Clean rooms, good breakfast including eggs and real meat (not just paper bacon). Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location for Troutdale and surrounding areas including quick freeway access.

Found the room to be a little on the small side. However, we enjoyed location , friendly staff, excellent breakfast, great mattress for a solid sleep and a clean fresh room............................

We have been trying to find a hotel with convenience to the Columbia River Gorge & Mt. Hood areas. This was clean & comfortable. Highly recommend.

Was only going to stay one night and then find a more "upscale" hotel for the rest of our stay but the hotel was too good to leave. It was immaculate, the staff was friendly and bent over backwards to be helpful. The breakfast buffet was awesome. There is an outlet mall and cute restaurants nearby. "The Holiday Inn Express in Troutdale Oregon"
This hotel was the best hotel we stayed at out of the 5 we stayed in while in Oregon. The Hotel staff bent over backwards to make us feel at home. The hotel was so convienent to the Columbia Gorge Senic Drive. The beds was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. In a nice quiet location and many good eating place near by.

The Holiday Inn Express does not have a lot of amenities, but we had a spacious room and enjoyed quiet nights of sleep. The wireless Internet is free with your stay. There is a quite extensive breakfast, including various cold options, but also an egg dish, a breakfast meat, biscuits and gravy, and fresh pancakes (from an awesome automatic griddle). Good hotel right off the freeway. Everything was clean. Wireless was really nice. The beds were a bit small. We will stay there again.

"Good hotel"
The hotel is very well positioned, minutes from the factory outlets and close to the Multnomah falls. The staff was very friendly and gave us maps and information about what was nearby, and how to get there. Breakfast was free, which is always a huge plus.
