The hotel is in a great location and I found the staff enormously helpful with a variety of requests. The decor of the rooms is slightly dated and they are on the small side but very clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool is great for a few lazy hours in the sun. The breakfast selection was excellent.

We chose the location because it is near where my daughter lives, but is well situated for visiting the major sights as well walking across the river to the charming Triana neighborhood. Stayed for one night to park at hotel and experience Seville by walking. Was able to reserve parking in advance, the hotel was easy to find, easy location to walk to attractions and areas. Room was very classy and clean, however a little warm. Never did figure out how to get a/c, just opened the window a little and turned off the heat.

The hotel is very close to the city center - 5-8 min to the Cathedral. Room is clean, and rather big. Service in the hotel is very good and all people on front desk helpful. Didn't have breakfast at hotel as In the area around lots of restaurants and bars to eat for 4-5 euros. Taxi from the airport to the hotel costs 25 euros.

The Becquer Hotel looked after us very well. The hotel is in a great position to explore this lovely city.

The only drawback was WiFi problems. Otherwise hotel was perfect location, walkable everywhere; plenty of restaurant options and one of the best breakfast buffets in town!

The hotel is located within a 5 to 10 minute walk of all the main sights. It has secure underground parking, clean, smart rooms, and is great value for Seville. Unfortunately the roof-top terrace and swimming pool were closed when we were there (beginning of February), but we'd definitely return in the spring/ summer to take advantage of them. In no way a 4* hotel. Its location is central (about a 10-minute walk from the Cathedral), but there are plenty of options that are more central. The nice part about it location is that it's within equal distance of the Triana bars and the Cathedral. The area around the hotel is also quite good and safe. The bathroom was really clean, and also quite […] nice. The rooms are really clean and the staff is nice and friendly. But: - the cleaning lady walked into our room, which I certainly don't expect in a 4* hotel - the AC was not working Overall, not a bad hotel and I may stay here again -- but there was nothing special about it, and it's certainly in no way 4* in my book. It's quite forgettable. One upside: it has a pool on the top with a really nice view of the cathedral -- highly recommended if you're visiting in the warmer part of the year (we visited in February). I guess it gets very crowded though. All in all, a safe choice if you don't want to take a risk and cleanliness and central location is all you require. Hotel Becquer was comfortable and the staff were pleasant enough. The room wasn't the best we stayed in, but it was far from the worst. They put two people in two single beds without asking. Walls were extremely thin and you could hear everything that went on the other rooms.

Staff are welcoming, the room was clean, but noisy during the night, and the room was cold during the night, otherwise its recommendable and nice location. I can say that its great for a family holiday and business too.

We had booked this short stay at the hotel as a break within a break, we were at our appartment on the Costa del Sol, unfortunatly the weather did not favour us for our stay it rained, this together with a bad back, put the damper on our visit. The Hotel however provided a refuge from the rain, it was a shame the in house restaurant was closed for renovation […] but they still managed an excellent breakfast. The location is excellent to visit all major tourist attractions. It is also a block away from the beautiful river that traverses Sevilla and the variety of restaurants in theTriana area. the customer service was outsatnding. Ask personnel for restaurant recommendations and they will not stear you wrong.

We thought this hotel was OK. I felt that this hotel could use some updating. The room we had terrible views and seemed a bit on the small side. The bathroom was nice though! The Becquer Hotel, has everything one needs on a visit to Seville. Comfortable clean rooms, dining facilities, bar and internet access. All the main tourist attractions, plus restaurants shops cafes etc, are within easy walking distance of this hotel. I would not hesitate in recommending the Becquer Hotel

Good location for all main attractions. Rooftop pool great for cooling off after a hot day out.Do walk across the Triana bridge at the end of the road and have a sherry at the top of the yellow bar/restaurant at the other end. Bliss. The room was a good size and bed very comfortable. Room 420 did not seem to have been used recently and there was a smell of stale tobacco in the room when we first arrived but it cleared after a while when we ran the air-con. The door between the bedroom and the vestibule did'nt shut properly and neither did the bathroom door. Rooftop pool was very […] nice although became a bit crowded from time to time. One couple with young boy (7 or 8 yrs old) did not take any notice of the no diving notices and allowed the child to jump into the pool which was dangerous and inconsiderate. It is in a quiet location - no late clubs or anything to make a disturbance. The room we had overlooked the main street but was quiet - perhaps due to the very effective double glazing. We had a partial view of the cathedral which was pleasant - although only the front-facing rooms would have any kind of a view. From the hotel it is only a ten minute […] walk to the town centre and there are taxis opposite should you need them. Reception were courteous and helpful and moved rooms for us without any fuss at all. Some reviewers have commented adversely about Reception staff but we found them to be fine. The rooftop pool is a big plus and only got busy from late afternoon. A great place to lie in the sun and read and take the occasional dip. The hotel has a spa but we didn't use that. I can't comment on food in the hotel as we always ate out - why would you do otherwise in Seville?! Just across the street there are two cages (Flores and India) which serve good food and drinks and are ideal for breakfast or a late nightcap. The room we had was good and clean, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and modern. The shower was over the bath but still very effective - and the aircon was really good. By the reception desk are 2 computers and a printer - ideal for printing off boarding passes. All in all a relaxed and pleasant place to stay. The staff is friendly and the location is good. The room is relatively small as we have added an extra bed. The hotel seems dated and the air conditioner is very loud. However, the air conditioner noise helped us sleep as we were not bothered by nose of other hotel guests.

The view from the pool at this hotel was wonderful. There was a variety of delicious restaraunts located within two blocksof the hotel and you could easily walk to the main attractions. Also nearby was boutique shopping and El Corte Ingles, a large not-to-be-missed department store. The air conditioning in the room was also fantastic, which is incredibly […] important in Seville in August. We enjoyed our stay in Sevilla, the hotel is 15 minutes to the Cathedral, best route is to walk up to Calle Mendez Nunez and follow to Plaza Nueva, cut diagonally across to the Av. de la Constitucion.
