It was an alright stay. Didn't like that you can't take your breakfast up to your room, silly rule. Also the price was a little high. Plus there were beer cans in the elevator and it squeaked alot. Otherwise it was ok. Wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel workers were not very pleasant, there was blood stains on some of the pillows and the sheets were dirty. It was extremely muggy in the entire hotel room. Overall hotel was ok. Room needed maintenance. Shower pull valve was broken and hard to use. Shower handle was also broken making it hard to adjust the water temperature. Generally very good but 2nd floor table by the elevator had a heavy layer of dust and Christmas decoration still on it Hello? Patio was dirty with beer bottles and cigarette butts! Pool out of order and was not notified in advance of stay. Hair drier did not work Breakfast buffet great friendliness and response to room concerns excellent.

I let the front desk know when we checked out the following: There was no iron in our room only the ironing board, no cups in the bathroom so I had to hunt down a housekeeper to find extra. The toilet was not working properly. The elevator down at the end of the hall closed to hard and fast - I had to put may arm out to stop it from knocking over two […] children that started to enter and the doors closed to fast and hard, slightly hit one child but my arm kept it from knocking them both down, parent was behild the children. Front bathroom was very dirty. While I was waiting for someone to leave the front lobby bathroom, the door to where the housekeeping was open I watched the housekeeper use her bare hands to fill up cups of ice which she put in a pitcher and emptied in the the countainer on the breakfast bar (very unsanitary). No glass turn table in microwave. Sorry for this long list but I was truly disappointed in all the above and will not stay at this location in the future. I'll try to keep this short but not sweet. The hotel rooms seriously need updating. The mattress sank in the middle. The floors in the room and bathroom had hair and dust build-up around edges because of improper vacuuming (yuck!). The a/c unit was completely off when I checked in room which led to a hot welcome. Also there were 2 long hairs waiting […] for me on top of a/c unit. The back of the bathroom door had holes all over it from the rot from the steam of shower. The photos of the bathroom on the website are not how the actual bathrooms are so beware. And when I was loading up my car to checkout and went back to my room to get my other stuff they had deactivated my room key already. It was 11:20 AM. Checkout is 12:00 PM. So I was highly annoyed when I had to go to front desk to get my card reactivated. I even made sure that 12:00 was indeed the correct checkout time. It was and the front desk lady didn't even bother to apologize. I felt very unwelcome there. It was like they were saying hurry up and get out. Also the pool was cloudy with lots of debris in it. I did not swim even though it was hot enough to. The hot complimentary breakfast would have been better had all the bread products and cereal not been stale. The 'fresh' biscuits were rock hard! Clean but rundown. A/C barely functioned. No cups or ice bucket. Front desk was angry that we asked for them.

Don't let the pictures of this hotel fool you. They make it seem like a pretty nice hotel, but it is more run down than shown. The rooms were non-smoking, but the whole place smelled like old cigarette smoke. The people at the front desk seemed like they hated their job and it felt like I was bothering them when I had to interact with them. Our room […] was ok...the bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. The bathroom was VERY small...one of the smallest I've been in and I travel often. The pool was 8ft deep, but it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The bright spot of this hotel was the location. I had no problems with my hotel room. Bed and pillows were soft (but I think most hotel beds are soft anyhow). The hangers on the clothes rack were kind of skeezy (the kind where there aren't actual hangers but pieces of metal you to remove to hang your clothes on) . I requested more "hangers" b/c previous guests must have helped themselves and there […] were some missing; front desk staff promised me to get someone out to check on this but they never did. Otherwise, staff was very cordial and nice. The night manager got me a full change of sheets when I came back one night to discover the maids hadn't cleaned my room. However, if you don't ask directly for local maps, directions, or for other help etc. you will not get service, whereas at fancier hotels the people at the desk will go out of their way to assist you and ask if you need help. Nice that there's a fridge and microwave in the room, so if you're trying to vacation on the cheap, you can buy stuff and cook it in the room. That said, there are no grocery stores within walking distance except the gas station's shop next door. Breakfast was ok - nothing special but certainly better than trying to find a $5 overpriced Starbucks in town. For the kids, there is a waffle iron and premade batter, a special touch that I did not expect at a hotel like this. I was in Austin for SXSW and I expected a level of party noise. However, note that there are balconies on many of the rooms and people will continue their parties into the wee hours (so I slept with earplugs) and drunk people would come back at all hours and bang on doors when they couldn't get in. So the rooms aren't well soundproofed. I could hear the people talking in the room next door. I'm a light sleeper, so I doubt I'd stay here again. I stayed at this hotel for a reasonable rate to be split between my friend and I (who later cancelled) so my paying the full rate wasn't that great of a deal for one person. Double booked my room and then kicked out an elderly diabled couple. They made no attempt to fix this problem, told me I booked it through hotels.com and it was my problem. Do not stay here.

Although this hotel was convienent for our needs, the pictures on the site do not really show what you are getting. The furniture was old and cheaply made, the room had peeling paint and trim work was scratched. It wasn't terrible, but the rooms are in serious need of updating. My wife and I stayed at the Baymont Inn for 2 nights. We were passing through Austin and wanted a place near to the airport for our early morning flight. The hotel building is old and looks like it needs maintenance. The rooms were also old and needed some brightening up. Although it was bearable, more lighting in the room and corridors could liven […] up the atmosphere. The wifi in the room kept on disconnecting very 20 minutes. Get a ethernet cable if you want uninterrupted internet. There were not enough power outlets in the room. The refrigerator, coffee machine, and my laptop were competing for power outlets. The breakfast was not too bad - pancakes, OJ, bread, yoghurt etc. The Vietnamese restaurant next door had good food - huge portions. The gas station next door is a major convenience. There is a Walmart and other shops 0.5 miles away if you want to buy more items. The staff was helpful and courteous. This was a nice value and good location in south Austin near several other hotels right near I-35 near so you can get most anywhere. My room was quiet and they have the room Heater/AC with fan you can set on low too if you wish for any noise cancelling too. Fresh newer decor inside and the hot breakfast included Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, Biscuit and Gravy, […] Toast, Muffins and Donuts, Cereal, Oatmeal, Waffles, Yogurt Coffee, Tea, Milk, Orange and Apple Juice, several Fruits, etc. I even made a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich and took back to the room with a Yogurt cup for snack for later. :] Frig., coffee and microwave in room too. I enjoyed my stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites because it was near downtown and various other places. The hotel was very easy to find and get to from the freeway. my Halloween weekend down 6th street was very enjoyable. Thank you.

We stayed here for one night when my sister was in town for her birthday. It was clean and comfortable and i would stay here again.

Very convenient location, but the hotel itself is kind of old. My room had a huge humidity hole above the mirror, the shower curtains had mold on them (gross), and the elevator seems to be from the first generation of elevators. They don't signal correctly it's location either, I had to help a poor old man who had been looking for it in the third floor […] for about a minute. The service was ok. Ideal location...south of downtown...Room was clean and good order...breakfast was hot and fresh...real eggs too! We stay again.

The room was in disrepair; bathroom door was split in several places with peeling veneer, the carpet made me reluctant to walk in bare feet; the "light blocking" curtains are NOT light blocking at all. You could tell there was repainting done; however, repainting a bad wall still leaves a bad wall. Not near enough available plug-ins for cell phone chargers, […] computer, etc. It is situated next to a Comfort Suites, a Double Tree, etc. We could have made a much better choice for the money. It was somewhat hard to get to the hotel from 35 southbound, but worth it. This was a great hotel for the money. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was more than I expected too.

An older remodeled motel. My guess is that Baymont bought the property from another chain and remodeled it. The entry way was nice as was the breakfast bar area. The rooms you could tell were re-done but not at the level of Baymont's newer motels. The place was just an average stay.

overall the room is great, the room is clean the bed was very comfortable however the for front desk personnel were not very welcoming and never mentioned needing a meal ticket so we had a ruined breakfast 01 morning. our server who argued with me try to tell me that I have to pay for my breakfast when It was included with the room.

This Hotel was comfortable, but would have had a much higher rating from me with just a few details that would have made a big improvement. The biggest item on my list was that the pool was dirty and it took them a day and a half to get it cleaned after being approached about it. I have children who were looking forward to a swim and were very dissappointed. […] The smaller items were: the hall way needed vaccuming, apparently something had been moved that left pieces on the floor, the desk chair in our room was badly stained which gave you a grimey feeling, the fruit at breakfast was less than desirable looking and the breakfast attendant was a little slow and make sure everything was refilled. The front desk clerk was fantastic! She was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The location couldn't have been better, as we planned on spending most of our weekend on SoCo and/or downtown. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Only downfall of this hotel was that it was very dated. Building/walls/elevators looked and smelled old. Arriving in our room we were overwhelmed with the bleach smell. The room is clean, which is good, but if you are sensitive to chemicals this is not the hotel for you. We asked the housekeeper not to use cleaner for the duration of our stay which was helpful, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to tolerate it. We were on the ground floor so opening […] the slider to air out the room wasn't an option, without feeling like people could walk right in off the sidewalk. If I stayed here again I would request an upper floor for this reason. Desk staff seems stressed out and not all that friendly. Don't expect "the customer is right" service but that may not matter if you don't have expectations that are too high. This hotel is cheap so these things can be easily tolerated if you're looking for a deal. The location isn't great if you're hanging out downtown but we got used it. The hotel is on a one-way access road so you have to drive a round-about way to get there from downtown. Hot breakfast here is a BIG PLUS. Basically, if you're looking for a value, this is a good choice; if you're looking for a lot of comfort and convenience, you may want to pay more somewhere else. Baca selanjutnya

The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. Those are the things I care about most, so this worked very well for me. It's about 1/4 mile from a bus stop that you can use to get downtown in about 20 minutes for $1. The room itself is huge, although the plugs in my room weren't well-placed (I had to move the bed to plug in my laptop.

I could hear the tvs on in both of the rooms next to me. The hotel was too noisy for me. I need quiet so I would not stay here again.

The staff here is fabulous - very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are fine, clean, and comfortable. The hotel itself is definitely dated, but it is a real value for the money. I stayed 3 nights because it was close to 35 and the airport and I had meetings in Austin and San Antonio. I'd stay there again for sure.

Though it appears they attempted to "rennovate" the hotel, the rooms and facilities are not as pictured on the website. The building is old and smells and the rooms are not well kept. The beds are hard, the carpets filthy, the food tasteless and the overall quality poor. This hotel felt more like a "rent by the hour" motel than a hotel. Nice Room. Offered us on First Floor was real plus. Comfortable two bed room was roomy. Only drawbacks were fridge did not work & no exhaust fan in restroom to air after hot shower and little bit dirty in bathroom.

Overall very nice. The staff was superb. The room was good. Driving in Texas is "unique" and the hotel was situated in a convenient area to downtown Austin. Not much hassle as far as that goes. Next door was a nice place to go get drinks and food. Worked out perfectly for what we needed.

The room itself was fine - functional. Very close to a bus stop, which makes it accessible to downtown and the airport, by car or public transportation. The hotel looks close to food, stores, etc. if you look on a map, but if you are trying to walk anywhere, forget it - the freeways are huge and the sidewalks are not great. I did set off the fire […] alarm by turning on the heater, which wasn't great. The TV was fine for viewing from bed, but didn't spin without becoming grainy. The age of the hotel showed, but what does one expect? It would also have been good if coffee cups were replaced every day, but otherwise service was good, and the staff were very friendly.
