Nice place, nice hotel. Over rated, should be cheaper. Not very clean. Excellent restaurant Cheap and very very good food!

They call this a "Residence" but then don't give you any way to take advantage of the "residence" aspect of the hotel. Also the first night my room didn't have a dresser to even put my clothes away. When I complained they told me that not all the rooms have drawers, but they would get one for me. We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights. The room was NOT anything like shown on the pictures: very shabby and depressing, with worn down furniture, old bare floors, the window facing a brick wall, the aromas from the restaurant downstairs - the list goes on. When I complained, the only answer was "No English", and they demanded more money for the room […] I was promised. The staff does not speak English at all. Also, do not believe the advertised breakfast - they do not even have a room for it. I guess, all above was the reason the hotel was nearly empty - only a few Mexicans checked in for a night or two while we stayed there. The only good thing about this place is the location: it is located in a good neighborhood, 10 minutes walk from a metro station, and there are several good places to eat nearby. Baca selanjutnya

It was well situated just a stone throw from downtown. Perfect location was really nice and pleasant. Only two minor things: 1 - I don't think the carpet was vacuumed. 2- I had a loud neighbor upstairs just trampling the floor without a care! It was loud and sounded like spike heels:) I was up anyways so it did not wake me up, but I would have been […] ticked off if it did. The temperature was awesome, the service was great, but the Wireless was not so great. They could use a little bit of upgrade such as LCD TVs, brand new towels (they were aged but clean) and a few more AP (Wireless Access Points). But for the price and location, it is acceptable. If you're coming from abroad, you'll find this hotel in a superb location for a great price; all hotels around it are quite expensive. Polanco is a very safe and upscale neighborhood, yet very central. This hotel however is more of a b&b. Rooms may get cold (ask for a heater), and certainly not fancy. The sheets were dirty, there were hairs under the covers and on the pillows. When I discovered this I put my things back in my suitcases and run away immediately to a much better hotel nearby.

I stayed at Residencia Polanco this December. I knew the hotel has a great location. Thats all they have. I got stucked inside the elevator for an hour and 10 minutes. The people attending the hotel are very nice and they do their best to make you feel home. Unfortunately the hotel does not help

Secure and safe. Arrived late at night, rang bell Greeted by clerk who spoke English and carried my luggage. Decor is artsy, decorative windows, stencils, paintings. Not elegant, but attractive and clean. Staff is gracious and speak English. Modern bathroom, lighting and elevator. Breakfast was not free so if you have a large family that is a consideration. […] Pet friendly. Bedroom nice and dark for sleeping. However, no heat and no screens on the windows. We enjoyed the hotels comfort and convenience to the attractions and shopping in Polanco. We enjoyed starting the day with our breakfast which was very adequate; fresh fruit, juice coffe, toast and jam. Our room was equipped with a spacious bath, comfortable and firm bed , ample closet space and a small refrigerator in the room. We were supplied with […] plenty of towels and a lovely basket of bath articles like shampoos conditioner and a lovely smelling soap. Pesima experiencia. El inodoro tapado, la regadera tapada y no hay manera de ajustarla sin mojarte con agua fria, la tele se prende sola y el control no funciona, las sabanas huelen a polvo y humedad. No lo recomendaria ni a un enemigo.

Esta es mi segued estancia ahi pero no pienso regresar. Es un hotel economico para la zone donde está. Y su fachada es muy mona pero las habitaciones están muy deterioradas. Una de las toallas que nos pusieron estaba hecha jirones, con agujeros por todas partes. Pero lo que más nos disgustó es que nosotros teniamos una tarifa que incluia desayuno pero […] al llegar al hotel la cocina no estaba funcionando. Sin embargo el encargado de recepción nos dijo que ya le habia hablado al encargado de la cocina y que estaria a la mañana siguiente para server el desayuno. Al dia siguiente subimos al restaurant y estaba vacio. Cuando fui a indagar a recepción que habia sucedido nos dijo que pues no habia llegado y que ni modo. En resumen tuvimos que ir a buscar un restaurant para desayunar siendo que nosotros ya teniamos pagado el desayuno en el hotel y lkegamos tarde a nuestro compromiso porque perdimos mucho tiempo que no teniamos contemplado. Y el hotel ni siquiera se ofreció a pagar por el desayuno o compensarnos de alguna forma por el inconveniente que nos causaron. Baca selanjutnya

Buen hotel para pasar la noche. Es un hotel sencillo, limpio, las habitaciones son muy amplias con sala, una pequeña cocina con microondas, baño y la habitación. El personal es amable. El hotel es sencillo, sin nada de lujos. Lo indispensable para estar algo cómodo y pasar la noche. El hotel está bastante viejo.

El Hotel esta construido en una casona vieja de la zona de Polanco, la decoración es estilo rústico mexicano, el cuarto que ocupamos tenia una hermosa terraza para recibir el sol por las mañanas. The location is good and room is comfortable but the walls inside the rooms are in very bad shape and strange colors and not well painted. The hotel oferts to pick you up at the airport but it takes ages and at the end nobody pick you up and you have to take a taxi by yourself to the hotel. Hotel's staff is friendly and helpful.

El hotel es un poco rustico, sin embargo por lo que pagamos creo que estuvo muy bien. Nos hospedamos en una habitacion tipo suite, la cual estaba limpia y comoda. Hacia un poco de frio y solo la habitacion principal contaba con calentador electrico. La comida del restaurante es muy buena. El servicio en general estuvo muy bien. Queda cerca de muchos […] lugares para salir a comer o pasear. En nuestro caso, tuvimos que visitar la Cd de Mexico para realizar algunos tramites. El hotel cumplio con nuestras expectativas.
