Excellent comlimentary breakfast, comfy beds, rooms were small, but adequate, parking convenient and everything one might need (coffeemaker, refrigerator) were all there. This place was fantastic- the staff were all very helpful and the place was absolutely spotless. I had no weird feelings of "oh this is a hotel room- quick let's not let our clothes hit the floor". The hotel is close to the highway and to the hospital where I was attending a conference. A traffic light by the entrance made for easy in and out regardless of direction of travel. Our room did have a either a previously smoked in smell or a musty older house smell. We just opened the windows and aired it out and it was perfect. We did book from Hotels.com so we got a cheaper rated room, so it was located near the road and was a liitle loud durning the early evening and early morning. But it wasn't too bad later on, we could have […] asked them for another room I am sure they would have been more than happy to help. my boss had a king size bedroom closer to the office a little more back off the road. she had no coplaints. We loved this place! it was very clean and close to the I-95. The staff were helpful and friendly, The bed was comfy - we had a king. The rates were very reasonable. I have to say I was expecting a lot according to the reviews here, and I wasn't disappointed. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and are actually quite spacious. The bed was comfortable, and even though the hotel is actually right next to the highway, the rooms were soundproofed enough that we didn't hear anything. But the best part was the service. […] People at the counter were so friendly and helpful, it was fantastic. They greeted us by name every time we went to the lobby. I was truly remarkable. It takes about 5 minutes to drive into Portsmouth from the hotel, so the location is great, even though you can't simply walk into town.
