Room was clean. But one can tell that the hotel is in need of updating. Carpet was old and the bathroom showed signs of wear. Overall only needed a bed to sleep and a shower to clean off, so didn't spend much time in the unit.

"Worn property"
Rm 2011 has seen better days. The sink had hair in it. The top of toilet tank was dusty and had facial hairs on it. The toilet seat and lid had hair and urine on them. The ledge to put soap on in the shower had hair on it. The bathroom walls could use a good scrubbing. The sheets smelled like they had been in a smoking room prior to being put on a non-smoking […] room bed. The bedding was well-worn (bedskirt, comforter). I brought my own pillow. The bed was comfortable. The shower was adequate. Breakfast was toast, danish or muffins with coffee. Despite being close to a main thoroughfare it was a quiet night. It was a one-night visit and adequate for our needs, but I don't know if I'd stay there again without bringing my own cleaning supplies and bedding. As has been said, You get what you pay for. "Not what the pictures portray"
The hotel seemed nice online but was a very low quality hotel when you arrived. The continental breakfast consisted of muffins only. The rooms were very run down and not very clean. I just think that there should be an accurate representation of what you are purchasing prior to making your reservation.

"nice for a short stay"
Nice place to stay for a night or two. I stayed for training for work that was about 5 miles away. The only problem i had was there were holes in the comforter on the build. Nice, friendly service and overall was very clean.
My room was not very clean, very dusty, the bed was too soft and sheets keep coming off as they did not fit well. The overall appearance was getting towards the shabby side. Needs an update.

Bathroom was dirty, shower was dark by dirt. Price was high for a Red Roof, like staying in a Knight Inn, dirty.

Went there for a conference that I was attending for the weekend. Took my mother with me, since she was free and she was going to stay in the hotel while I was at the conference. I paid an extra 20 dollars for a late check out of 5pm. My mother called me at 3 saying that the cleaning people were trying to get in to the room with out knocking and with […] the do not disturb sign on the door. On top of the the man at the desk was incredibly rude and ignored us when we stopped to ask him a question. I will never be staying there again and do not recommend this hotel to anyone! This room was small, but clean. I would recommend others to stay there and I would return.
Staff was nice and very helpful. Hotel was average. I wasn't a huge fan of the neighborhood but we made it through the weekend with no problems. The fire alarm went off at 3 in the morning which was a little annoying. For the price we couldn't be happier. We would stay here again.
"Never Again"
Recently stayed here for a couple of nights. This hotel is in a VERY sketchy location and I never once felt safe. There were people yelling in the parking lot until 3:30 am, the fire alarm went off at 4:30 am (I felt safer staying in my room and risking there was actually a fire, than stepping foot in the hall), and the front desk man acted annoyed […] when I asked him the next morning why the fire alarm went off. Also, this is not a clean place. Stains on my bed sheets, a ring in the toilet bowl, and none of the lamps were plugged in when we got to our room. I cannot believe this place is still in business. "Red Roof Inn - Ohio Fairgrounds - first and last"
Although the room rate was a pretty good deal, I would not stay here again. The room & hotel were very outdated. The toilet made a flushing sound randomly the entire night - front desk suggested I giggle the handle = not helpful. The internet and cable also went out for a few hours. Wonder why they don't mention the fact that this hotel has no elevator […] and only stairs to get into hotel and up to second floor but yet they have a baggage trolley - I guess that's only for the pleasure of the first floor guests. "Continental Breakfast"
Truly a continental breakfast with only coffee, tea, hot chocolate, light wheat and white bread for toast, and some small danishes and muffins. No juice or any cereal. I have been spoiled by the motels that give so much more when they say 'continental breakfast'. Just don't expect much at this hotel. But the price was right. So I can't really complain. […] I would recommend this hotel for anyone who just wants a place to sleep. A bit small though for 4 people, but okay for 2-3. Only double beds. Baca selanjutnya
"Cheap, but nice"
Stayed here for business 1 night. really has all you can expect for the price, and then some. Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet. Morning breakfast lounge was simple, with plenty of fresh danish and the normal things you find at continental breakfast.

"Red Roof -Columbus Fair Grounds OK"
Was a decent nights sleep for the night I was there, but was hoping for a better continental breakfast bar. I've stayed at other hotels that offer at least some hot breakfast choices, this one was more of just a coffee bar and danish / donut stop.

"In town for Quarterhorse Congress"
This was really a super deal for 3 nights including taxes for less than adjacent properties charge for 2 plus taxes. Really the only thing that was weak was the breakfast, which consisted of previously frozen danish, mini muffins, and bread, along with a coffee machine. Some juices would have made this better, or even having juice available in one of […] the vending machines would have been sufficient. The neighborhood is pretty nasty, with openly visible hookers, even in daytime! but hey, maybe that's a plus for some guys, and you could pay quite a bit more and only be a few hundred feet away at other motels. This was a very run down hotel with poor service; I cannot believe it has the chail affiliation. Room was old, musty, bed saggy; wake up calls not provided as set all three mornings; cleaning staff walked in w/o knocking, but one each day only made be and put in towels, no other pick up. "Good,Priced right, Hotel"
Hotel was a little above the 3.5 rating. It was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. A good place to stay on business or visiting the surrounding area. We will use it again.

WIth the price tag, it is worth the money. Facilities are ok, very simple breakfast and short distance to downtown Columbus

My husband and I booked this for our son for the days before his wedding. We stopped in the lobby to see him and found the place to be quite dirty. Even the parking lot had a lot of trash around it. We didn't make it up to the room to see what it looked like and of course with a wedding on our minds we didn't ask. "Columbus, OH State Fairgrounds"
I know where the Fairground property is - which is why I selected this location ... it was no where near the fairgrounds (which is not far off campus) near exit 109. This hotel is off exit 117 (off route 71). The hotel was actually very convenient for what we needed; the sheets on the beds were stained - which is a negative - but the room was actually […] very nice and the beds were comfortable! "Pleasant stay"
Room was clean, hotel was fairly quiet, easy to get to off of 71. Nice work out room. Only place for improvement was the continental breakfast. Basically, danishes, muffins, or toast and a selection of coffees or hot chocolate. Would have appreciated the option of milk or juice at least. Maybe a couple cold cereals. Other than that, it was nice.

"RED ROOF COLUMBUS NORTH"
NO amenities in room - no fridge,no microwave, no internet, no coffee. Coffee in lobby free but NO cream for coffee - when asked they didn't know what cream was. Lamp broken in room - had to plug in to work and switch was broken. I would NOT recommend this motel as I felt that for the money paid it should have included SOME amenities as other motels […] do and should NOT have had broken items in rooms. Baca selanjutnya
