"Close to airport but dated."
I'm spoiled by the newer Holiday Inn Express hotels. This location must have been a conversion of an older hotel. You get all the benefits of the hotel chain but in old style hotel rooms. I was in a first floor room with outside spotlights that keep my room aglow all night. It was too late and I was too tired to ask for a room change. I'll stay elsewhere […] next time. Nice accommodations; breakfast was great with hot items including eggs and bacon. Easy access from the airport.

Hotel was very clean. Beds were comfy, shower/bathtup was NOT clogged which I always seem to find everywhere else and the free breakfast was great!! I would definitely stay again! The pool/hot tub were very much enjoyed by our kids too!

"Holiday Inn Express-Austin Airport"
Was a nice clean hotel, didnt get room i reserved over the phone with a hotel.com rep. Hotel gave us a handicap accesible room, big, but not what i wanted. i would call the hotel to make sure of the rooms before i book again.

This hotel is in a good condition. But it has to pay for deposit. I don't know why. It costs you 150 dollars. Be sure to have a credit card with you. Overall, it's recommended.
"OK stay, $300 securtiy deposit, DANGER!!!!"
Placed $150 fee on debit card for both nights stayed, essentially tying up $300 in my bank account. Would be returned in 2 to 5 business days. Have stayed at other hotels and they did not have this policy. Not acceptable.
"Life is Good"
While it was awesome to be in Austin, there were 2 negatives. The hot tub was still broken and we thought our bed and bathroom were for very short people. We had upgraded to a king-size bed suite, but were given a queen. A bus full of very tall college volleyball players had just checked in and this may have been a factor.

Everything was excellent, the room, the pool, the service, the employees, the hot breakfast. I love HIExpress and will stay with them again and again. WiFi, iron, microwave, just like a little apartment. I could live there.

Stayed several days visiting several family members in the area. Good central location need a car since Austin is so spread out, minutes from downtown. Staff helpful and friendly, room was very large with a desk which I needed for lap top work,and sofa, friends came over and relaxed and talked before heading out. Free substancial breakfast AND free […] lunch was better than most resturants, not just cold coffee and stale danish. They also have a happy hour everynight at a bar set up in comfortable lobby. the hotel was right off the freeway, in the same parking lot of a Dennys, and behind it was a beautiful walkway, around a creek. The breakfast was great, with excellent coffee, which I can't start my day without. The ladies at the front desk were friendly at all hours, and helpful. "Good hotel for the money"
Nice hotel. The hot tub was under construction, which was a little disappointing. Our air conditioner was also quite loud. The pool was nice and the service was pretty good. Great breakfast.

""Wonderful Stay""
I wasn't sure about the Hotel because I had read another review that did not speak very well of the Holiday Inn Express. I was satisfied with my stay. Rooms were clean, continental breakfast was satisfying, well equipped fitness room and comfortable bed and pillows; quiet nights.
"Great room for the money"
Very friendly staff. Close to airport with shuttle service. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious.
"Not what I expected"
After checking in, our room key did not work. The clerk said she would bring us another one, but we finally had to go get it on our own. The furniture was old, the bathroom did not have enough light. The sofa sleeper blanket has a huge stain on it. When we went to get coffee in the dining area all six dispensers were empty. The clerk had told us that […] yes there was always coffee available.
