location is good and it is close to many good restaurants around. The room is also very nice and large. I enjoyed my stay there very much. I will certainly come back again.

Good location, close to shuttle bus-stop to Hong Kong. 24-hour fast food shops nearby providing flexible meals. Rooms are big enough and facilities are in good condition. Definitely worth the price.

This is a renowned 5-star hotel, so I have high expectations. However, the staff made promises which they can't honour, no matter they are mistakes or not. First, I enquired about the shuttle bus service provided by the hotel. I was reassured that I could get on a bus right after getting off the train from Shenzhen. I did tell the staff that I would […] not be taking direct train from hk, but the high speed rail from shenzhen. Upon my arrival at guangzhou east station, i found out the shutle bus isn't as frequent as the staff said. Then, when I checked in, I asked for a room with Liuhua Lake view. I was told such a room is available. Yet, when I entered the room, I found out I wasn't offered what the staff promised. On the other day, I asked for directions to Hunagpu Military academy, a key tourist spot. I was told the only transport means was taxi. The staff did nothing to look for ferry schedule. Then, I missed the only ferry to Huangpu. These mistakes are somewhat fundamental. I don't expect them from such a 5-star. Please work on the basics first. To be fair, the hardware of this hotel is not bad. The rooms are spacious and clean, so are the fitness room and table tennis room. Yet, VPN cannot be enabled when you are using the hotel free WIFI connection, which means you can't access facebook, msn, gmail and so on. Baca selanjutnya

Smooth check in and check out. People are helpful but no smile. Nice lobby with Christmas decoration. Room is clean and comfort bed, good to have connecting room to take care of my child and elderly. Good location.

I was given a free upgrade and the room was fantastic.

Great location and friendly staff. Good size rooms. Very large hotel so be prepared to walk long corridors to the lifts. Good hotel restaurants and the concierge staff are extremely polite and helpful. Good priced hotel and amenities close by.

A very nice hotel with staff who are eager to help. Very convenient and luxurious shuttles to the Canton fair. It is also close to wholesale markets. A nice spa, swimming pool and a comfortable room. All in all - a very pleasant experience.

The hotel is in great location. Was pleasantly surprised with the level of service quality to be found in this state owned hotel. The room is really clean. Its not true the beds are hard to sleep in!

We enjoyed our 5 day stay in the Dong Fang hotel. The room is clean, modern, and comfortable. We especially liked the bathroom because it had a separate shower and a bath tube. Our room over looked the large outdoor swimming pool. The hotel staff behaved professionally and were friendly and courteous. Superior Suite was very roomy. Hotel is old and needs to be updated but rooms are clean. Everything is very dark. Internet service is excellent. Hallway carpeting was not clean. Breakfast buffet was very good. Shuttle service to Canton fair was fine but in traffic it can take up to 45 minutes. This is a very nice hotel even though the exterior looks a bit out-dated. The courtyard is refreshing that if you can have a stroll. Breakfast buffet is outstanding. The room is comfortable. I will come back and stay at this place again.

We travelled for the Cantor fair and stayed for 4 days. THe hotel was superb with large spacious rooms. Service was top class except over the show period the prices jumped up. Will stay there again.

when u book a room you actually book a suite,the rooms is large with sofa and 2 tv ,kitchen and dining table really its good and not expensive at all,the swimming pool is large and beautiful,you will feel luxury but dont never go without your copy of reservation,in reception they dont understand

The hotel is a good hotel and to who is no enthusiast of Chinese food you have a MacDonalds at walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. But the restaurants close early and there is no 24hrs service in terms of food, just the MacDonalds if you walk to it. On the room the bed is not 100% but it is ok, the shower varies a lot in temperature […] but the size of the room is really good. If you plan to stay on the garden area at dusk or night, be aware... their mosquitos are very hungry... at least on May. But if you like... you will be pleased to stay at this hotel. They also have a good exchange rate service, so if you go to this hotel and have other currencies, exchange what you need for the taxi, there you can exchange what you will need. The surroundings are not excellent, so if you have a free day or a free time you sure will need a cab somewhere, and describe well what you need to the concierge, else... you can end up on the wrong places, like I did, because they are not fully fluent in english. A Five star at a super price. The room was huge and the service great. I could live there for months and be comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out. There is a terrific park across the street, good for walking and people watching. Other than that, the neighborhood was not so hot.. but the hotel makes up for it. I will stay there again.

弟との旅行でツインの部屋を利用しました。ホテル自体はとても清潔で満足できます。立地については旧市街に近くお店が周りにあまりないので、その点では不便利かと。またホテルをちょっと出ると不快な匂いのする海鮮料理屋があり、これには参りました。。。息止めてないとしんどかったです。

В целом пребывание было приятным, но цена на период весенней выставки (апрель) высокая. Общее состояние интерьеров хорошее, но в моем номере мебель была довольно старая. Удобный доступ в Интернет - по WiFi. Завтраки хорошие, за исключением фруктов - зрелыми были только арбузы. Удобное расположение рядом с метро. Первый раз попробовала воспользоваться […] метро - все получилось без проблем, т.к. внутри очень удобная система покупки билетов и понятная навигация, в том числе и куда какой выход ведет. Удобная зона для шоппинга - Пешеходная улица Beijing street - всего 2 станции на метро. А пешком можно сходить в расположенный через дорогу сад (подземный переход там же, где спуск в метро). 最初にホテルの規模「大きさに」驚きました。 これまで泊まったホテルではＮＯ１かと・・・ 宿泊はエクゼクティブスイート！！ 入ってびっくり 充実したクローク・カウンターバー等々 今回は仕事で使いましたが、書斎も大変使いやすく 難なくデスクワークをこなすことができました。 強いて難点を言うなら・・・ トイレの便座がウォシュレット出ない事。 それぐらいです。 また、広州へ行った際はお世話にあなろうと思っております。

房間大,幾舒適!近地鐵,幾方便!但設計似多年的酒店,以及人手不足,CHECK IN和CHECK OUT都比較慢!ROOM SERVICE的食物不好食!但比起其他酒店的價格不算貴!

■よかった点 ・繁華街からは２駅 ・駅から徒歩１～２分 ・徒歩５分以内に大きな公園があり、その中のお粥の店 　がおいしかった。 ・広州空港に行く場合もタクシーがホテル前にいて、 　高速乗り場も近いので渋滞なく朝7時半だったが 　約30分で到着した。 ・部屋も大きく、シャワー室とバスタブが独立している。 ・エレベーターもルームキーを押さないと階ボタンが 　押せない方式でセキュリティでＯＫ。 ・ベットのスプリングも硬すぎず柔らかすぎず快適。 ■悪かった点 ・インタネットは無線ＬＡＮなら無料だが、有線だと 　有料なのは困る。無線と有線の違いがわからない。 ・ネットで宿泊費は支払済みなのに、チェックインの際、 　デポジットを要求されるのはどうかと・・・ 　（当然、チェックアウト時に返却されたが）

9月21日から4泊の予定で宿泊をしました。 9月21日は台風の影響で2時間遅れで11時３０分ごろ チェックインでしたが予約が入っていないから宿泊は駄目といわれでびっくり。 初めて宿泊するホテルだからか 友達の中国人を深夜電話で叩き起こし後は交渉してもらい予約名簿を再チェックして私の名前がありましたが 予約したグレードの部屋はなく狭い添乗員が宿泊するような部屋でした。

Don´t visit Macau Street restaurant, bad service, cold food. First time to visit a Chinese restaurant that had forgot to boil rice.

Selve hotellet er fint. Det er kan på visse steder måske virke en lille smule slidt, men virkelig godt til prisen. Store behagelige senge og rummelige værelser. Dog bør man være opmærksom på ikke at spise på Restaurant Macau nær hotellet. Maden er ikke noget særligt, men det værste er, at de snyder med falske penge.

Solo puedo escribir cosas buenas de este hote , el precios que se paga es muy bajo para la calidad del hotel , desde que llegue recibi un exelente trato desde el bell boy hasta la mucama , las instalaciones son exelentes , tienes unos jardines y alberca hermosos , la comida del buffet es muy buena y para todos los paladares del mundo , la ubicacion […] es un poco retirada de la feria pero tienen servicio de shuttle para la feria , esta a 30 mins del aereopuerto y tambien tienen servicio de shuttle en pocas palabras ! muy recomendable Baca selanjutnya

The main problem of the hotel is the Internet connection. It is really low velocity! A single web page takes a lot of time to load. Voip? Forget... Internet connection should be improved!

Lo mejor del hotel la terraza al borde del estanque en el jardín. Buena situación pues tiene el metro a la puerta.

Practicamente nadie hable ingles en el hotel, cuando preguntas por informacion para conocer la ciudad nadie da informacion valiosa,el piso ejecutivo no sirve para nada, hay 2 alas en el hotel una viejisima que lamentablemente fue en donde me toco y me fue imposible cambiar al ala nueva por que no tuve manera de comunicarme con las personas del lobby, […] el cafe donde es el bufett occidental en la noche es pesimo sumado a que por supuesto nadie habla ingles lo que hace que hasta pedir una cerveza sea algo complicadisimo, existe un nivel de incompetencia colectiva dificil de creer ,la ubicacion no es para nada la mas conveniente si estan visitando por negocios o por la feria no duden en quedarse en el GARDEN HOTEL o BAIYUN, sin lugar a duda estan ubicados en la mejor zona para los occidentales y son extremadamente superior. very nice hotel, staff is pro(not to good with english) good situation but there is one big problem. Most of the room are pretty noisy, no double window, so you can hear traffic all day and all night!

Veldig bra hotell ekstremt god service, men det ser litt slitent ut.

jeg har været ovenud tilfreds med min overnatning på Dong fang Hotel, lige fra jeg ankom medtoget ind på stationen, hvor jeg blev transporteret ud til hotellet og til jeg blev sat af på stationen dagen efter. Kan varmt anbefales for god service, pæne omgivelser, dejlig morgenmad.
