Service was great, upgraded my room. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Location was a little difficult to get to with service roads and access roads but fine once you navigated it once or twice. Plenty of food nearby with an IHOP on the premises. I think it should be fenced because all around the hotel we have boards which says "Park at your own risk and hotel management is not responsible for the loss of goods". This is not a good way to welcome guests as we pay $$$ for staying and security too. So if its not secured enough then why would the guests come to stay there. Please make it more secured. "So hard to find a good hotel in New Orleans"
This hotel is old and never been fully updated. A Queen bed was all that was available so it comes with a handicap bathroom which takes up half of the room. Wallpaper was peeling, plaster falling of the ceiling, the fill spout in the tub almost fell off when I pulled the lever to turn on the shower. Carpets smelled and looked very old. The linens appeared […] clean so the maids did a good job with what they had to work with. The one chair in the room was covered with stains. Also the safe in the room did not work. The daytime desk clerk was not the most friendly, but I am finding everywhere that desk clerks lack customer service skills.
