The staff is friendly, service is excellent and rooms are clean! Great location right in the middle of Petaling street in Chinatown. You can walk to the train station Pasar Seni in less than 5 minutes. We had a room on floor 3 towards Petaling street but never heard the market below. However, the walls towards the corridor are very thin... Only remark was that there was small holes in the sheets and that a towel smelled bad. I'm sure that they would have fixed it if we would have asked though. Would definitely stay there again!

"Good hotel in central area of KL"
My wife and me had a good stay for 2 weeks at this hotel, it is 3rd time we use Swiss Garden. The hotel is very central located between Bukit Bintang and Chinatown and near Pudu Sentral bus station. Very good breakfast and good service. Twice we needed a plumber for small repair at toilet and each time it took less than 5 minutes from I phoned for service […] till the help was there - very good. "Overall Service of Hotel"
1. Inavailability of doorbell at the door makes it inconvenient for movement into the room. 2. Housekeeping takes long time to answer call. 3. On check out day call for bell hop did not turn up so got to struggle with luggages to lobby. 4. Overall, it is just okay only to stay in this hotel. Perhaps they can improve on the above remarks.

"An unpleasant place!"
Staff are rude. Sound insulation between rooms was very poor that you can hear people chatting next dooor. Windows have not been cleaned for a long time. Bath tub is dirty and old. Buffet breakfast is messy and feel like one is in refugee camps.

"Cool & Quiet"
Our family room was cool, quiet & comfortable - just what we needed at the end of our on the go holiday. The room was really dark to sleep in - lost track of time. The pool was small, but served it's purpose well - a must in boiling Kuala Lumpur!
"Stay Elsewhere"
Swiss Garden is middling, and barely. Mediocre rooms, the not-quite-where-you-really-want-to-be location, listless staff. This is a tourist hotel (not business) which means the staff doesn't expect you to return and treats you with that in mind. The worst was internet access which dates to circa 1999 even though the hotel was recently renovated. Signing […] on every day required a round of calls, the occasional visit by staff, rebooting the laptop, and checking in with their IT in the Philippines. Simply wanting to check email became an ordeal. The management no doubt feels it can save money by not installing Wi-Fi, but obviously has no qualms about making guests pay -- both in wasted time and money -- for inconvenient and painfully slow internet access. Front desk not helpful at all! They let us wait for hours to check-in due to room mixed up. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance of the hotel, wait until you get inside. Look for a better one! Not this...

Now, I wouldn't say that this hotel is in the heart of the hustle and bustle, but I would love to add that it is just a 5 minutes walk from the main stuff. Just around the corner to be precise. One just opposite the hotel. There is also a small supermarket across the hotel which has most stuff to keep you away from the mini bar :-). Tickets to various tours (Hop on, hop off) can be purchased from here as well. The main bus stop is opposite. A little away from the station. Street food is just a 5 minute walk. Swiss Garden has always been my favorite hotel. I have stayed there in 2009 and i enjoyed it as i have always did. Its location concidered the best cause its like a walking distance of 5 min to Pukit Pentang and 15 min walk to china town and also all the big shopping mall around like Pavillion, Time Square etc. In terms of food there is not nothing […] to complain cause all type of resutrants you would like to have are around that area. I stayed for 2 nights and this is nearer to the hotspot area like BB walk and the main malls and its like 5 mins walk away. Im happy with the cleaniness and excellent service provided by the staff of this hotel. Only thing is that there should improve their buffet breakfast as i have noticed the same dishes during my 2 days stay.

Swiss Gardens is literally across the road from Bukit Bintang where its all happening and lively. It was nice not to be on the doorstep of all that atmosphere but not so far out there was nothing to do. It literally across the road and also very close to two subway stations. It is also very close to Pudya Raya bus station where we continued our travels […] by coach to Singapore. Its about %min walk left out of the hotel. The hotel is very nicely decorated and modern. However, I do have to say for a 4star hotel, it could do with re-grouting its bathroom and change its shower curtain which was mouldy. Maybe it was just our room, I don't know. "Grat value hotel in Bukit Bintang"
Have stayed at the swiss garden a number of times. Location is excellent, handy for mono-rail to sentral. Bukit bintang on the doorstep, and only a 5 minute walk to the bars / restaurants in Changkat. Hotel is excellent value...consistently cheaper thant equivalent quality hotels in the area. My wife and I very much enjoyed this hotel. Its in the golden triangle and is within walking distance to big shopping malls and the Chinese market. Everything was clean, hotel staff were helpful with directions, very very helpful. The rooms were remarkably spacious and clean and nice. The breakfast Buffett was great. EVERYTHING was great except one […] thing. NO wifi. You can get wifi if you 'purchase' a drink/food at the cafe/restAurant in the lobby which helps. It's annoying more than anything. Not a big deal. The service and other good attributes of the hotel are diminished by its breakfast buffet service which was repetitive and quite dismal for a 4 * international breakfast buffet.
"Comfortable for short stay"
Room is clean and bed is comfortable but pillow were a bit soft. Guess its individual preference. Services were great except for the frontdesk lady who check us in. Breakfast for 2 days were the same except for 1 or 2 dishes, so kind of boring if you stay there for long.

We had a lovely and spacious deluxe double with a fantastically comfy and large bed! Breakfast buffet was brilliant - loads of choice, perfect to set you up for the day. Fab location, short walk into big shopping centres and about 15-20 min walk from Petronas Towers. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. The family room provided sufficient space for myself and 2 children. The hotel is well located close to all major attractions. On our second day we returned to the hotel at 3:30 pm after a busy day of sightseeing, wanting to relax a bit before heading out for dinner. The room had not been cleaned. I called housekeeping and spoke directly to the workers […] in the hallway who promised to get it done in the nxt 30 minutes We went for a swim for one hour to rerturn to a room that was still not made up. The hotel itself is quite a commute to the Petronas Towers. Rooms do NOT have a view of the towers even if we specifically requested for one and despite the fact that they said our room has a view of the towers. Waiters in the restaurant and unfriendly. There are heaps of roadworks going on near the hotel and hence have to deviate to get to the train station. Hotel could be a bit more maintained than current condition.
