The hotel is right near the u3 and u6 metro stop, Universitat, which take you to the the innenstadt (center of the city). The hotel is literally two streets away from the breathtaking Englischer Garten, which contains the Chinesischer Turm (A beer garden seating 7000), the Monopterus (A Greek style temple from which you can see much of Munich) it also […] has a lake you can rent boats out and swim in. In the center there is the Hoffbrauhaus, which is the most famous beerhall in the world. The hotel itself is very clean, although our room had no air conditioning, but it was very cheap so we didn't care, leaving the window open didn't make much of a difference. We booked a queen sized bed but got two singles, this annoyed me but it was so hot that sharing a bed would not have been a good idea and the single beds were very big. The staff were very polite and helpful. For it's price, you really can't complain. We went during the hottest season and so I don't think the aircon would be such an important feature in other months. Baca selanjutnya

The room was a good size with a decent bathroom - not the best view - reception staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful. There is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.The hotel is in a very busy area very close to all attractions and transport links.

The staff was pleasant and helpful and the hotel was well located for touring Munich and the Englischer Garten, but that's about all. No air conditioning. Older building. There are plenty and restaurants, bars/pubs, and a grocery store nearby. Wifi is available for a charge from big-named companies but no free services are available (such as a single […] computer in the lobby). For the price, good location (do not need to use the U-Bahn to get to downtown Munich or Englischer Garten), but for future trips to Munchen I will be looking for a different place to stay. The Savoy was a modest hotel but located in a neighborhood near art museums and other areas of interest. Proximity to the U-Bahn was not all that desirable, requiring a good walk to access subways. One surprise, breakfast, which was very good, was a separate charge item. Even then it was worth the extra cost.

We stayed in several places in Europe - this hotel was my favorite. The only criticism is that the pillows were very flat. And even that I didn't care that much about. The staff was very helpful and the room was roomy and clean.

Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, überall blättert die Farbe ab, Bodenleisten lösen sich... Toilettenspülung hat nicht genügend Wasserdruck. In den 5 Tagen meines Aufenthalts waren auch Reparaturarbeiten im Gang von Gange, resp. am ersten Tag haben sie irgendwelche Kabel aus ner Wand gezogen und das blieb dann so die restlichen 4 Tage (davon […] 2 Werktage) liegen. Grundsätzlich macht das Hotel einen guten Eindruck. Die verwendeten Materialen sind zwar mehr Schein als sein und ich hätte mir einen Schreibtisch oder einen Loungetisch gewünscht, an dem man arbeiten kann. Zudem sind die Zimmertüren und Fenster sehr ringhörig, d.h. jedesmal wenn meine Zimmernachbarn die Türen zugezogen haben, hat man das mitbekommen und da die Amalienstrasse auch ein Ausgehviertel ist, bekommt man Wochenende der Lärm der Strasse mit. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, das ist ein grosser Vorteil, nicht nur wenn man geschäftlich in der Stadt ist. Zimmergrösse war super (Zimmer 315) und auch schön hell am Tag. Das Frühstück habe ich nicht im Hotel eingenommen, kann das somit nicht bewerten. Es sind aber auch 2 leckere Bäckereien in der Strasse bei denen man lecker & günstig Frühstücken kann. WLan muss man bezahlen und war mit einem MacBook etwas schwieriger sich ein zu wählen (via Supporthotline) - via iPhone kein Problem. Das Receptionpersonal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Soweit alles okay, bis auch die Schalldämmung der Zimmer. Diese ist miserabel und nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Man konnte problemlos die Gespräche der Zimmernachbarn verfolgen und wusste, was bei ihnen im Fernsehen läuft.

Wir waren mit diesem Hotel nicht sehr zufrieden. Das Zimmer (insbesondere Bad) war sehr klein; Mangelnde Sauberkeit (Flecken auf Bettwäsche, Haare im Bad); Fernseher im Zimmer schlecht aufgestellt; nach Reklamation dass WC nicht richtig funktioniert, haben wir ein neues Zimmer bekommen

Badeværelserne (eller nærmere kosteskabene) er desværre alt for små, man kan nærmest kun bakke ind på nogen af dem. Værelserne er generelt meget små og klemte i indretningen. Renoveringen af hotellet er sløset gennemført. Værelserne egner sig kun som enkelt eller par, da døren til badeværelset både er gennemsigtig og absolut ikke er lydtæt. Beliggenheden […] er topklasse, men desværre er det noget af det eneste dette hotel har at byde på. Betjeningen var for det meste venlig, men rengøringen var aldeles mangelfuld. Internetadgang fra hotellet er ustabilt og MEGET overtakseret, men nettet fra restauranten nedenunder kan fanges på flere etager og har væsentlig billigere priser. Baca selanjutnya

Svårt att hitta bättre hotell för pengarna. Du blir inte besviken.

This hotel has a very nice location, just a block from some of the most interresting museums in Munich, and a short walk from most other things worth seing in the city. The neighbourhood of Schwabing is also full of nice places to eat or go out for a drink. When it comes to the hotel, the condition was almost laughable. The room looked like a caravan […] from the late seventies, with two seperate beds since there was no way to squeeze a queen size into the tight room. The beds were really really bad, and made enough noise to keep you awake if the hardness was not enough. The staff was very nice, even though they seemed to think 5 euro is a normal price for one hour of wireless internett use. Baca selanjutnya
