"Great hotel if your on a budget"
We are Europe for 3 months so we have a budget to keep. This hotel was good, and was in our price range, maybe a little update of decor needed, but the staff were good, breakfast was a reasonable price and a good selection. I'd only recommend this hotel if you have a car, which is why we chose it, as it had free parking. It's a bit of a way out of town […] about 9 minutes by car. This is one of three Ibis hotels in Caen and, although the decor is looking a little sad, satisfies all the basic needs. Nice budget hotel. Perfect for business travelers/single tourists. Not very suitable for families due to room size. Had a very enjoyable stay.
Trés bien pour pasage dans la région. Personnel accueillant et restaurant trés correcte. Sur l'ensemble de la pretation, bon rapport qualité prix.

Bien sur, à ce prix la, (cinquante cinq euros la chambre) il ne faut pas attendre des prestations extraordinaires. On est loin de ce que Ibis peut offrir parfois. On est plus dans la gamme etap hotel etc. A noter : - Mauvaise insonorisation générale. - Notre chambre sentait la fumée de cigarette. - Intérieur un peu vieillot. Hotel idéal par son calme, proche du terminus Hérouville du tramway de Caen. Hotel très calme. Inconvénient : pas de commerce à moins de 1.5km.
