"THE VIEW IS GOOD~"
THE POOL ON 9TH FLOOR IS GOOD COZ IT JUST NEXT TO THE BEACH, SO THE VIEW IS WONDERFUL BUT A BIT SMALL~~~ THE BAD THINGS ARE THE ROOM HASN'T GOT ENOUGH AIR-CONDITIONER, IT'S VERY HOT IN THE ROOM~ ALTHOUGH IT GOT 2 FANS, BUT IT'S ONLY MOVE SLOWLYYYYY.......... AND THE HOTEL IS A BIT FAR FROM GEORGETOWN.

my stay there was quite good and the service was above average. however, being in penang it is expected to try all the local fares and i found that the location of the hotel was not very conducive as most local food areas were not within walking distance. otherwise my overall stay was quite good.

"NORTHAM-convenience and space"
its a good hotel... if you dont get the top most floor! Location is good, view is good and room space is fantastic. The bathroom is huge and since the room comes as a suite, you have the additional space of a seperated tv corner and work area from your bed. However, maintenance could do with improvements and so too the restaurant where breakfast is […] served...bread was simply loaves that were emptied from bread packets sold on the street, the most boring form of cereal from boxes at the grocery, asian fare was boring and tasteless and there wasn't anything that stood out as part of the b'fast fare. Waiters were too lazy and had to be called to clear the table even when there were only 2 tables that were taken up at the time of our b'fast - 7am. During check in, the front office gave us a room on the top most floor which i thought would be fantastic but turned out to have weird loud noises from water pipes and constant drumming from water tanks i assume. The staffs pretended that they were not aware of the problem but i can tell you that those rooms should not even be given out to guests. They should have made up for giving us a terrible deal. It was impossible to hold a conversation without a headache and we dashed out even before night fall...impossible to sleep with the din. So avoid the top floors unless the hotel promises that they've seen to it. Having said that, in the room we changed to, I slept very well but not after getting the maintenace to clear water that was stagnant in the shower area as I had my bath. room can be given a coat of paint because it is rather dull and depressing colour, beige, and to top it, yellow lights. well, still i woulod return to the hotel because i think all these problems are small matters that can be rectified by simply boosting the motivation and morale of front office, maintenance, and restaurant! Too many maintenance issues AC should be adjustable or at least be able to be turned off.

The hotel was nice and staff friendly, but the service was lacking in the restaurant at breakfast and afternoon tea for what is 4 stars. Also the location is neither George Town or Gunney Drive. The pool was great and the drink on check-in was a very nice touch.

"GOOD LOCATION AND FACILITIES"
Great location and good value for money as we had three adults sharing a suite. As expected, things always go wrong, but the hotel was prompt in rectifying the problems. Swimming pool was again a big plus for us, although the facilities for showering after were lacking. Staff very helpful for booking taxi and reservations. Do not be fooled by the images of the ocean. This is not a resort, and is separated from a dire beach by two major roads. The pool is OK but the surrounds are spartan with no services or greenery. Service was generally abysmal with the nadir being the removal of used towels from my room by the house-keeper who left no replacements - somethng I discovered […] on leaving the shower. Dripping wet I found the house-keeper in the next room but was told I could not have replacement towels "till after 6.00pm". I ordered a white wine from room service and a red was delivered. They took this back and came back with a glass of sherry. When I complained the person told me "but it is white". Breakfast was mediocre, the room was not well cleaned etc etc. Avoid. スイートとはいえないスイートですが広さは満足できました。テレビが2台あるのも便利。部屋でwi-fiがフリーで使用できます。 ただ、楽しみにしていたお風呂のジャグジーのスイッチをいれたとたん湯垢のようなものが吹き出てきてビックリしました。それからは何を触るにも気持ちが悪くなってしまいました。 朝食もとりたてておいしいものはなく、お腹に入れるだけ。立地も悪くはないけれど歩いていけるところはなく、全体的にすべてがあともう1歩という感じです。
