AWESOME!!!....

This hotel had been refurbished and should serve as an example of how a bathroom, especially the shower/tub features should be in all hotels. The water flow could be regulated, the temperaure adjustment worked well and the shower head could be adjusted for pattern and direction. This hotel is well kept and served the purpose for our visit. I thought the price was good but, when it includes two free breakfest meals for the both of us, it really brings the price down. It also has a very nice and relaxing pool area for the gang to sit around and enjoy the late evenings. I would recommend this hotel to all my biker friends.

They need to have fridges in the rooms.

The hotel is a little bit older but everything was clean and in good working order and very comfortable. It was a great bargain and I would recommend it.

Sunday House is an older, but very nicely renovated hotel. Very clean. The stag are very nice and helpful. Also check out the Acapulco restaurant down the street.

The stay was very nice but the "free" breakfast was at the restaurant next door which was very short staffed. The food was warm, the potatoes were Irish and the toast was way over done. Our waitress seemed very nice but too busy while one other waitress seemed not so busy and not as polite.

This is a beautiful setting and the hotel was very comfortable. They have a very nice outdoor pool although it was too cool yet to be able to use it. They offer a free breakfast with your stay. You go to the restaurant located in the parking lot and order your own hot breakfast from the 3 choices available.

Do not eat at the restaurant included with the hotel. The service is extremely poor and slow. The food is not worth the wait. The hotel is older but it is adequate. The rooms need a major floor cleaning but considering the hotel's age, it is expected. The staff should be more aware of local attractions to inform travellers. When I went to get a morning […] cup of coffee from the hotel lobby, I was shocked to find that the coffee dispensor pumped a hof dozen ants into my cup! No I didn't drink it. Before booking this hotel, we have read review about it. It says the hotel is old. So we didn't expect much. When we got into the room, we were surprised to see the room is much bigger than the newer hotel. The bathroom was updated. The mattress could use a little update. There is no fridge in the room. Overall, it's a good price, good location hotel. […] We especially like the restaurant that is next to the hotel which provides decent breakfast. The hotel gave us a voucher for free breakfast. My first impression when I entered the room was the very old bedspreads. The cleanliness of the room was acceptable but I couldn't get past the old dull bedspreads that made the room look uninviting.Front desk personnel were outstanding and the landscaping was very nice. PLease update your bedding.

Very nice for an older motel, staff is courteous, room was clean. Suggest intalling small fridge/microwave to finish modernization. Mattresses need replaced, they have a few spots where the springs seem to be broken down. Decent stay for the money. Finally a room with 2 Queen beds and a fold out sofa bed.Just what is needed for a family of 5.The price through hotels.com was wonderful. The hotel is older but in great shape.No complaints.Will return and recommend to others.

My husband & I stayed 2 nights at this hotel and will say in comparison with the price of the other hotels, it was very reasonably priced. However, some minor facts: a) We had to take double room with two queen beds. b) The mattress on the one we slept on first was not firm enough, and I felt like i was going to fall off the bed. We enjoyed our 2 night stay here at the Sunday House. Me and my family were in town for a mini-vacation. It was the best complimentary breakfeast anywhere, full service waitress...Great. Most of the rooms view the outdoor pool and are still very convienent to parking. Pool has some sun but mostly shade given by large oak trees. Very well landscaped […] and neatly furnished around the pool. Note: if you are particular about not having indoor hallways then you may not want to stay here, all rooms are outdoor entrance only...did not bother us it beats the smelly carpeted hallways of most other lodging establishments. Rooms were very large and clean and found neatly in order. Rooms were basically equipped as you might expect. Not the "ritz" but there is no better bargain for the money. The cleaning staff is jonny on the spot and highly recommend a tip for them as we did. If I am ever in the area again I will not shop around, I will just book here again. Definite repeat. Picking my son up from a camp in Comfort and we chose to stay in Kerrville. We chose Best Western because of the accessibility to I-10...Once we got there the people were very friendly, the room was fine (take your own pillow if you can), the beds need new mattresses or a flip (you felt like you were rolling to the middle) and the complimentary breakfast […] the next morning was great...We will definitely stay again... Needed a quick spot to stay night prior to picking up kid from camp. Didn't want to spend a fortune so this hotel was most convenient, decent and affordable. However, booked two rooms and they were not close together. The lock in my room was broken and the customer service regarding the matter was lacking. The online information begins with "Discover this pet-friendly Kerrville, Texas hotel..." We had a lot of family members staying there and one brought their dog. They had to get special permission from the manager to allow their dog to be in the room. Every door had "No pets please!" posted. How is that pet friendly? Then, they want to charge more per […] day because of the pet but they do not charge extra for smokers whose nicotine, in my opinion, causes more damage to the interior than a well traveled pet would. I highly recommend Best Western Sunday Inn in Kerrville, Tx. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Will return for a stay at this place anytime. Complimentary breakfast a BIG plus!!!

We had reserved a non-smoking room and were put in smoking; fortunately neither of us is greatly affected by that. This particular place gives a coupon for a full breakfast to an adjacent restaurant that is very good. We had stayed in this one before and would again.

It was a great value for our trip. the rooms were very nice and clean. My only complaint was that the sheets were not soft. It was quiet and very well maintained. The staff was very cordial.

Comfortable, reasonable hotel. Beds are very comfortable, and the room was very clean. Some more attractive bedspreads and wall decorations would improve the attractiveness of the rooms; the lobby and pool area are very nice. It would also be nice to have a little fridge in the room; even budget hotels tend to have them now. My only complaints were: […] (1) My non-smoking room definitely did not smell like it was only non-smoking; it needs some Febreze sprayed all over it. Very limited parking, so I had to carry bags a considerable distance and up two flights of stairs. Further there was a large noisy group of people sitting downstairs under windows, laughing and talking till after 11:00 P.M. However, on the up side the staff were helpful and friendly.

Hotel and room were excellent,. room location not as good as I would have liked, but O.K.

Good home base for all the area towns we like to go and see on our motorcycle. Would like to see maybe putting in some mini refrigerators in the rooms. Loved the coffee make in room...very nice. Otherwise loved the room, it was big and spacious and was always cleaned greatly! A good value for the Fri-Mon stay we were there.

Very large room, beautifully equipped, very clean. Public spaces - pool well taken care of, nice plantings. Check in personnel worked very hard at full house to relocate us from smoking (hotel.com error?) to non-smoking room, check out person very knowledgeable, personal and helpful. The only negative was the room attendant who did not even bother to […] make our beds, cover was pulled up on one, nothing was done to the other bed. I just needed a place to crash on my way through on a road trip. Super friendly staff, seamless check in/check out, clean and quiet room and a yummy breakfast!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Kerrville at the Sunday House. They were very accomodating and friendly. The room was clean and very quiet and I felt very safe, since there was two women staying without their husbands. I have stayed there before and I have never been disappointed. The full breakfast is a big bonus in my book!!!

Most of the parking lot was being redone and not accessable. The restaurant was also closed down because of this and so the hot breakfast was not available as well. They told us we could walk to Holiday Inn and get the breakfast which was pretty far. The lady at the front desk was very nice.

The rooms are large and clean and there is plenty of hot water on demand. Nonsmoking rooms are available. I had little interaction with the staff, and so cannot provide a comment in that area. A complimentary breakfast is provided at a restaurant at the foot of the parking lot, and the breakfast is ample for the traveler. I stayed in the winter and […] did not use the pool, so again, no comments on that. Very good value, even for Kerrville. Extremely convenient to IH35 and the usual restaurants like Cracker Barrel and to convenience stores with gasoline pumps. Here is the only problem: I stayed in a first floor room and was able to hear activity on the second floor, such as a patron walking around the room above my room. Overall, I would have given this facility a 4.5, but only 4 and 5 are available, so I chose 5. Remember, this is a relatively small town in West Texas, more or less, and this facility is very accommodating in that context. It is not as new as other nearby chains, but is a great value - in my opinion superior to a Days Inn and so forth. Depending on the conditions in Fredericksburg, this facility would be a good place to stay if one were sightseeing in Fredericksburg, since Fredericksburg is only about 20 miles away by a fairly good road. As always, we used this hotel for our stop with our riding group! And, as always, it met our needs well! We were roomed near one another, roomed to face the parking lot so we werent concerned about the motorcycles, breakfast was fast and warm, and staff was great. This is one of the older properties in Kerrville. However, a few years ago, the owners put some serious dollars in renovating the hotel (I know this because I use to live in Kerrville). This was my first stay in the hotel. My room was large, very comfortable, and equipped with all of the amenities that I normally take advantage of when I stay at a hotel. […] The location is convenient to the interstate and easily accessible. The hotel was very convenient as a location. It is an older hotel, so some of it was in need of repair. The service was friendly and extremely helpful.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the coffee pot was big enough for several cups. The only issue was finding a live tick crawling around in the bathroom sink.
