H10 Raco Del Pi - Barcelona

a great weekend, this was my second stay at this hotel, my last visit was 10 years ago. Location is excellent and the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, they booked restaurants for us etc

Extremely central location and very friendly helpful staff. Very good value for money breakfast and particularly appreciated free afternoon refreshments and cake. Room was comfortable and very clean.

Upon arrival at the hotel the staff welcomed us with a glass of cava and bowls full of pistachios, peanuts and corn nuts - very Spain! This is a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of the old city with winding cobblestone streets, lovely shops and nice restaurants. Nothing we wanted to see was more than a 20 minute walk. The room was spacious, the […] bathroom had a jetted tub, shower and window for gazing at the stars while bathing, and a balcony over the lovely street. For two women traveling it felt very safe, even after a late dinner. Only drawback was the taxi from the airport did not have a permit to go into the very heart of the old city where our hotel was. We were only 2 blocks away but got lost anyway (the streets are very narrow and winding!). When we left for the airport the concierge had a taxi waiting for us at the door. We had an extended weekend with my mother. We had two roms which were like prison cells. A small tiny window was there but other wise on a skylight. I really felt it uncomfortable the breakfast was fine. They had a special price on the breakfast so this is ok, but if this can not be given eat outside the hotel.

You will not find a hotel with a better location for the price than this one, and the staff is absolutely wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Raco Del Pi - I will stay here again when I return to Barcelona!

The location is perfect - down a little traffic free lane in the charming Gothic area. The hotel staff were simply lovely and very helpful with good advice for restaurants. It's a lovely very old building which has been refurbished very well. We were sorry to leave and highly recommend it.

The location of this hotel is prime. The staff is very friendly. The only thing that we weren't crazy about was the beds, we are a married couple, and the they had to single beds placed together... Other than that, we really liked the place. We would go back

A super hotel, 5 mins from las rambla and close to transportation. Staff were excellent and the room was lovely with little touches often only found in more expensive hotels. The hotel was nice and the location was good, but you could hear everything that was happening in the hall VERY well. Also, we got a room with very small windows that was at floor level (you had to almost lay on the floor to open them). The beds was really hard and not very comfortable. Location was very good - close to many sites and a metro ride away from others. We did have a couple of problems. They told Hotels.com that we could have a temporary room since we were arriving in Barcelona in the morning. When we got there they said we could leave our bags but we couldn't get into our room until the afternoon. The room was clean but […] very very small. They also advertised safes in the room. When we got there we were informed that there would be a daily charge to have the key to the safe in our own room. This hotel is in a fantastic city centre location with shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep. We received a very friendly welcome and this continued throughout our stay. A Clean, modern room. Mattress a little on the firm side but other than this cannot grumble. I would certainly recommend this hotel!!

This hotel has a great location and offers an outstanding value. The rooms are not large, but they're adequate. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the glass of Cava is a nice touch. My sole complaint was temperature control in the room (pretty nonexistent), but fortunately the fall climate made it not much of an issue.

only stayed 1 night. Very central just off La Ramba. Rooms and service good for price.

This is my second time staying in this hotel. It is probably more suited to a couple as the rooms are not very big. Staff were great, it was good value and very comfortable. Fine for a place to sleep - you would not really spend time there during the day.

Great location in old town close to buses, restaurants and all amenities. Unfortunately room had twin beds with wheels which caused the beds to separate and one could fall between ! Otherwise we were very satisfied with everything including the helpfulness and friendliness of reception staff. Well done...would love to visit again.

We stayed 3 nights early March. Fantastic location in the Gothic Quarter, charming small hotel and a great marriage of old building / modern interior. Rooms are not big but very adequate – beware if offered a “Petit Double” on the internet, these are very small rooms. Compact en-suite, good shower, plenty of hot water. Everything clean and well-attended. […] Friendly helpful staff. Complimentary welcome Cava very enjoyable idea, as is the help-yourself anytime coffee and pastries bar. Breakfast unnecessarily expensive but there are many cafes nearby all with great coffee. Although it is a traffic-free street high ambient noise was the big downside for us. The tall buildings and narrow alleys amplify every sound. Late at night the rubbish truck is first then the street washing truck, and they are loud! Homebound revellers at 3am is one thing, but night skateboarders and roller skaters on those uneven flagstones is something else. There’s a small concert venue adjacent too. This city does not sleep! If you do need to sleep, don’t be tempted by the scenic balcony rooms, choose a room overlooking the inner courtyard or on the upper floors at the rear. The staff made the hotel. They are incredibly friendly, recommended outstanding restaurants, provided good travel advice, and even found train schedules for us to Valencia. The staff greeted us upon our arrival with a glass of Cava and a warm welcome to Barcelona. This is a chic hotel and we found it to be an incredible value. For the rate paid, H10 Raco Del Pi exceeded our expectations. Room was European compact, but nicely furnished in a modern style. Bath was large with more toiletries then we typically find in much higher end hotels. Front desk staff were uniformly friendly and helpful and spoke good English. On check-in we were told breakfasts were a few euros below […] their "regular" price. For the quality and quantity of options offered the lower price was reasonable though cheaper continental breakfasts are available steps from the hotel. Raco del Pi is on a pedestrian street in the middle of the Barrio Gothic - close to most historic sites. Finding it the first time if unfamiliar with Barcelona is a challenge. From the welcome glass of Cava to the free afternoon tea/coffee and croissants. The staff at this hotel did their best to make us feel welcome.It is only a couple of minutes walk from the Plaza de Catalunya, the bus stop from the airport, and one minute to the Ramblas. Couldn't have been any more convenient.

Great location, good hotel close to everything you need with helpful staff. Went in November and had 3 straight days of 23 degress with clear skies and sunshine - great time to visit Barcelona and this hotel.

There are not enough nice things I can say about this hotel. The location is fabulous--in the heart of the Barri Gothic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a glass of Cava upon check in, and gave us a wonderful room overlooking the street. The public spaces of the hotel and our room were very stylish. I guess if I had to find something […] remotely lacking, the beds were too firm for my taste. We did not have breakfast, so I cannot comment on that--if you like croissant and cafe, there are many places nearby to find that. Perfect location - close to everything we needed to get to and even those few sites we didn't know we would want to see. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. They greeted our every return with a glass of champagne! The room was a bit small but the street was quiet and safe and we would recommend this to everyone. We ended up passing on the breakfast […] (which was not included) because there were so many nice little places around to pick from. We had a blast at this hotel. A very nice hotel situated in the old town, the perfect location for any tourist looking to enjoy Barcelona. Most of the attractions were a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel (at most) with some much much closer. The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating. Next time in Barcelona, it will be no question where I will […] stay. I would recommend taking a taxi to the hotel first, as it can be rather difficult to find the first time on your own. Great Hotel, in the best location. It is hard to find, though, but it is walking distance from many, many things. Perfect. My one complaint is that we stayed in October, and they had already disabled the A/C for the season, and it was unusually warm. We did sweat a bit both nights as it was warmer than we are used to. The Gothic Quarter is an good starting point to explore Barcelona and this is a good value-for-money hotel in a renovated old building. Nice bathroom! Staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't include breakfast but there are lots of possibilities nearby, including wonderful fruit in the nearby market (La Boqueria). The hotel represents itself as a more high-end hotel, but it is too small, shoddy, and overpriced. Also, they try to push their overpriced breakfast on you.

Decent sized rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location just off the Ramblas in busy area, but no problems with noise. Clean and tidy. Nice touches like glass of Cava upon arrival and free coffee on the bar.

One minus - air conditioner works only from June.

Dette hotellet innfridde på alle områder. Herlig og oppmerksom service, nydelig frokost og en beliggenhet som er helt overlegen. Anbefales!

Koselig, lite hotell som ligger midt i smørøyet. Man kan gå til alt. Selv om det er myldrende liv i gatene om dagen så hører man ingen ting på rommet. Deilig frokost og hyggelig personal. Skal vi til Barcelona igjen blir dette hotellet.

vi var veldig tilfreds med hotellet og dets betjening. Det eneste minuset for oss var en veldig hard seng. Hadde denne blitt byttet ut med en bløtere, ville det blitt kjempebra! Beliggenheten var meget sentral, og alle vi var i kontakt med var svært imøtekommende!

Kan kun sige godt om hotellet. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. God service. Hotellet ligger yderst centralt med 5 min. enten til Ramblaen, metrostation, bus eller Domkirkepladsen. Morgenmaden er en buffet (der mangler ikke noget) og om eftermiddagen er der kaffe og crossainter til fri afbenyttelse. Vi vender helt bestemt tilbage til hotellet.

Gebucht war ein Doppelzimmer (kein kleines Doppelzimmer), wir bekamen ein Zimmer mit einem 120cm breiten Bett! Nach Beschwerde wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass alle Betten so klein seien und dass eh keine anderen Zimmer mehr frei wären. Die Lage des Hotels ist super, aber weiterempfehlen kann ich es nicht!

vi havde bestilt 2 overnatninger med dobbeltseng 1. nat fik vi kun en enkeltseng og et rum hvor vi ikke begge kunne stå på gulvet samtidig. 2 nat lidt større send, og lidt større værelse, men ikke et hotel der lever op til normal standard. Kan ikke anbeflaes

Living few minutes walk from Pl Nuovo, Las Ramblas and still have a totally silent night i the room is unique. The service is in top - you are welcomed with a glass of Cava and will be met with a smile in the reception at any time. My next time in Barcelona will most likely be at the Raco del Pi.

Das "Kleine Doppelzimmer", das wir gebucht hatten, stellte sich als ein kleines Einzelzimmer mit einem etwas breiteren Bett heraus. Darauf wies die Mitarbeiterin schon beim Einchecken hin, ein echtes Doppelzimmer war dann nur gegen einen erheblichen Aufpreis zu haben und nach kurzer Bedenkzeit nicht mehr frei. Das Personal reagierte auf Kritik äusserst […] unfreundlich. Das Zimmer wäre allenfalls für ein inniges Pärchen passend gewesen. Es gab keinerlei Platz oder Ablage für Koffer o.ä. Die in der Not auf dem Fussboden deponierten Zeitschriften wurden vom Zimmermädchen entsorgt. Baca selanjutnya

Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale, perfekt beliggenhet i et rolig men veldig sentralt strøk i Barcelona! Her bor vi gjerne igjen:)

Rigtig lækkert hotel. Ligger perfekt i den de gamle gaders snørklede labyrinter Vi fik dog tildelt et værelse på 4. sal ud mod gaden. Værelset havde 2 små ovenlys vinduer + et lille vindue i fodhøjde, hvorfra man kunne skimte gaden igennem gavlkrummelurene. Meget ubehageligt, når man besidder klaustrofobiske tendenser. Så sørg for at bemærke til hotellet […] at vindue ønskes, hvilket jeg tog for givet:) Baca selanjutnya
