling cannot really be considered any better, and I say this comfortably without having seen it before) Our room smelled […] faintly of dirty sweaty bathroom. I woke up in the night and forgetting a moment where I was, smelled this and was disgusted. The tampon machine and the paper towl machine were broken in the public restroom.....All in all, gross. Good option for the low Hotel.Com rate. The room was nice and clean and the beds comfortable. Only complaint is that the AC could not be raised in the Fitness Room, hallways and elevator also a bit dirty. Pool was small but nice, and the staff was all very helpful. There was trash on the floor underneath the sink and two bugs in the tub. The rest of the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Also when I called the hotel to make the reservation, they told me to book it through Hotels.com. Later, I discovered that with two stays at Quality Inn, we could get a free night within a certain period of time. I asked the guy at the front desk over the phone the night befor if they had shuttle service seeing as how my flight landed at 11:45 am. he said no, we stop at 11. i said really? Well when do you start? he says 6 am. I said so from 6 am to 11 am and he said yes. Well a 3 min drive and $15 cab fare later he says no we run til 11pm!?! The hotel was under […] construction from a few years ago as well as my room, and i wouldn't bathe my dog in the pool. it was green and full of bugs..Holiday in on the other side of the airport is $30 more and well worth the diffrence in price. The breakfast was great! The neighborhood around it was a bit odd. I walked in they gave me my keys & went right to my room. it was really nice! I was surprised. If your looking to hangout in austin its about a 10min drive to downtown.

This hotel is about a mile away from the airport its price is a little high for its condition. I guess they were doing some recent remodeling and maybe that's why it didn't look as clean. The pool hadn't been cleaned either. Also next to the hotel there are a bunch of mobile homes. Over all it wasn't great but it wasn't bad. Everything was great. My only complaint was the carpet. It left your kids feet black. The carpet seemed like they shampoo it so much it was oily or something. But the beds were great and comfy. The shower and bathroom was very clean. The pool was very relaxing. Fae's kitchen had good food. Breakfast was wonderful and free. Good price.

This is family owned business. The hotel had a note that "If you do not want us to change your sheet pace this on the bed." Our sheets were not changed the for 4 days. Some days the room was not cleaned. Also, they allowed smoking and none smoking rooms. The hotel smelled like smoke all day. They would spray, but with in a few hours the hotel would […] smell again. We are pleased with our stay at Quality Inn and the amenities provided were timely and sufficient., including the airport shuttle service. We wanted to enjoy the pool, but it did not appear to to be alluring. Communication between shifts at the Desk could be slightly improved (our late check out was noted in their register). Everything was great - room, complimentary coffee at 5 AM, free parking while we were on our trip, etc. THEN came time to leave for the airport at 5 AM. We were ready but the shuttle driver refused to take us at 5 AM, saying he'd be "back in 10 minutes for another trip." He got back and we loaded our stuff into the van. Then we found out there was no […] front desk staff so he was working both positions. While a line formed at the front desk, it was almost 5:30 and we had a 6:20 flight. I finally went into the hotel and told him we were leaving now, not in 2 minutes, but NOW, and I would take the van if he didn't drive it. We came within 1 minute of missing our flight and had to run (as best I can in my leg brace - yes, you're reading this right!!!) and as a result my son's luggage was improperly tagged and disappeared. I regularly use this hotel for missed connections and late arrivals in Austin. The price is right, and the hotel staff is in the midst of renovating the whole thing. Although it is a little dusty today, in a few months I expect it to be a great value.

We got two rooms for three nights at the Quality Inn by the airport. Good value; nice place; nice folks at the desk; a bit far from town but easy to head to San Antonio or the Salt Lick; kids loved the pool. Airplane noise is not a problem. Few proximate restaurants or shops-but AUSTIN is ten minutes down Riverside Dr.

It was on 71 and easy to get on and off 71, We were a 15 min drive from any resturants, The view from our room was a trailer park, there was a liquor store next door, wouldn't stay there again. The staff spoke little english.
