Hotel Subur - Sitges

VERY happy with the hotel; some of which are a little on the small side & the walls are quite thin but the staff are great, the wifi works (!) and it's great value!

We really were not expecting much for the price we paid but were truly shocked! Great modern clean hotel, that is not at all noisy, great location! Will be going back in a few weeks, we loved our walks for sitges and the lively bars, really safe cute spanish town

Hotel Subur is right on the beach and close to the train station and bus stop where connect you to Barcelona. We staied for a week. The service of front desk was quite nice, the room is nice and clean. The bed was something I wasnt satisfied but others are ok.

An OK hotel, it is probably the best value hotel you will find for its location in front of the beach. Room was fine, not the cleanest but I tend to be quite relax with that, I am just in the room to sleep... Sitges is a great place, never get enough of it!

Hotel location was good; right in front of the sea & perhaps a 10 minute walk from the train station.. Room was clean and an ok size. My room was facing onto a small quite street by day. However, the street became VERY noisy at night! The best treat for me was the small balcony. I found staff very unfriendly & not helpful. stayed here before thought give it another try went for penthouse room. joke matchbox with no light. will never stay here again. staff at reception not much help. place a lot quieter than usual. i can understand why.

Wonderfully situated, comfortable hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful from the cleaning staff to the painters to the restaurant staff - with the exception of two of their receptionists who were totally unfriendly.

well the location is great rite on beach front ...pleanty of restaurants and shops around....rooms are very small...very small almost like walk in closet....but worst of all is shower...its about 2 feet buy 2 feet with a shower cutain around two sides....you cant even move in there water slashes thru bathroom ...tv had only 4 channels...but on the good […] side very claen...hotel emploees friendly and helpful...room service if wanting and very good lacation...take monbus to hotel instead of taxi from bcn to sitges...its only 3.10 euros....ooo ps....its a gay community lots of gays around....but very safe Baca selanjutnya

Stayed here one night prior to departing from Barcelona the next morning. An older hotel, nothing too fancy. Front desk was polite and efficient. Didn't press them for any services, so can't say how well they would pull through if there were any problems. Small-ish room with balcony overlooked the ocean. Nice place if you don't expect opulence, as the […] fittings are simple and not current. Mattress was a recent 'memory foam' type, very comfortable, sheets are quality linen. Many restaurants to choose from in immediate vicinity. I would go back, especially if I lucked out and got another ocean view. I'm sure others would think this hotel is old and shabby, but it doesn't pretend to be anything fancy in the first place. It's reasonably clean and things that are supposed to work do work. It's too bad that this hotel suffers from poor service staff. Almost everyone in the front desk and the in Sports Bar are just rude (with the exception of one person in the morning who serviced the buffet). I speak fluent English and Spanish and the attitude towards guest is appalling. Seems like every answer is "NO". Can we have another room because […] the WIFI signal stops just before our room..NO, can we do this .. NO .. can we do that.. NO. As stated above, don't depend on the WIFI on this hotel because it's horrible (non-existent in our room). I have a feeling that they advantage of the tourists because of their locale. The cleaning staff, on the other hand, are very nice and helpful. So be careful. Baca selanjutnya

it is a 3*hotel with 2* service The staff was efficient but busy and somewhat impersonal; very clean but very basic rooms. Great location!

Great staff at the front desk, for us and for others. Location is good, but condition quickly drops the score from good or great to just mediocre. I'd rank as 3-stars, maybe, but keep your shoes on at all times. Felt dirty, partly because of the great location along the shore with ocean air deteriorating the property. Great staff!!!!

Hotel Subur is not the best kept hotel but the staff is pleasant and the location can not be beat. You are minutes away from everything in Sitges and just steps away from the beach.

Knowing the hotel from staying nearby in Sitges before , I specifically requested a sea view room for my reservation expecting one facing the sea. I seemed to get a very good rate from Hotels. Com , however the room I was given was at the side of the hotel where , if you leaned over the balcony you could in fact see the sea! Not what I was expecting. […] When I enquired I was told this was classified as a sea view room! So be wary, make sure you get a room at the front of the hotel if this is important to you. This is the only thing that spoiled a very pleasant stay. The balconies are generously sized and beds comfortable and clean. The hotel can get a little noisy later at night with people coming and going and talking , playing music on their balconies etc ...but this is a late night holiday resort so this is to be expected to some degree. Very small room and uncomfortable bed. PRIME location and you can't beat the price. Great spot for back packers.

This hotel was definately NOT 3* - barely a 1* Im afraid. The hotel is in an excellent area and Sitges is beautiful. The hotel staff were not rude, but certainly not welcoming and interact minimally. The room was very basic, and decorated with minimum characteristic. It was dull and grey and VERY small. There was an air-conditioning unit on the balcomy […] which had seen better days and the room we had 113 was extremely noisy from the street below. It was difficult to get a good nights sleep. This hotel is in prime location! Super duper cheap and the beds are uncomfortable, bathrooms is smaller than our pantry, the television never worked but it we were never there.

The hotel was very nice but the noise really carries throughout the hotel. The annoying Spanish girls in room 206 who came home at 5am were VERY inconsiderate, loud and unconcerned by their disruption to the other guests. They were the same in the afternoon when they were preparing to go out again..non-stop talk at high volume and speed. The hotel itself […] was good value for money. Baca selanjutnya

We went to Silken Concordia on our return from a weekend away with friends for a night stopover in BCN. We really enjoyed our stay there, the hotel is very clean, the rooms comfortable (the bed was huge!) and it was great value for money location-wise. The only problem with it was that tit was a bit noisy in the room which was on the street side. However, […] we will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to Barcelona. Baca selanjutnya

We found broken glass in bathroom on arrival when we informed reception were told impossible must be us who had dropped the glass !!!!!! Eventually the receptionist came to see the room and still maintained it was ourselves who had dropped the glass - had we have done so we'd have cleared it up.The fridge in room was not functioning this was replaced […] but was smalled than original one which was used as a tv stand . Have stayed here a few times over the years but never again, the hotel is tired looking but we knew this, the attitude of the staff is digusting. Will not stay here again. Baca selanjutnya

Satyed at the hotel Subur multiple times over the years...stayed in a Penthouse room this time for the extra space and was extremely satisfied., loved the private balcony with lounge chairs...the saff is very responsive to needs...the location can't be beat!!

The hotel looks better on the outside then on the inside. My bedroom was ok, far from great, but good enough to stay for one night. The phone in the room was not working, the mattress was not very comfortable, the shower was not great. The location of the Hotel was fantastic. Very convenient.

For the money, the hotel was ok, however the room was quite small and basic. Hardwood floors needed refinishing or rugs to soften the decor. A bit basic for my needs, but was ok for the money.

This hotel got the greatest locations, it's in the middle of everything . Service were not so good. First when we checked in the hotel, the room got no hot water. And later on it's got no running water. I meant not even water to flush the toilet. Front desk staff are not so helpful, and when I complained about water, he simply gave me one small bottle […] of water. That it's......just not much they can do or help Baca selanjutnya

The hotel is right on the beach and near other cafes and restaurants. The first room they offered me had a lock (glass door leading to the porch) that was not properly functioning. I was concerned for my safety and they right away gave me another room. I expected that their restaurant would be different and not an american-like sports bar.

The Location is great. The rest was not good. Our room was small, our bed was small, we asked for another room with a larger bed, they said all the beds are the same. The picture on the website is a lie, only the deluxe rooms look like that, the other rooms are pretty crappy. Walls drab brown with darker brown trim. There were no decoration in the room, […] nor paintings on the wall. Tiny bathroom. Street noisy most of the time. Great side View to the ocean, good size balcony. However we discovered that in the morning we were bitten by bed bugs, infact some were still crawling on the sheets. Disusting. After much haggeling with the staff, they allowed us to switch to another room. This was even a smaller room. Same color of walls, no decoration, and smaller balcony. Tiny bathroom with a tiny shower. Staff unfriendly. The Sports Bar Restaurant is horrible, we waited for forever to get menus. When she came with the menus she said "I already gave you these, what did you do with them?" I told her that we just sat down. She then realized that we were indeed different people. The prices were outrageous, and they even charge more money, I think it was 5% to the tab if you sit outside on the patio, which we were sitting there. The waitress actually never came back to take our order, so we ended up walking out. I would not reccomend this place. fint hotell till bra pris. Hårda sängar utan bäddmadrass. Dyr frukost och inget internet om man inte hade egen dator eller ville betala dyrt för hotellets i lobbyn.

Som vanlig meget bra og spesielt betjeningen i sporstbaren

slitet rum med dålig internetanslutning, mindre än på bilderna, men nära hav och mysiga gågator vilket gav ett plus

vi trodde det skulle vara perfekt att bo precis vid stranden och det hade nog varit bättre om det inte regnade mest. Nästa gång kommer vi bo i Barcelona istället. Man hörde allt från korridoren och gatan vilket gjorde att det var extremt svårt att sova. Dessutom var personalen på hotellet inte alls trevlig och hälsade inte ens då man gick förbi. TODO PERFECTO!!!!

Très bel emplacement à côté du centre ville et des rues animées. Cependant le manque des doubles vitrages aux fenêtres nous à fait passer des nuits blanches ......Le bruit des sorties de bars et le nettoyage de la rue au petit matin. Nous avons pu profiter de toute la vie nocturne et matinale de Sitges !

Vi har reservert et appartement i toppetasjen og dette var vi ganske fornøyde med. Hotellet er litt eldre, men det er rent og har sjarm. Det er tillatt dyr i hotellet og det fikk vi høre en natt, da en hund i naborommet bjeffet hele natten, fordi at herrene hans var ute på byen og hunden var redd. Siden nattevakten i resepsjonen ikke snakket et eneste […] ord engelsk, ble problemet heller ikke løst fra hotellets side, noe som er karakteristisk for den utrolig dårlige servicen i resepsjonen. Frokosten skjer i en sportsbar og er heller ingen hit, men med nybakt brød og Coffee-to-go fra bakeriet i nærheten kan en nyte en "hjemmelaget" frokost på terrassen istedenfor....billig og koselig. Hotellet anbefales bare til dere som ønsker et greit hotell med rimelige priser. Dere som legger vekt på service og kvalitet --> ikke reserver her! Baca selanjutnya

Es un hotel bien situado y con una relación calidad/precio buena.

Etter en ukes opphold i Barcelona skulle andre uke tilbringes på stranden i Sitges, og Hotell Subur ble valgt ut pga. meget forlokkende informasjon på Hotels.com. Leiligheter i toppetasjen like ved stranden, med egen balkong. Beskrivelsen var vel noe overdreven. Leilighetene var egentlig bare et rom (ganske slitte), ingen kjøkkenkrok, vannkoker eller […] noe annet som tilhører en leilighet. Det ene rommet var vendt mot stranden og hadde HD-tv med mange kanaler, og en stor balkong som ble mye brukt under oppholdet. Det andre rommet så ut som et reserverom, vendt mot sidegaten, en liten gammeldags TV med 3 nyhetskanaler, aircondition på badet som ikke fungerte m.m. Betjeningen satt bak en liten desk og ville helst ikke svare på noe som helst virket det som, sammenlignet med andre hoteller like ved har de mye å lære om høflighet mot kundene. Beliggenheten derimot var veldig god. En tur over gaten så er du på stranden, en gate som ble flittig brukt til flere festivaler den uken vi var der. Det ble festet til 4 på natta under festivalene, så støy var umulig å unngå. Derimot morsomt om man vil oppleve festivalene på kroppen selv. Rommene vendt mot sjøen hadde utrolig flott utsikt over et storslått fyrverkeri, aldri sett maken til oppvisning i Norge. Kort avstand til alt av restauranter, butikker og togstasjonen for å dra videre til flyplass eller Barcelona (Nou Camp). Konklusjon, et helt ok hotell til et fint sted å feriere men det vil trolig være bedre å satse på nabohotellet La Niña som både hadde bedre restaurant, bedre rom, og mye hyggeligere betjening. Nice and comfortable hotel in the center of the gay area. Very thoroughly cleaned and service minded staff. Internet for free.
