The staff is friendly, service is excellent and rooms are clean! Great location right in the middle of Petaling street in Chinatown. You can walk to the train station Pasar Seni in less than 5 minutes. We had a room on floor 3 towards Petaling street but never heard the market below. However, the walls towards the corridor are very thin... Only remark was that there was small holes in the sheets and that a towel smelled bad. I'm sure that they would have fixed it if we would have asked though. Would definitely stay there again!

"Grat value hotel in Bukit Bintang"
Have stayed at the swiss garden a number of times. Location is excellent, handy for mono-rail to sentral. Bukit bintang on the doorstep, and only a 5 minute walk to the bars / restaurants in Changkat. Hotel is excellent value...consistently cheaper thant equivalent quality hotels in the area. "Not what I expected"
The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent but overall I could not recommend this hotel. The area was not very nice. "Swiss Garden - Kuala Lampur"
My wife and I very much enjoyed this hotel. Its in the golden triangle and is within walking distance to big shopping malls and the Chinese market. Everything was clean, hotel staff were helpful with directions, very very helpful. The rooms were remarkably spacious and clean and nice. The breakfast Buffett was great. EVERYTHING was great except one […] thing. NO wifi. You can get wifi if you 'purchase' a drink/food at the cafe/restAurant in the lobby which helps. It's annoying more than anything. Not a big deal. The service and other good attributes of the hotel are diminished by its breakfast buffet service which was repetitive and quite dismal for a 4 * international breakfast buffet.
"Comfortable for short stay"
Room is clean and bed is comfortable but pillow were a bit soft. Guess its individual preference. Services were great except for the frontdesk lady who check us in. Breakfast for 2 days were the same except for 1 or 2 dishes, so kind of boring if you stay there for long.

"Swiss Gardens - great location, lovely room"
We had a lovely and spacious deluxe double with a fantastically comfy and large bed! Breakfast buffet was brilliant - loads of choice, perfect to set you up for the day. Fab location, short walk into big shopping centres and about 15-20 min walk from Petronas Towers. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. "Swiss Garden Hotel KL--not such great value for mo"
The family room provided sufficient space for myself and 2 children. The hotel is well located close to all major attractions. On our second day we returned to the hotel at 3:30 pm after a busy day of sightseeing, wanting to relax a bit before heading out for dinner. The room had not been cleaned. I called housekeeping and spoke directly to the workers […] in the hallway who promised to get it done in the nxt 30 minutes We went for a swim for one hour to rerturn to a room that was still not made up. "NOT the best location"
The hotel itself is quite a commute to the Petronas Towers. Rooms do NOT have a view of the towers even if we specifically requested for one and despite the fact that they said our room has a view of the towers. Waiters in the restaurant and unfriendly. They take away your used plates and utensils from your table without excusing themselves. Waiters […] and the manager talk in Bahasa Malaysia in front of you, look at you and then laugh. Its near Bukit Bintang area. Its worth the money, as surrounding hotels are expensive. Room seems newly renovated although housekeeping is bit shabby but acceptable. "Good location but too bad of surrounding roadworks"
There are heaps of roadworks going on near the hotel and hence have to deviate to get to the train station. Hotel could be a bit more maintained than current condition. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Quite good value including breakfast and free internet! i've stayed at the swiss garden a number of times....however this time the building work that has been progressing in the area appears to have got much more disruptive..the narowing of some of the local roads means chaos on roads with major delays getting to and from the hotel. "hotel in betweem pudu raya and bukit bintang"
My family stays there for 3 nights. We find the hotel located conviniently, walking distance to Bukit Bintang. Shopping district similar to Orchard Road. Overall it is safe to have the kids along to stay in this hotel. We planned to stay there again on our next visit to KL.

"Good place to stay, good value"
Room was pretty clean and comfortable, staff nice and helpful, pretty good location, near downtown and other attractions. Wish some of the other hotels on our trip were this good!
"Decent but overpriced"
In a reasonable location on a very busy, polluted central road about 10 minutes walk from the nearest metro station. Service was OK, good choice of food for breakfast. Pretty average overall.

The staffs are helpful. The breakfast is ok. The rest.. are average. The bathtub & the walls are old. At least the shower curtain can be replaced, so that the bathroom would not look dirty. I don't think it deserves 4 stars. Next time I rather book a real 4 stars hotel or I just book a 3 stars which I can save 30% of the price I paid.

The room was basically clean when we checked in. However, the housekeeping staff seemed to be very absent minded. When we checked in, we found no towels in the bathroom. We then had to ask for towels to be delivered. Another night, the housekeeper forgot to put hand towels and another night face towels were forgotten. We (3 adults) stayed in the family room, and it was amazing in size. We had two bathrooms and two seperate bedrooms, internet access and a varandah - highly recommend this room. Buffett breakfast = ok. Pool = very small. Gym = excellent. Staff = professional and helpful. Room = 9/10. The hotel is 10 min walk to Chinatown where the markets are, and […] right across the road from the hotel (down a back lane way) are chinesse restaurants which are cheap and have great tasting food. Ask the hotel staff for directions. The hotel does not have any views of the Twin Towers - however it does have a great view of the communication tower - which looks great at night. Out the front of the hotel you can get a taxi - make sure you use the red and blue (they are cheaper) they can take you on a 4 hour day tour for a good price. Ask the taxi driver how to get tickets to the Twin Towers (so you dont have to line up at 6am) they will have someone who can assist you to get tickets for a samll price... The hotel provide excellent service in terms of cleanliness of the room. However, upon check-in, the staff did not brief you very much on whether you are entitled to any breakfast, or take initiative to give you a map for those shopping malls near the hotel. They are not very customer oriented. I requested for additional bedding for a 3 person to […] a room. However, when we reached the room, the additional bed was not yet place there. Hence, I called the assistant manager, thereafter the bed arrived shortly. They are not well-prepared to welcome guest to a room as per required. The 2nd day I requested map of KL from Swiss-Garden and realize that from the hotel to Chinatown was actually a long way, but the map showed it's very near us. "Another good stay at Swiss Gardens"
This is my 4th stay at the swiss gardens. It is handy for bukit bintang, accomodation is very good quality and in comparission with other hotels in bukit bintang is generally very good value for money. Will be back

this hotel was in middle of city close to street called times square with alot of shops & bars. area around was run down twin towers where little away but theres monrail system to get around

The location of the hotel is quite good for tourist - 5 mins walk to Jalan Alor (阿羅街夜市), 12-15 minutes walk to China Town (唐人街), 10 minutes walk to Imbi train station (KL Monorail line). Hotel is a little tired most things dont work properly room service not quite right they pend time going though your personal goods and little time is spent on clening so you dont get a ne glass or towels replaced. Taxi service at front dont use it they are over inflated prices overall it just was not value for money
"Decent place to stay."
If you want a hotel that is convenient for seeing the sights of KL, this is a good one. A short walk from Bukit Bintang shops, eateries and the Monorail. Very happy with my stay, there was no need to contact the hotel staff. The porter was helpful when we arrived and showed us everything we needed to know. A decent stay.

We stayed at Swiss Garden for 4 nights in eraly April 2011, the staff specially conceierge were very helpful , hotel location is very good , walking distance to downtown, time square, and cost about 7RM to twin tower by taxi We were so dissapointed to receive the room , it's small room with two small single bed and old quilt , it's nothing like they […] are shown in the web site photo, On top of this the bathroom has combined bath and shower , you need to "climb" without a step in to the narrow bath for shower , it's so inconvinient and it can be dangerous for elderly people, the bath is also old I was not comfortable to use that. Although hotel staffs are quite friendly but Utterly disappointed with the hotel especially the condition of my room's toilet. The hotel should expect that we are checking in as a couple but toiletries was given only 1 set. (1 toothbrush, etc). Also, there is no soap holder near the basin. The toilet looks like a 2.5 star toilet as it comes with 2 […] black chippage on the bath tub and black spots bath tub curtain where i have to drag myself to bathe everyday. The knob for the bath tub sink stopper is not working and i have to manually take out the stopper inorder to prevent "flooding" while bathing. Water spray beside the toilet bowl was leaking badly when i turn on. Did highlight to the hotel the next day and they managed to get it repair. The movie channel was not working well. The swimming pool underwent an upgrading when we check-in. We are told to swim at the Swiss Residence which is a much bigger swimming pool but when we arrived, the pool was not ready for swimming. We got a family room which was a perfect fit for 2 adults and 2 teens. Breakfast buffet was wonderful, though would have liked a few more Western choices. Walking distance to plenty of shopping. Taxi (always an adventure) or LRT and short walk to twin towers.
