"The steam shower jacuzzi suite was great"
The hotel was in a nice location right on Lake Superior, the suite we had was great the steam shower was well worth the extra 20 bucks, we left the patio doors opened at night and heard the crashing waves all night, so relaxing, Nice hotel for the price. We thought the suite was a bit small considering it was called a "suite" was about the average size […] of any other room, howerver the bathroom and steamshower I guess took up alot of space. The fireplace was relaxing and room was clean. The breakfast was good, basic yogurt fruit rolls, toast juice along with scrambled eggs ham and a pancake machine pretty nice. "BW Superior"
Great complementary breakfast. Lakeside view was fabulous. Very clean- loved the "clean remote control" system.
"Stay in Grand Marais"
This hotel was great...very friendly service, great view from the room, great location, and the price was great for how nice the room was. I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to friends.

"Hotel BW Plus in Grand Marais, Minnesota"
the hotel was right on lake superior so the view was magnificient. The only problem we had is that we were on the first floor and could hear the people above us moving around during the night, and so we had a hard time sleeping. I would recommend getting a room on the second floor if you stay here.

One of the best views. You can walk right out to the lake. Great place to stay. Eat at the hole foods store great food.

"Thank goodness for air conditioning"
It is rare to find air conditioning in hotels on Lake Superior, but the Best Western has it and we needed it. The weather was extremely the whole 3 days we were there. As we went passed other hotels we saw fans in windows. Fortunately we were cool and comfortable after being out in the heat all day. "Lake Suuperior Hoteo"
Super location - Great View - Beach. Couldn't ask for more. We were a little shocked at the price. We haven't used any hotel/motel in three years.

"Nice Hotel"
We've stayed here before. Right on the water, pet friendly and clean rooms. They also have a new pancake maker. Push a button and 1 minute later 2 small, tasty pancakes emerge. The kids were impressed and so was I. They should sell them. Great hotel, you will be satisfied.

Clean, comfortable facility, well decorated with numerous breakfast options, helpful staff, and a great location right on the shore of Lake Superior.
"If you have pets...go for it. If not..."
Room was okay but on ground level and had people/pets right outside window constantly. I should've requested upper level when I booked. Room was fairly loud in that I had a dog next door as well as in the unit above. There was sporadic (not continuous) barking and I heard the dog above running around the room a few times. I heard the people above using […] their toilet (what I mean by that should be obvious). The people next door took their dog out at 2 AM and it barked right outside our window and woke us both up. When we awoke the next day, it was very apparent that there were a lot of dogs staying there and obviously, this is the place to go if you have pets. "BW Plus"
Well, we took a five year anniversary little get away this past weekend in Grand Marais as with 2 young ones, we didn't have the time or money to go too much further. We arrived at our hotel at approx 5:00 pm and by midnight felt that we had been gone away for a few days already! From the outside, the hotel just looked average, and lobby the same, but […] when we got into our room, we were in a little place of paradise! The staff were very warm and welcoming when we arrived and suggested a few places to eat, however one just around the corner "Crooked Spoon" was amazing! Best steak ever! We went back to our room and sat int he jacuzzi with the fireplace going for hours and just had a great rest. We had the balcony doors open all night as the heat in the room from the fireplace was too much for us, and by doing that, we heard the crashing of the waves from Lake Superior all night! It was like we were in the caribbean again! I woke in the am to go for a walk on the shoreline and watch the sunrise and by this point was in total vacation mode! We had a great, comfortable sleep in a very relaxing atmosphere! We would do it again next year for our anniversary definitely! Baca selanjutnya
"wonderful winter getaway"
We love this hotel and the surrounding area. We had the whirlpool suite with fireplace. It was so cozy and romantic. The whirlpool felt fantastic after a day outdoors in the winter wonderland. The breakfast provided is very nice. Every once in awhile we like to get away to this pristeen area and this hotel makes the visit unforgetable.

"Great view overlooking Lake Superior!!!"
We "upgraded" our room to one with a deck and bench that looked right out on Lake Superior. It was a BEAUTIFUL place to sit and watch the sunrise. We were very satisfied with our entire stay.

The hotel was totally re-decorated using high quality products & beautiful. It was very clean and excellent staff was efficient and welcoming. The room was on the main level with a superb view of the Lake Superior. Our room was clean, comfortable and absolutely gorgeous. The granite counters were stunning. The bathroom was modern and the glass shower doors were inviting. The only issue we had was breakfast. We realize there is no restaurant or chef on staff, but my husband is very particular […] about food quality. He was not pleased with the eggs and sausage so we checked out early before heading back to the cities and had breakfast elsewhere. Staff were very courteous and helpful. "Pricey, but not that nicey"
This is an OK hotel on Lake Superior, which should be great. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. However, it is wrapped around a SuperAmerica gas station. The "Beargrease" rooms face Lake Superior AND the back of the Co-Op market. Apparently, walking on the beach of pebbles and stones and talking on cell phones is what to do at sunset. This was a great room for a weekend getaway. The room clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the hot tub and the lake view.
